Welcome To Ericson’s
Boarding School For
Troubled Youth
Chapter 1 - Welcome To An
Unfamiliar Place
In the unhelpful windy weather, you find no aid for your adventure, only the cold that sends shivers down your spine. The moon's glow is distorted by the chaotic tangle of neglected trees, their branches swaying in the wind. Moments like these were what made you wish you had someone to accompany you, yet you're relieved by the absence of approaching footsteps. All you hear is the rustle of branches colliding, as your weary feet drag along the ground and your eyes scan the monotonous scenery. Each tree merges into the next, and every blade of grass becomes an indiscernible blur.
Your neck strained, feeling rigid and mechanical as you lifted it, your eyebrows raising and your eyes sparkling with delight as you admired the brick wall secured by a white gate. Amongst the barricade, you spotted various pieces of furniture, clearly arranged by human hands. Just a few meters away from potential safety and companionship, you gathered whatever energy  you had within you left and trudged towards the structure. As of now, pain and exhaustion were irrelevant; all that mattered was reaching safety. Despite your weakening knees, you pressed on until they finally gave way, causing you to collapse.
Determinedly gazing up at the area ahead, your arms throbbing with pain, you forged ahead, inching closer to the gate. Exhausted and drained, you felt no surge of fight or flight instincts within you, only focused on seeking aid. Your eyes drifted to the moss-covered brick wall, catching a glimpse of a small figure darting elsewhere. Internally, you groaned at the thought of encountering more people. Despite wanting human contact after so long, you couldn't discern if they were friendly or hostile. Did it even matter anymore? Perhaps death wouldn't be so terrible; your body seemed to be surrendering regardless.
With a trembling hand, you reached out to touch the moss-covered brick wall, only inches from the gate, while voices on the other side bickered about a newcomer. The coolness of the wall offered aid to your red, bloodied palm as your grip on the machete in your other hand faltered, weakened beyond measure. Your body felt numb, devoid of sensation, and not in a comforting way. As the gate creaked open, the voices grew louder in argument. You patted and searched the ground around you, seeking your weapon in case of any danger.
The bickering quieted down as you watched through half-closed eyes, a silhouette approaching you, followed closely by another. As they drew nearer, you could tell that they were around your age. Relief washed over you at the prospect of encountering what could be friends or help, but you remained cautious, unwilling to let your guard down.
There were two of them, or at least only two visible to you. A boy with a dirty blonde mullet and a weathered letterman jacket crouched down, his expression unreadable, far from welcoming. Your gaze shifted to the girl beside him. She was shorter, dressed in a long-sleeved blue striped shirt with a dark orange vest over it, her attention solely fixed on him with a perturbed expression. "Marlon," she gritted through clenched teeth, "What if she's with-"
"Stop it, Brody. Quit with the paranoia," he warned in a firm yet hushed tone. Gesturing towards you with an open palm, he continued, "She's not a threat. Just look at her."
"Look at how pale she is, Marlon! What if she's bit? We agreed: no more mouths to feed. We have enough as it is..." Her voice trailed off, the last part quieter than before, if that were even possible.
"Do you see any blood or bites on her? No. She's fine." He stood up and walked toward the girl
"She's probably been out there long. Food and water aren't easy to come across. We'll get Ruby to check her for any bites and we'll go from that. You can't jump to conclusions like that. You're gonna freak everyone out." He reasoned, walking back towards you. And with a dismissive scoff, the girl retreated back into the gate.
"You think you can walk?" Your eyes met his that were a pale blue, and noticed the hand he had held out towards you. Your arm weakly extended out to grab his to which he pulled and hoisted you up on the mossy brick wall you were previously crouched by. His arm around your shoulders kept you from falling over but not completely, as there were moments where you almost did.
One step at a time, you and the boy crossed over the grass and eventually passed under the black gate that had seemed so distant just moments before. It screeched and squeaked as it closed behind you. With the boy's assistance, you were guided to a picnic table. The sounds of a gathering crowd reached your ears, their voices a mix of displeasure and curiosity, though some expressed concern and fascination. With Marlon's help, you lowered yourself onto the seat, utterly exhausted, and laid your head down.
