This past month has been super duper stressful and I haven’t had a chance to think about Tumblr so here are some bullets for the month:
I’m glad I’ve found ways to cope with stress in a healthy way.
Seeing marginalized groups getting the support they deserve makes me so happy. All humans deserve to be treated with decency and respect.
I finished a book! Whoop whoop!
I saw a cat today while walking to pick my sister up.
I love drinking orange juice as soon as I wake up in the morning.
I saw a friend of mine I haven’t seen in almost three years a couple weeks ago. I miss them so much.
Last night I turned on some music and worked on some chemistry homework. Being able to kind of tune the world out at night makes me happy.
I’m thankful for the people in my life.
My english teacher told us that they always know its spring time when bluebirds start to flit around their pasture..
I took my dog to the sandwich shop the other day- she didn’t pee in my car so that was a plus.

I love finding a new song and not being able to get it out of my head for the next week
I gave my grandpa a portrait of his mother that I drew. He loved it.
I ran 8 miles for the first time today
I know some people hate it, but I love how the smell of burning wood just clings onto you.

I’m drawing a portrait of my great grandmother as a gift to my grandfather. I really really really hope he likes it.
Rainy days are just so perfect, especially if I am outside in a pretty well it area around 6 pm. The drizzle creates haze this effect around the light. I was outside near a street lamp and could hear the church bells ringing downtown.
I saw ALL the dogs today on my run.
I don’t feel guilty for finishing off a cake I made.
I recently joined Tumblr and my home page is filled with artwork. Everyone here is so talented :)

Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Any time I hear their voices I just want to dance.
I finished reading Pride and Prejudice today! I’m really proud of myself because I haven’t been able to find the motivation to read lately.
I love how smudged my glasses get after my dog starts licking my face.
My sister was really really happy today.
I didn’t feel as stressed today as I have all week long.
I love things that come in little tins, like mints. I just love them so much for no reason.
Every time I drop my little sister off somewhere, she always turns around and signs ‘I love you’ to me as she goes away. I won’t be happy when she eventually drops the habit but I’ll be thankful for all the times that she did sign to me.

I listened to music on the way to pick my sister up from school.
I made a cake today! Despite all its faults the flavor was still really good.
I’m getting near the end on one of my art projects.
My sibling told me they were glad I’m their sister.
I ran a 5k this morning without any pain.
It’s raining outside as I’m writing this. I love falling asleep when it rains.
I was really nervous about meeting someone but conversation came easily between the two of us.
I felt motivated today to get my work done. Taking short work breaks didn’t make me feel guilty.

1.19.2021 - 1.22.2021
Finding time to sit down this past week has been difficult so this list will be anything I can remember from the past couple of days.
Some communities are just so shamelessly supportive.
I love how people unconsciously copy the behaviors of others. Yesterday my teammate wouldn’t stop saying, “They’re cookin’ it.” Shortly after my coach started saying it..and then I started to say it.
I’m glad I’ve finally friends who really support me.
I competed in states!!
Sunscreen smells so good to me?
I was drinking some tea the other night and it reminded me of when I was younger.
I love running in the afternoons. After a while you start to notice people’s nightly routines. Sometimes it feels like they share I little piece of their life with me.
I saw a family of three (3) cats!
My mom is really forgiving.
I love the smell of bourbon and tobacco.

I love how comfortable some people are with sharing their experiences. Like when you look in the comments of a song on YouTube and so many people shares all their ups and downs with each other. It’s nice feeling like you have common ground with others.
I love lazy Sunday mornings.
Sea turtles have this “inherent” sense of home that allows them to return to the nesting grounds where they were born.
Having a sense of clarity after a really good cry is comforting.
Indulging in myself isn’t a bad thing.
I saw a family of three cats.
My neighbor’s dog looks like the one from ‘The Little Mermaid’.
The fact that Ada Lovelace, a pioneer in computer science, was supposedly absolute trash at gambling is so funny to me.

I am so very tired but I PR’ed by a whole minute today.
I saw my friend for the first time in two years.
The atmosphere of the town we were in was just so nice.
I saw someone drawing a puppy on their window.
I am surrounded by such a supportive community of people.
I had a lentil and avocado bowl. It never disappoints.
I saw my grandma.
The weather was nice.
I found a mint in my bag.
I found a party bead necklace in my car.
I tried Snapple for the first time.

Hot drinks on a cold day.
I saw some people walking in the park. They looked so happy.
The guy who owns the sandwich shop is so meticulous but I think it’s because he cares.
Thinking about tomorrow makes me so excited. No matter how it unfolds, it’s going to be a good day.

I love when older people get so happy indulging in “childish” things like cartoons.
I rode my bike tonight while listening to Miley Cyrus’ latest album. What an experience.
My dog got so excited today but I have no clue why.
I love my sister’s laugh.
I watched Pride and Prejudice while doing labs. Weirdly enough, it really makes want to actively seek out love in places outside romantic relationships.
Every time I hear ‘Non, Je ne regrette rein’ I think of my aunt.

I little later than usual, but sometimes you can’t help being swept up in the daily craziness.
Someone messaged me and I’m not ashamed to say I teared up a little.
I looked up from my essay to find the sunlight in my room just right, like in those really visually pleasing dorm blogs. My music was playing and the window was open. Moments during the day like this just comfort me so much.
My sister gave me a hug.
I haven’t seen my friend in-person in two years, but this weekend might change that.
I like watering my plant (its name is Winifred) and watching the stems perk up as the hours pass.
My dog went to the groomers the other day. She is so so so so soft.
I found a mint! In my bag!
I love working with pastels because of how colorful they make my hands.
My sister finally finished a puzzle she’s been working on for the past three nights.
I saw the absolute fattest geese in the world on my run.

I rode my bike for 4 miles.
There was a really fluffy dog on my route.
My sister is the best for heart-to-hearts.
I talked to one of my friends about a particularly interesting journal article.
I made yogurt bites about an hour ago. Hopefully they’ll be ready to go in the morning.
I’m about to work on my art project and either listen to Pride and Prejudice or a nature documentary.
It smelled wonderful in my kitchen.
I finished one of my long term projects today.

I ran 6 miles on a bike trail without hurting!
I got lunch from my friend’s fundraiser.
I took my sister out to get ice cream in town.
I met someone and we had a lot in common. We started talking about robotics and Java.
I listened to Clair de Lune on my vinyl record. Absolute heaven.
