Here's a dumb small thing that bothers me A Lot: When people call Steve "a guy from the forties." Steve was born is 1918, he's a twenties kid. He's a thirties teen. He enlists in 1942 and sinks Valkyrie in 1945, the forties had arguably the least impact on him in terms of social norms. He's really a "guy from the thirties" in that sense.