You could hear him talking to who you assumed was a nurse of some sort about checking you for bites.
"Here, let me see," A girl with a deep southern accent said, walking towards you begrudgingly. She had a low tight red bun. Her warm and inviting presence emanated from her petite and nurturing figure.
She began inspecting your limbs, checking every inch of you for a bite with frantic movements. Her grip was firm, irritating the aching pain you already had surging throughout your body. Under normal circumstances, you might have pulled away, but in need of help, you remained still. With no energy left to resist, any attempt to move away would likely result in your falling over. "Nope. No bites." she judged. Turning over her hand to the backside and sticking it to your forehead. "Just exhausted." she remarked with sympathy before walking away, though not without mumbling "Poor girl."
Not long after, Marlon came back and was quick to ask what your name was. "Y/N. My name's Y/N." You mumbled with a raspy voice
"Well Y/N, nice to meet you, I'm Marlon. It's a good thing we found you when we did. You were in pretty bad condition. He said, gesturing to the lady from earlier.
"Yeah hun, you look starved. When's the last time you ate?" She asked caringly, with a hand on her hip.
You took a few seconds. Recently you were surviving off of whatever food you came across. And that hadn't been much. You hadn't had a proper meal in what felt like forever. You furrowed your eyebrows and mumbled, "I'm not.. I don't know."
"Well, that won't be a problem anymore hun." She grinned and patted your shoulder before walking off.
You looked around, figuring Marlon was off somewhere doing whatever. So you took it upon yourself to meet some new people.
You pulled yourself up from the picnic table. It was stiff and whatnot but it was definitely better than the floor. You were grateful they were giving you someplace to stay.. At Least for now.
There were tons of other picnic tables scattered around the place, you also spotted some people talking amongst others, you figured you would see what they were up to later. You looked around for a bit, taking in the scenery that was very much different and more entertaining to look at rather than the repetitive yet dull landscape that you were stuck gazing at for the past.. Who knows how long.
The brick pillars of the grand building were adorned with graffiti and overgrown weeds on its roof. As well as ivy and moss, creating a sense of age and history. It's boarded-up windows hinting at a forgotten past. Two sofas facing each other nearby. On the left, a cauldron bubbled with mysterious contents and was tended to by a short boy with tight black curls, hunched over as he stirred with a long wooden spoon.
You looked at the other people along him, Seven people, who looked like their ages varied, Gathered around picnic tables. To the left was a girl with short blonde hair, her long face exuding a casual air as she rested one leg on the seat, her arm slung over it. Her gaze, cold and inquisitive. With the way she was looking at you, You would've been long gone. Next to her sat a boy with what looked like a burn scar on the right side of his head, engrossed in scribbling something on a piece of paper, occasionally looking away to switch between a few colors. At the central table, two boys of different ages sat.
The elder, with dark brown hair swept to the side and broad shoulders, focused intently on carving a large wooden shiv. Beside him, a scrawny boy, inadvertently stared at you with a slightly agape mouth, trying to be as discreet as he could although it didn't work, because you were definitely creeped out. At the table furthest away from everyone else, sat in a backwards turned chair, a boy with a friendly face, dark brown dreadlocks, bushy but yet wellkept eyebrows and freckles scattered all around his face. He sat beside what looked like.. A chair leg?? with nails embedded in it.. He must've caught you staring for long because when your eyes trailed up, he was already looking at you, with curious brown eyes.
He wore a long light brown trench coat that contrasted with his eyes. You met his eyes again, he gave you a charming smile and you flashed him one back, not wanting to be rude.
"Hey Y/N, you fitting in well? Oh, and I'm sorry bout the staring. We haven't seen anyone like you in.. well.. forever" Marlon said, walking up from behind you with a slight chuckle when he saw you jump, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Oh that's fine, i don't care too much" You were hungry, and you didn't wanna be rude at all, but you had to ask. You hadn't had a full meal in a long time. "So.. when do you think the food will be ready?" You mumbled, looking off into the background.
