GOING TO BED WHILE MAD AT EACH OTHER (MODERN AU)

(Decided to add Zuko and Bolin too cuz they are my favs )

(Making out headcanons will be out soon )

SOKKA

The drive home from your double date with Katara and Aang was tense and silent after Sokka and you had disagreement. Now in your apartment, He walked to the bedroom, stripping off his shirt with more aggression than necessary.

You followed with narrowed eyes, grabbing pajamas. "Well don't look so angry, it's not the end of the world," you snapped.

Sokka threw his shirt into the hamper with a little more force than intended. "Maybe I wouldn't be angry if you listened to me once in a while instead of doing whatever you want".

You scoffed, yanking your top off to change. "If you'd take that giant stick out of your ass, you'd see I was right!"

He opened his mouth to argue when his eyes fell on your exposed chest, momentarily distracted. you caught his stare and put your hands on your hips. "Enjoying the view?"

He swallowed, eyes flicking back up guiltily. "...Maybe."

"Thought so." You smirked, slipping your sleep shirt on. "You can't stay mad at this."

Sokka chuckled softly, tension breaking as he pulled you into his arms. "No, I can't." He kissed your forehead gently. "I'm sorry. You drive me crazy but I love you."

You snuggled close with a content sigh. "I love you too, dork. Now come to bed."

ZUKO

Zuko and you still hadn't said a word to each other since your argument that afternoon. Now you lay stiffly in the dark bedroom, turned away from each other.

Zuko sighed softly. He hated going to bed angry, even if it was just a petty disagreement. Shifting towards your back, he slowly wrapped an arm around your waist.

"I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier," he murmured into your hair. "You were just trying to help."

You didn't reply at first. Then, you back seemed to soften in embrace. "You never listen to my advice," you grumbled.

Zuko smiled, "I know. I'm a stubborn mule." He nuzzled a kiss to your shoulder. "Forgive me?". You twisted in his arms to face him. "You're lucky you're cute," you muttered, bopping his nose gently.

His grin widened. "So we're good?" At your small nod, he peppered your face with kisses until you cracked a smile too.

BOLIN

It had been a long day and Bolin was exhausted as he shuffled into your bedroom, ready to pass out. But when he walked in, you were already lying down facing away from him.

He sighed, knowing you were still upset about their earlier argument. "Babe, come on. Don't be like that," he pleaded softly pouting. When you didn't respond, he sat on the edge of the bed and gently rubbed your shoulder.

"I said I was sorry. You know I'm an idiot sometimes." Still nothing. He leaned down and nuzzled your neck. "Please don't ignore me, I'll die without my goodnight kiss!"

You stubbornly kept your back turned, though he noticed the corner of your mouth twitching up in smile. He grinned, an idea coming to him.

Springing to his feet, Bolin turned off the lights and climbed onto the bed on all fours, prowling towards you ,"Gotcha!" he pounced, tackling you from behind and attacking your face with sloppy kisses.

You squealed and squirmed, trying to fight him off through your giggles. "Ew, Bolin stop! Get off me!"

He let up, catching your hands and pulling you into his chest as you caught your breath. "I love you," he murmured sweetly, pecking your lips.

"I love you too, you dork. Now let me sleep!"

WHEN HE'S THE LITTLE SPOON WHILE CUDDLING (modern au)

SOKKA

You snuggled up watching a movie,you are curled into Sokka's chest as usual.

But tonight he gets a mischievous glint. "You know, I don't think I've ever been the little spoon before."

You laugh, thinking he's joking. But when he pries your arms off and rolls over, you realize he's serious.

You wrap your body around his back, chin fitting into his shoulder. Sokka lets out a content sigh.

"This is kind of nice actually. I can see the appeal now," he admits as you giggle.

Your arms feel so safe and warm enveloping him. He can't help but relax into your soft embrace.

You lay like that for a few minutes, your steady breaths on his neck lulling Him towards sleep.

ZUKO

Zuko is usually the big spoon during your cuddling sessions. But one night he gets the urge to change things up.

He rolls over so his back is to you and hesitantly moves your arm over his waist.

You can tell he's a bit self-conscious so you snuggle in close and hold him tightly. You press soft kisses to the back of his neck and shoulders.

