Noir

also known as The Little Death.

he is the King of Death and Love. he is married to Naga, the King of Creation, and Cherub, the King of History.

it is said, when you feel the dread of immense love to the point you want to die, Noir is there watching you.

he enjoys traveling from world to world, observing Naga's creation and returning to tell him all about their adventures.

one may wonder, how did he obtain the powers of Love? Phoenix, the original King of Love, sunk into a deep madness long ago. she was killed by Noir and he took her powers as his own.

i'm still surprised people remember me at all, since it's been so long. i really appreciate it.

last year, i had to put a lot of hobbies on the backburner due to irl stuff. but things are settling down now. hopefully i will be able to post more this year.

Asaka

a Prince of Miracles

although he can grant any wish, he is most popular with students and young adults. they will usually pray for exams to be delayed or cancelled.

he has a gentle demeanor and is easy to please. he often takes sweets as offerings, though his favorite are slugs and snails.

before becoming a Prince, he was actually a human. he loved hunting for snails and slugs as a hobby. however he grew deathly ill and was bed ridden for many months.

his dying thought was that he wanted to go outside one last time. and so the King of Whimsy appeared before him and granted his wish. he became a Prince of Miracles.

no story this time, this is just a random character i draw every Halloween lol

i drew this in 2021 i think. i’ve been trying to recover from burnout, so i didn’t draw anything this year.

older art of him from 2020. even though it doesn’t feel like it, i have to remind myself that i’m always improving.

[ Lihua ]

a reaper who works under the Colorless Witch. he is often seen as emotionless and lethargic, but deep down he is kind and caring. he has a serene aura which allows him to quickly calm down angry or distressed spirits.

before Lihua became a reaper, he was a poor, miserable lumberjack. one day, there was a terrible accident where a tree fell down on a young girl. he tried to save her, but they both ended up getting crushed under the tree.

Lihua was fated to survive and the girl would die. when the Colorless Witch came to take the girl’s soul, Lihua begged to be taken instead. he no longer wanted to live and his life would be better traded for the life of someone with a brighter future.

as a result of altering fate so drastically, Lihua had to make a pact with the Colorless Witch and work as a reaper until his debt was paid off.

[ Colorless Witch ]

a fairy born from the hallow of the World Tree. he has a gentle and playful temperament.

the Colorless Witch pioneered the art of blood healing magic among the fairy folk. although blood magic is considered a taboo art by other races, fairy folk have no issues practicing it due to being near immortal.

the Colorless Witch was highly renowned across the worlds and passed on his knowledge to others. however, blood magic is not a cure all and those who were fated to die, would still pass on. it was especially heart breaking for him to watch the young ones die.

and so, the Colorless Witch stepped down from his teaching position to become a death god. now he watched over the souls of children who have died from illness or accidents. he makes sure they are happy in the afterlife and cultivates their souls until they are strong enough to be reborn again.

here’s an old sketch i drew a while back. i made him really cutesy, but decided to make him more mature looking to branch out a bit more. i didn’t really have an outfit for him until i took an interest in Chinese traditional dress/costumes.

[ the white fox ]

on an off beaten path, there is a dilapidated shrine. rumors say it is haunted by a mischievous fox spirit. often times the shrine is used for tests of courage among children and teens.

as long as visitors are respectful, the fox allows them to come and go as they please. when he is in a good mood, the fox will play a little prank on the visitors. usually a creak here, a bump there, or soft laugh is enough to scare people off. though the fox's favorite prank is tricking visitors into walking around in circles. watching them get lost and panicked is quite amusing.

if there is a particularly attractive male, the fox will play a different sort of prank on him or visit him in the middle of the night for some fun.

he never got a name, but i call him Sleeping Prince. on the day of his wedding to the Captain of the Royal Guard, he was kidnapped by an evil witch and was thrown into the Underworld. there, the Prince fell into a deep slumber and dreamt about his beloved for a century.

the Captain went on a journey to find the Prince and was tricked by the witch. his soul got sent to Hell where he was chained up and tortured for a century. however, the Captain kept hope and finally escaped. when his soul climbed up from hell and touched his long forgotten corpse, the Captain let out a cry that pierced the heavens and reverberated through out the universe. finally, the Prince woke up to the sound of his beloved’s cries and journeyed out from the Underworld to the living world. now they roam around in hopes of reuniting with each other once again.