"Oh, Uh" He looked behind him, looking at the boy near the cauldron. "Shouldn't be too long now, He's been cooking for a while" He stated, scratching his head. "You been out there long?" He question, shoving his hands back in his pockets
"Uh, nope. I had.. some people." You responded, looking at him. Which was a lie, you'd definitely been out here on your own for long. But, of course, you being you, didn't wanna embarrass yourself by saying that you had been barely scraping by these past couple of weeks.
"Nice. I take it you know how to defend yourself? Don't usually see people our age out in the wild. I can't imagine what it must've been like. " He stated inquisitively.
"Yep, I try. I wouldn't have survived this long if I didn't. You sound surprised though? It's definitely taken its toll on me." You said grinning
"Oh, no no no. Not at all. Sorry, I didn't mean for it to come out like that. Just curious, y'know?" He asked reasonably
"Mhm.. I get it" You mumbled, joyfully.
"What is this place exactly.?" You asked
"Well, you can probably tell this used to be a school. Now it's.. whatever we want it to be" He responded, shrugging, and trailing not too far off.
"And.. Who runs this place?" You questioned, careful not to sound judgemental
"Well.. I do" He grinned, putting a palm to his chest. "Probably sounds strange. Kids run by a kid. But, we do alright for ourselves. We got good walls, good defense and a great location. Kids are safe here. I make sure of it" He stated
"So.. there really are no adults.. At all." You asked, raising an eyebrow
"Nope. None. Some left us to fend for ourselves and others died. There's less of us all around. I got us a system in place that works well enough, Let me make it formal. Welcome to Ericson's Boarding School For Troubled Youth. You definitely look like you fit that description" He chuckled, turning back to face you.

STAY HIGH .01
📍Location-Perez Household
📷POV- Narrator (3rd)
Brooke sat on Maddy's bed with a small, foldable mirror in one hand while her other hand lined her lips with a walnut brown shade while listening to Maddy and Kat's conversation. "Do you think my areolas look weird?" Maddy asked, while looking at her boobs in the mirror.
"No." Kat responded while Brooke just hummed in agreement, moving onto her eyeshadow, gathering her brushes together.
"But like.. The edges though." Maddy spun a little round, glancing at her friends who weren't even paying attention to what she was saying.
"Maddy, they're fine." Kat said while Brooke responded, "Yeah girl, calm down."
Maddy scoffed and said "Fine like they're weird, or fine like nobody but me would notice what I notice?"
"Fine like shut the fuck up Maddy!" BB yelled from Maddy's bathroom which caused Brooke to stop applying her makeup and start laughing
"I'm disgusting. I literally look disgusting." Maddy said while  pulling her tank top back up while Brooke scoffed and Kat responded "Maddy, you need to snap the fuck out of this. You're hot as fuck and Nate's a loser. Who cares?" Kat said, looking up at her while Brooke hummed in agreement, finishing her makeup and putting the mirror back on Maddy's table.
"He's not a loser, he's a dick." Maddy defended him. "All dicks are losers... duh." Kat mumbled. Brooke stood up and grabbed her phone, walking into the bathroom that BB was previously getting ready in, no longer interested in the seemingly never ending conversation. She pulled up her periwinkle colored jeans and smoothed out the wrinkles on her satin, indigo shirt.
Brooke came back into the bedroom and sat down on the bed and grabbed her phone to get more details about the party that was being thrown later.
"Brooke! You ready?" Maddy yelled from downstairs, glancing at Kat and BB who were also confused on what Brooke was doing. "Yep! I'm coming, gimme a sec I'm putting my shoes on." Maddy shrugged and turned around, walking to the door while BB shouted "We're gonna wait for you in the car." while following Kat and Maddy outside, shutting the door.
                                    ***
Maddy slowed the car down, beginning to pull into the parking lot of the store that Fezco owned with his brother. A certain curly haired girl walked past  the car and as soon as Maddy parked, she squinted her eyes and leaned closer to where the familiar figure was coming from.
