Galesnjak, Croatia; satellite photo by Google Earth. This island, surrounded by golden sands, is located in the Zadar Channel between Zadar and Pasman Island. The 130,000 square yard islet came to prominence after its unusual shape was highlighted on Google Earth. The owner of the uninhabited island didn’t realize how perfectly heart-shaped the island was until he was swamped with requests from couples for permission to stay there, however, there is actually nothing on the island.