Zuko relaxes into your embrace with a soft sigh. It feels nice to be held for a change and let someone else be the strong one.

He covers your hand with his own and interlaces your fingers, enjoying the intimacy.

He surprises even himself with how much he enjoys being your little spoon. He starts to crave it just as much as giving you cuddles.

"Shit!" The curse slipped past Sokkas's lips as he banged his toe on the couch leg. Hopping on one foot, he was too late to stop the word leaving his mouth.

Wide eyes turned to see your son watching with attention from the floor. "Dada shit!" the little one parroted happily.

Sokka froze, horror and panic rising in his chest. "No no buddy, that's a naughty word," he said hastily.

But your son only grinned, enjoying the new sounds. "Shit shit shit!"

Just then, you walked in, freezing at the chorus of cusses. Your brows arched in a unamused glare.

He put his hands up, cringing. "I know, I know! It was an accident, I swear."

Scooping up your son, you stared down Sokka. "We talked about watching that mouth around him."

Sokka hung his head. "I know love, I slipped up. Won't happen again, I promise." Your gaze softened as your son babbled happily, oblivious to his wrongdoing.

"Just be more mindful. He copies everything now," you warned, though anger faded to concern.

He nodded solemnly. "You're right as always. I'll do better." Stealing a kiss, he grinned. "He ain't the only one who learns from you."

MORNING AFTER WEDDING NIGHT ~

Zuko slowly opened his eyes as the morning sunlight drifted through the window. the memories of the previous day came flooding back - your wedding, the ceremony, dancing the night away as husband and wife.

A smile spread across his face as he tilted his head and looked at you lying next to him, still fast asleep. Your hair fanned out across the pillow, lips slightly parted as you breathed softly. In that moment you had never looked more beautiful to him.

Gently he reached out and brushed a few strands of hair from your face, letting his fingers linger gently on your cheek. You sighed softly in your sleep but didn't stir.

Part of him still couldn't believe you had chosen him, a guy like him, with his past and flaws. But as his eyes traced your wedding ring, he believed that this was real, you were truly his now in every way, Forever.

He leaned in and placed a tender kiss to your forehead, not wanting to wake you just yet. But as his lips brushed your skin, he saw your eyelids begin to flutter open slowly. You stared up at him through a sleepy haze, lips curling into a warm smile as you remembered with whom you woke up with.

"Good morning, fire lady" Zuko murmured with a grin, voice still raspy with sleep. Your hand came up to brush his cheek as you sighed happily. "Best morning of my life."

The morning sunlight peeks through the curtains in your room, gently waking up from his peaceful sleep. He stretches, reaching instinctively for you but finding the other side of the bed already empty and cold.

Rolling over with a yawn, Sokka's gaze stops on his new wife standing by the window, wrapped loosely in a bedsheet. His breath catches at how radiantly beautiful you are.

You sense his eyes on you turning around, meeting his stare with a soft smile. Memories of their wedding night passion flickering behind your eyes, leaving you aglow. A lifetime of mornings like this awaits you two now, and that thought sends a thrill through him.

"Come back to bed, wife," Sokka rasps playfully, patting the empty space beside him. You huff and laugh but obey, nestling into his welcoming embrace.

Pressing a tender kiss to your lips, he promises to spend each morning showing you how deeply loved and cherished you are. This is only the first of your married days together, and many more are to come.

Bolin wakes slowly, cheeks aching from how much he smiled in his sleep. Bright sunlight filters through the windows .

You stir beside him, lashes fluttering open to see your gorgeous eyes gazing up at him with love and happiness. It takes his breath away all over again.

"Good morning, my wife" he greets you softly, brushing a kiss to your forehead. You smile making his heart stutter. "Good morning, husband."

memories of last night makes him blush. He slides a hand to cup your cheek, leaning in for a tender kiss of promise for forever.

You sigh softly into his lips, arms winding around his neck as you kiss back deeply. Bolin caresses the soft curves he knows so well, still not believing that she is truly his for life now.

When you pull away for air, foreheads pressed together, Bolin brushes back hair from your face. "I love you. Thank you for becoming my wife," he says softly .

You take his hand, bringing it to your lips to kiss his ring. "I love you too, always. Thank you for being my best friend and now my husband." They smile, bodies entwining once more, joyously celebrating the first of many more mornings like this, together happily married together.