"Is that..?" Maddy mumbled
"Oh shit. Slow down." Kat told her, even though she was already parked.
"Dude that's Rue! Oh my god.." Kat yelled.
Brooke sat up and smiled. "Oh shit! It is her!"
"Wait. didn't Rue like.. Die?" Maddy asked, confused.
BB leaned back in her seat and said "Oh my god.. I hate ghosts." Making Brooke laugh and say "She was in rehab I think."
Kat stuck her head out the window and yelled, "Yo Casper! You want a ride?"
Rue turned around and started walking slowly to the car. "Why thank you."
Brooke moved over to the middle seat, making room for Rue while she opened the door and got in the car. "Hey Rueee" Brooke said, making Rue turn to her and grin lazily. "Oh hey."
Maddy pulled out the parking spot and continued driving while rap music played and the smoke from BB's vape and the blunts that were being passed around, filled the car.
Brooke looked down at her phone, getting a message from her best friend, Sienna.
                                          Sienna<3
Sienna<3
Hey bitchh, where u at?
Brooke
I'm omw rn. I'm in the car wit Maddy and evb else. This car loud asf
Sienna<3
Ok girl be safe
Love u. see u soon
Brooke
I will! Love u too.
Brooke shut her phone off and laid her head against the headrest behind her, growing a headache every time BB blew smoke in her direction. Brooke just kept calm and continued listening to the rap music playing throughout the car, thankful that the current situation would only be for a couple more minutes. When the girls arrived at the party, they all said their goodbyes and ran off inside.
Brooke planned to stay with Maddy, but of course that wasn't happening since she already walked off, probably to find Nate. Her eyes darted across the room, hoping to find Sienna, or anybody else that was familiar to her.
After walking around for a few minutes, Brooke grew irritated with how many people shoved into her, unapologetically. Looking through the crowd of people one last time, before eventually deciding that she would find Sienna later, Brooke walked to the kitchen.
She grabbed a red solo cup, glancing at all the bottles of alcohol and shot glasses that were scattered throughout the kitchen. Making sure her cup was clean, she walked over to the fruit punch bowl and made herself a drink, making a mental note to add some tequila to it as well.
"Hey Brooke! I've been looking for you!" Brooke's head snapped to where the voice came from, thinking it was Sienna but it was just one of her friends from school, Isobel. "Hey Isobel! You liking the party so far?" She said drinking from her cup.
"It's ight." Isobel shrugged. "You?" Brooke grinned before shrugging as well. "Yeah it's ight. You know where Sienna is?" She shouted over the loud music.
"Uhm.. The last I saw her, she was at the bathroom so try there." Isobel spoke before grabbing a bottle of alcohol and walking away, saying her goodbyes.
Brooke drank the rest of her drink, scrunching her face, looking down into the cup, only to see that it was clear. She put the cup down, rolling her eyes as she realized she just drank from the wrong cup. She shrugged it off, walking back into the living room, to find Sienna. Her eyes scanned over all the dancing figures before she found what she guessed
were the bathrooms, where a lot of people gathered.
Brooke looked at all the figures, not finding one with noticeably crimson colored hair, which caused her to turn around, figuring whatever was going on behind that crowded door, was most likely bullshit.
She walked around more, still trying to find Sienna before eventually giving up and sitting herself down onto an empty seat on the couch. Her eyes scanned the room, watching all the people who were doing their own thing before she turned her head to get a look at who she was sitting beside. Her eyebrows raised and when she saw Sienna
"Where the hell were you?" Brooke shouted over the loud music, causing Sienna to look at her and smile. "I was looking for you everywhere!" Sienna yelled before pulling her into a hug.
Brooke's smile faded away as she felt a tug on her bladder. "Hey, stay here, don't go anywhere. I gotta use the bathroom." Sienna pulled away from the hug and said "Alright, but be quick" she chuckled and walked off to the bathroom.

