Here's another concept for Broken Horizon - a dragon pilot saddle! Ft. Alex as the model (and Riptide as the pilot, even if you can't see his face)
Modern saddles were jointly developed by dragons and humans post-war to make dragon riding safer and flying more precise, as regular reins and voice commands quickly became obsolete.
In these saddles the control sticks on the pilot's seat transmit inputs to the steering modules, which are then interpreted into nerve impulses for the dragon to follow. However they are not hard commands, and the dragon can still choose to ignore the impulses for any reason. This means that the dragon and the pilot must have an incredibly strong trust bond for the best performance.

Just so you know, tumblr is currently using any art posted onto tumblr for AI training and the only way to stop them from using YOUR OWN ART is to go into your settings and turn off 'third party sharing' manually so they dont have permission to do so (you have to do this manually on each of your blogs)
Hi hello! You got it a little wrong. Tumblr simply announced a data deal with partners, one of which is midjourney. They are not only selling art, they are selling access to all the images on the site, including art.
I turned on the setting the second that staff announced it. However it is VERY likely that tumblr's data has already been scraped, and I don't trust companies to retroactively honor the agreement for their training datasets, the toggle is probably not in any way stopping them. So I will keep adding obnoxious watermarks to my stuff anyways

IT'S FINALLY DONE! :D Here's an 8 page comic of one of the very very beginning scenes of The Hollowridge Disaster: the moment Knife and Adri meet Dianne.
Having done this comic means a lot to me for a myriad of reasons, but the main ones are that I really wanted to get better at paneling and do more interesting texture work.
And, this is also both a homage to my older HR comics, and my (successful!) attempt at getting back into making comics for this story, so it truly feels like I'm in my prime with it and it's finally somewhere that I am immensely proud of :] so please enjoy this scene in quite literally all it's glory!
[Disclaimer: this is a standalone scene (of a larger story), but it's not the beginning of a long form comic. Currently I have no plans of doing that, but I would like to do more of these short ones! ]

how do you get those squiggly textures in the bg and on the computer screen in your comic? love how texturey and grungy it looks!!
I'm fairly certain that's a texture brush I got from an artist on here, really sorry but I don't remember who at the moment :')
You can also make similar results with a rake brush or with a grid texture and distorting it!

Oh yeah!! I also realized I never posted this publicly, a short little thing I made in 2020 of Lena and Siege in their robot AU!
Lena's consciousness is trapped as digital data within Siege, copied right before a massive calamity befalls their facility. Siege's memory is damaged in the event, and so neither of them know what happened to them and must find out what led to everything

Hey, would anyone be interested in some fish serigraphy prints I made a couple years back in uni? I made them in sets so there's a few complete sets that come with a little box, and then i have some individual ones that cant be made into a set (both repeats and b-grades)
There's twelve designs total. Ten of them are of real irl fish and two of them are based on the monster concepts I developed for my comic DEEP
Ive had them sitting around for a while and i just keep forgetting to post about them constantly haha
They'd be 110eur per complete set (12 prints plus a handcut box thing) and 10eur per individual print (plus shipping for either case)