The morning sunlight gently woke Mako from his sleep. As his eyes flickered open, memories of the night before came flooding back with a rush of warmth.

He was married. To you. His beautiful wife.

Rolling over, he found you still sleeping peacefully beside him, your hair fanned out over the pillow. You looked like goddess.

He couldn't help himself - he leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to your shoulder, not wanting to fully wake you up yet. But you stirred slightly with a happy little sigh, blinking awake to see his adoring gaze.

"Good morning, wife" he whispered, nuzzling your neck lovingly.

A soft blush colored your cheeks at the new title. You reached up to cup his face, thumb caressing his cheek. "Good morning, husband."

Mako's heart swelled at the word. Pulling you closer, he captured your lips in a deep kiss, pouring all the love and passion from the previous night into it.

When you finally broke for air, he gazed down at your flushed, sated form and felt utterly content. "I love you so much."

Resting cheek against his bare chest, you smiled up at him. "I love you too. Forever and always."

Korra stirred as sunlight peeked through the curtains, blinking away sleep. Memories of the previous night flooded back ,A soft smile tugged at her lips reliving it.

Turning, she found you still sleeping peacefully beside her, hair tousled over the pillow. You looked ethereal in the morning glow, now bound to her as wife.

You stirred under her watch, eyes fluttering open to meet her loving stare. A lazy smile spread across your face, fingers reaching up to gently brush her cheek.

"Good morning, Wife" Korra murmured, pressing a kiss to your palm.

You hummed in pleasure. "I could get used to waking up like this for the rest of my life."

"You better." Korra grinned, drawing you close against her chest, uncaring that you were both still bare beneath the sheet. "You're stuck with me now."

You giggled, playfully nipping along her collarbone. Korra sighed softly, carding fingers through you tousled hair. A lifetime of mornings greeting her wife was nothing but a blessing after pining for her so long. Here in your arms,Korra finally felt whole.

THEIR REACTION WHEN YOU ARE SORE THE MORNING AFTER

Zuko ☆

When you softly wince getting out of bed, Zuko is instantly concerned. "You okay?" he asks, brows furrowed.

After you admit to some mild soreness, he feels guilty for being so rough. He presses a gentle kiss to your forehead and murmurs apologies.

His touch turns even more tender and careful as he helps you move. Strong arms support you gently while fetching hot tea and warming up breakfast.

Over breakfast in bed, he massages you aching muscles lovingly. "I got carried away yesterday. Should've gone easier on you, princess." .

Zuko insists on a lazy morning cuddling,while rubbing your thighs gently , His embrace is protective and comforting, . "Let me take care of you today, love."

Extra kisses are peppered wherever they'll draw a smile from you. trying to ease any lingering pain or discomfort.

If pain doesn't go away, he won't hesitate to call in the doctor ,your wellbeing is top priority over anything else.

Zuko is perfect when it comes to aftercare, he loves you too much to see you in discomfort .

Aang ☆

When you wake with a soft groan, every muscle aching, Aang is immediately attentive.

"Sore, baby?" he asks gently, brows furrowed with concern. You nod stiffly and he clicks his tongue in sympathy.

He fetches a warm heating pad, gently spreading it over your sensitive areas and massaging any knots he finds tenderly.

"I got carried away last night, I'm sorry. Should've been more careful," he murmurs, pressing apologetic kisses to your shoulders.

You assure him it was more than worth the feeling. Aang still feels guiltily and responsible.

He draws a hot bath, helping you ease slowly in with a soft sigh. He helps you wash gently, kneading sore muscles under water.

Later, with medicine and rest, movement comes easier and pain goes away. He still hovers protectively, reassured by your smiles and kisses.

Sokka ☆

The next morning, Sokka notices you moving a bit stiffly while making breakfast.

coming up behind to whisper in your ear - "Sore, are we? I didn't take you for such a lightweight."

His lips curl in a smug smirk, eyes glittering with mischief. You glare and elbow him half-heartedly.

Later at lunch, he secretly feeds you extra protein and gives you a back massage to soothe your aching muscles.

"Sorry, I may have gotten a little carried away last night," he apologizes sheepishly, pressing gentle kisses to your shoulder.