***
Brooke walked out the bathroom, shaken up from all the drama she had heard. She shrugged it off, walking back to the couch that she was previously at. She looked around for Sienna before eventually sitting down, figuring she just went to get a drink.
She grabbed her phone out of her bag and started scrolling on instagram, no longer having interest in this party.

She started scrolling through the comments before she felt the seat beside her sink down. She looked over and saw Sienna. "I told you not to leave!" Sienna laughed "I'm sorry, I was thirsty I had to get a drink. You wanna dance?" She yelled over the loud music. Brooke nodded as Sienna pulled her up and led her toward the middle of the living room, crowded with dancing figures.
Sienna and Brooke started dancing together but Brooke felt eyes watching her. Brooke continued dancing but shrugged the feeling off
Unbeknownst to Brooke, Ashtray was staring ahead of them. He watched as they grabbed onto each other, dancing and singing along with the music. He didn't know either of the girls well, but he did know that Sienna bought weed from him alot and Brooke just seemed.. Confusing.
He met her a couple times before. Sometimes she was dressed in sweatpants and a tee and didn't talk at all while looking at her phone and other times, she was dressed all fancy with her hair done up in some kind of way while being chatty.
He knew she came from a rich family and just figured she would be one of those rich, annoying, stuck up girls with an everlasting bitchy attitude. Maybe he was judging her based on what he heard about her but she just seemed like she was uninteresting and annoying.
Despite how Ashtray was staring her down, Brooke didn't notice it. But Sienna did. And just as she was about to tell Brooke, and suggest going over there, she heard a loud voice.
"Do you guys know who the fuck this is?" Brooke and Sienna stopped dancing and the music stopped. Everyone was staring at Nate Jacobs pointing at a girl Brooke had never seen before.
"Does anybody know who the fuck this is? Does anybody know who the fuck Jules is?" Nate yelled again, while everyone stood awkwardly, but silent. He walked away from the girl and towards the crowd of people around him and started pointing at someone "Anyone at all. You. Do you know who the fuck Jules is?" He turned around and started walking back towards her. Continuing their previous conversation, Brooke couldn't hear because she was too far away.
Nate started getting in the girl's face which obviously upset her before he yelled again "Yo is anybody here, friends with Jules? Anyone? Does anyone know who the fuck this bitch is?"
He got quiet again, waiting for someone to speak before yelling louder. "Somebody better speak up or this bitch is gonna get fucked up!" The girl, seemingly tired of Nate being an asshole to her, grabbed a knife
"Oh shit.." Brooke mumbled while Sienna hummed in agreement to her reaction. Nate walked backwards away from the girl, as if he was retreating from a bear. "You wanna fucking hurt me!?" She yelled, walking towards him. "No! I was fucking kidding!" He yelled, trying to calm her down, which obviously in this case, wouldn't work. "Back the fuck up! What the fuck is your problem?!" She yelled, getting him against a cabinet with a scared look as he eyed the knife in her hand. "Put the fucking knife down okay- It was a joke-" He scrambled, trying to find the right words.
"You wanna fucking hurt me!?" "No no no-" Nate mumbled, still eyeing the knife. "You have no fucking idea." She said, slicing her wrist after. Brooke gasped like everyone else and looked at Sienna, who was just shaking her head, at a loss for words.
"I'm fucking invincible!" Jules said, with her hand raised up, walking over to Nate and putting her blood on his shoulder. She backed up from Nate, putting her arm down and shouted, "By the way, I'm Jules. I just moved here!" She said, smiling and walking out the kitchen,
The music started back up and everyone continued dancing. Brooke nodded slowly, finding the new girl cool but somewhat weird. She then  turned to Sienna, who was already looking at her. "Okay then.." Sienna mumbled over the music. "The fuck just happened" Sienna shrugged in confusion

 The End Of The World
Rocky Balboa x GN Reader
Summary: During a zombie apocalypse, you meet the famous boxer, Rocky Balboa. Will you two survive during the apocalypse?
