One of the things that pisses me off most about this genocide and overall occupation is how many people say it's so complicated and there's so much nuance and there isn't one easy solution. This is one of the simplest things I have ever seen. Zionists invaded palestine in 1947-48. They have occupied it for 76 years while taking more and more land. They kidnap and torture and massacre Palestinians day in day out for those 76 years. They control every aspect of Palestinian life, including their water and medical care. And now they are committing another genocide against them. Where is the complication? What is hard to understand? "Well, Jewish people need a place where they won't be discriminated against" I absolutely agree. So make every country in the world safe for Jewish people. Fight against anti Semitism across the world. Don't commit a genocide and set up an ethnostate.

So I found Aaron Bushnell's reddit and went through his comments/posts. That young man was well read and stable as they can be. Nothing in his writings pointed to someone who was "unstable" or "brainwashed".

He held leftist and anarchist ideals. He belong to the ACAB subreddit. He recognized the evil of the US Military even though he himself was a part of it. He hated TERFS and called out fatphobia. He understood the dangers of white supremecy and the evils of capitalism.

He had a cat. He liked the show fleabag and played elden ring.

Apparently in his will he wants to leave any money in his name to palestinian relief funds. He was trying to find a new owner for his cat.

Rest in peace Aaron Bushnell. The world won't forget & we sure as fuck won't let the media paint you out to be some crazy conspiracy theorist who had no idea what he was doing.

I, like countless others, am feeling frustrated, angry, utterly heartbroken and next to hopeless because of all that has been happening to the beautiful people in Gaza. I'm not good with words, but anyone who has been following the events unfolding in Palestine knows that posts about Palestine are what keep it from dying on the public eye, and I'm glad to see that the engagement and content has been going strong even after 4 months.

All the people in Palestine ask of us is to never stop fighting for them.

Don't stop speaking up.

Don't stop protesting.

Don't stop boycotting.

Don't stop posting.

Don't stop sharing resources.

Don't stop engaging with any and all pro-Palestinian content.

I'm hoping against hope for Palestine, because the only other thing I could do would be to give up hope entirely. And that's nowhere near being a fucking option.

i’m fully aware that i said 2023 yesterday whoopsies my bad. i did end up tidying my room today but no laundry and no hair washing because of water but i’m hoping tomorrow will be the day!! i wrote nearly 2.5k worth of my own personal writing today and i’m super proud of myself because i haven’t written in a while, so this felt like a really good way to get back on the horse!! kinda just hit me that my philosophy essay is due tuesday so i really gotta finish that, that’s for tomorrow. i also need to take more photos cause those are both old unfortunately.

first day of autumn!!! had history this morning and honestly history is my least weighted class this year, there’s no exam and no matter how good i do it doesn’t contribute to university entrance scores so me and one of my friends just take the class as an excuse to hang out truly. we got a piece of homework for it today, and i will end up doing it though even though the class is just for the credits lmao. had a job meeting thing after my last class so i didn’t end up getting home until 5pm but then i worked on my essays and ended up reaching my goals!!! very excited for bed time truly.