That evening, he draws you a relaxing bath. "Let me take care of you properly this time," Sokka offers softly.

After, you two cuddle in bed as he feeds you snacks and rubs soothing lotion into your skin, eyes full of affection.

"You okay? We don't have to do anything else tonight, just rest," he assures you.

When you make love again more gently, he takes his time exploring and memorizing every inch of you with deep love and care

I have read your work and I find it amazing , so , if you don't have any problem , do you think we could see something of old Zuko and his reader wife ?I mean , them being a cute old couple in the eyes of the new avatar team . And maybe a bit of angst where the reader gets sick or injured and old Zuko is genuinely worried about losing his wife , partner and lifelong friend . The reader understands her husband's mixed feelings at the thought of her loss , but she assures her that if that is the case , she will look for him in each and every one of their next lives . In the end, it's just Zuko being weak and sweet to his wife.

As Zuko grew older and assumed the role of Fire Lord, his relationship with you evolved and deepened. you now had kids and grandkids and despite your ups and downs, you found a way to build a strong bond based on mutual understanding and support .

Zuko and you had new habits and traditions that were uniquely yours. you had a daily ritual of sharing breakfast together, sipping tea while discussing your plans for the day, spending time with your grandchildren, reading stories to them, telling them about your past adventures .

You two also liked taking slow walks through the palace gardens, holding hands and talking about your past adventures like how you met, often exchanged playful banter and inside jokes that only you understood. You enjoyed spending quality time together.

Bolin was especially fond of you, since he almost fainted from happiness after seeing you two.

Besides seeing you as legends they admired the way Zuko's eyes still sparkled with love and adoration whenever he looked at you, and the way your face lit up with a gentle smile in response. They find it cute how you two still acted like youthful couple.

They saw a love that had stood the test of time, and they longed for relationships as enduring and beautiful as yours.

Team found inspiration in your unwavering support for one another. They witnessed the little gestures of affection, like Zuko placing a gentle kiss on your forehead or you playfully teasing Zuko, and it reminded them of the deep connection and both love and friendship they should look for in their own relationships.

The time when you fell seriously ill was difficult for him. It shook Zuko to his core, and his fear of losing his wife, partner, and lifelong friend consumed him. The thought of a future without you in it felt unbearable, and he was overwhelmed and worried.

His nights were filled with restless sleep and countless hours spent by your side,talking and holding your hand , praying for your recovery. He couldn't bear the idea of a world without you.

Seeing how worried he was, you, even in you weakened state, reached out to comfort him.

You understood his fear and With a gentle touch, you assured him that your love was not bound by a single lifetime,that if the worst were to happen, you would seek him out in each and every one of your next lives. You promised to always look for him, to find him in the bond you shared, and to love him across time and space.

And yes, in every life time you two continued to fall in love, again and again.

WHEN YOUR KIDS ASK HOW THEY WERE MADE~

(Modern au,characters are aged up)

Your son and daughter were playing in the backyard when suddenly your son got a curious glint in his eye.

"Daddy?" he asked, tugging on Zuko's sleeve. "Where do babies come from?"asks innocently.

Zuko nearly choked on his water, not expecting such a question from your five-year-old son. He glanced over at you for help, eyes wide. You simply smirked in amusement. Clearing his throat, He replied gently, "Well, when two people love each other very much, they decide they want to start a family. So when Mommy and daddy held hands it created you and your sister in Mama's tummy."

Your son frowned, clearly not satisfied with that vague answer. "But how did we GET in Mommy's tummy?"

Zuko resisted the urge to groan. Parenting certainly wasn't easy,it had its challenges. He shot you another pleading look but you simply shrugged, exited to watch him field this tricky question. He took a deep breath. "Okay, here's what really happens. When Mommy and daddy hug each other very tightly at night, a magical seed from daddy's hugs goes into Mama's tummy and grows into a baby over time. But the hugs have to be special adult hugs."

The twins stared at him with wide eyes, then broke into giggles. "You and Mommy must do lots of magic hugs!" Your daughter said as you let out soft chuckle .

He sighed in relief cheeks flushed red, smiling awkwardly. "You could say that. Now who wants ice cream?" At his words their squeals of delight ended the discussion, thankfully. He mouthed a "thank you" to you, and you winked, appreciating how he expertly handled your curious children.