Just down the hill was the first store, a liquor store, its windows boarded with no light to be seen through it. The town had to have been occupied by no more than a hundred people at one point. The sun had just begun to rise to the left, and in the peach-toned light, the houses almost seemed cheery. As I stared intently at the liquor store, the sun's light beamed at the store's front door. Shattered and left hanging slightly open
There was no movement in any of the streets or houses, and the morning hours should keep any occupants asleep for at least another hour. I adjusted the large backpack to lay more comfortably across my back; the oversized thing had been my steady companion for the last five years, almost the only thing that had accompanied me through The disease. It had been named The disease after the entirety of the world fell in its wake, only taking a mere month for entire cities to be overrun. It had been like any other morning. The 5 am news had been droning the week's weather as I sipped from coffee that was too hot.
Suddenly, the forecast was interrupted by an image that read “Breaking News”. The audience was then treated to seeing a very shaky image showing a reporter slowly backing away from the scene before them. People attacked others in the street, biting and tearing with their hands, fingers, and teeth. Others were lying on the cement moaning, blood pooling around them.
It was said two weeks later that The disease had been transferred from the bat to the dog, and that dog had bitten its owner, thus beginning the end. And so the world came to be destroyed by what the people before had laughed at, zombies.
It had been five years since then, and I hardly remembered those easy, lucky times. I slowly began descending the slight incline towards the liquor store, hoping to salvage a few things before the sun was completely up. The backpack thumped comfortingly along my back which had already begun to sweat with nerves; going into towns no matter how small was always a risk.
The air was quiet except for the slight crunch of grass beneath my boots and the occasional rustle of leaves. I had to decide whether the liquor store would be my only stop or if I would risk finding other supplies further into town. A rattle to the right caught my attention, and I shifted onto the floor, dropping low. I felt the presence of someone behind me within seconds, and when I looked over my shoulder, there he stood. He wore a green hoodie with faded blue jeans and had short black hair, which barely flowed out his hoodie.
I'd been startled enough that it took me a moment to say something and just as I was, he beat me to it: "Y/N?" He said full of shock. I furrowed my eyebrows in shock... I'd never met this man. How did he know my name? Had we ever spoken face to face before? His eyes locked with mine, his somewhat tanned skin clean and smooth.
"I've come to help you," he answered simply, calmly. With his stare remaining strong and intense, he stepped closer to me. When I didn't move, he took a step forward, putting his hands up by his head in defense. "I ain't got nothin' on me, alright? I'm just tryna help, You know?"
For some reason, I found myself liking him despite knowing little about him. "Okay, yea." I whispered quietly. My heart was pounding in my chest as he kept moving towards me. I was ready to run if need be, but instead, he reached his hand out toward me. "You should probably get up, we have to leave fast. Almost the whole town is infected." I took his hand suspiciously and he pulled me up towards him. Crashing into his hard chest, I hear him say "Oops" I can hear his smirk in his voice so I back myself away and continue walking until I reach his truck. Once inside, he starts driving quickly down the road.
We drove for nearly twenty minutes before he spoke again, and even though I wasn't paying much attention to where we were going, I could tell we were getting close to the end of town. "So Y/N. Where d'ya wanna go?" He asked. "How do you know my name?" I asked confused. I haven't even known this man for an hour, let alone even know his name. Yet he knows mine.? Ya gotta name tag on ya. I'm Rocky. Rocky Balboa" He said. I look down at my shirt and realize he's right "That famous boxer?" I asked surprised. "Yea, that's me. Where ya headed?" "Maybe Harrisburg?" "Oh ok. That's where I'm headed too."
I explained my situation briefly before asking why he had been on his way there anyway. Why didn't he just drive straight to his destination? "No offense, but the city is dangerous. More so than you might realize. So we're gonna travel together in the hopes of staying alive, ya know?" I nod with surprise before saying "Oh. Well, that's smart of you, I mean you're kind of odd. But yeah I agree. Maybe if we stick together and watch each other's backs, we'll make it through all of this..." I said before he stopped at a red light. Before I knew it, he turned to me and asked "Where are you staying?" I frowned, remembering my hostel from last night.
"Actually, I’m not sure." He looks at me for a moment before nodding "Well we can find a place together. Maybe a motel?" "Yea," He continued driving, and soon after, I dozed off.
                                         Timeskip
We finally made it to our destination and went inside. I fell asleep almost instantly.
The next morning, I woke up feeling warm. It was like waking up from a good nap, which I suppose it was. Soon, I heard footsteps coming toward my room, followed by the door opening. Before I could look up, he starts talking. "Come on downstairs, breakfast is ready." I stumble out of bed and get myself ready before going down to the kitchen. I sat at a table that had a small stove across from it and placed myself against the wall near a window, while two cups of coffee were poured. "This is how I make coffee," He stated proudly. As I take a sip, I can see him smiling at me. "It's not bad. It's kind of strong, but maybe just add a dash of cream next time."
When we finish eating, we go and sit on the couch. A hard and loud bang brings me out of my thoughts as Rocky stands up to get his gun. He motions for me to stay quiet as he walks towards the door.
                                         Cliffhanger :)

Rocky Balboa x Female Reader
Summary: Rocky notices that Y/N has been acting unwell and soon after he discovers that they’re gonna be parents soon.
The urge to vomit woke me up, so I ran to the bathroom and threw myself over the toilet, emptying everything I had eaten last night. After about 5 minutes, I felt better and laid back down. I hear the front door unlock after a few seconds of laying and footsteps coming closer to the door. “Yo Y/N, You ok?” With my eyes still closed, I hummed. I felt the place beside me on the bed sink down
“Y/N you sure you ok?” After a few seconds of silence, I felt the bed lift up and footsteps leading toward the door. After about 10 minutes on my phone, I doze off. I wake up to the bedroom door opening. I sit up, and in the frame of the door, I see Rocky with a tray of food and a cup. “What’s that?” I ask. Rocky walks over to the opposite side of the bed and says “Yo I figured you’d need this. You seemed a little sick earlier you know?” He sits down on the bed and hands
the tray to me. “Thanks. How’d training go?” I said, looking at what he made me. “Oh you know, Paulie overworking me. The usual.” he shrugged. Again, I had the urge to throw up so I pushed the tray off of me and rushed to the bathroom and hurled myself over the toilet once again. I heard footsteps rushing toward me and felt Rocky lifting my hair up into a ponytail. After vomiting, Rocky picked me up and laid me back in bed. After about 5 minutes of
laying down and watching tv, Rocky fell asleep and so did I. I woke up from the movement of Rocky getting up. About 30 minutes passed by and I heard the front door unlock and then open. The bedroom door opened and I open my eyes to see Rocky with a bag of something that looked kind of pink. He walked over, handed the bag to me, and said “Just in case you know?” I opened the bag suspiciously and saw... Pregnancy tests. I looked up at him with a deadpan look on my face. He shrugged, picked up the food tray on the bed and left shortly after. I contemplated whether I should take the test, and not long after I stood up and walked to the bathroom

I hear a low beep coming from my phone letting me know that the 3 minute timer is up. I debate to myself on whether I should get Rocky to see the test with me. I decide not to and I walk over to the test where I saw two blue lines. I scratch my head and scramble around
looking for the box the test was in just to be sure of what I was thinking was right. I looked on the back and saw that two lines are positive. That confirmed my thoughts so I speedrun over to my computer and search up “Are false positives rare?” After getting my answer I rush downstairs and find Rocky in the kitchen sitting down, rubbing his hands together as if he was nervous. He looks up at me and says “So.. uh. what happened?” He asked nervously. I responded with “It was positive” He jumps up and says “Oh wow! That’s great we’re gonna be parents!?” I feel a smile creep up on my face and I start nodding my head. “Oh I bet hes gonna look just like his dad!” he said with a smile “What makes you think its gonna be a boy? Don’t you think it’s a little too early to assume the gender? I ask raising an eyebrow. “Not at all” He said
