From this point forward, Sinistra HQ will be a private group and invite only! We will still be holding plot drops, events, and the like - but our rules will be much more lax. That means, we’ll be getting rid of the activity limit and character limit altogether! 

For those who may have been a part of the group before and have expressed interest in returning, you’re more than welcome to join again - we’d love to have you. For those who may stumble across this blog and find yourselves wanting to join but unsure if you’re able, just shoot us a message and we’ll discuss the possibility! 

That being said, those who are invited do still need to fill out our application form just for organizational purposes but it doesn’t need to be quite so formal. 

Also, to note - our mystery from the welcoming ball should be resolving soon, so keep your eyes peeled for a plot drop post about that!

Yes, you can apply for two characters right away. All members are welcome to up to four total characters with the ability to start off with two right away. After two weeks of consecutive, good activity, may a member apply for their third. After that, another two weeks and they may apply for the fourth and final character.

* THE SHADOWS ASKED :   Are the deans listed anywhere?

Yes !  They should be listed on the masterlist as part of their role at the academy. Right now we have the Dean for Werewolves and Witches taken so only the Vampire one is open at this time. 

* THE SHADOWS ASKED :   Is there any specific kind of character people would like to see?

We really mean it when we say we would love any character you want to bring for us. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of help but we want to encourage you to go wild, be creative, and bring a muse you are so genuinely excited about. 

We have a few wanted connections as well, you can check those out here, for any ideas as well. 

That being said— We would love to see more students, especially werewolf and vampire students. A funny idea we’ve made jokes about but I personally would love to see is an ancient vampire who kept putting off their studies at Sinistra and now is forced to be here at the academy by their House or risk being Houseless. Maybe a human who sought out the truth of the supernatural and ended up becoming a werewolf after provoking one on a full moon. Another idea that I had but I’ll never write: A witch professor who was turned (either into a werewolf or a vampire) and how has to attend this new term as a student to learn their new abilities and has to come to terms with losing their magic.

CONGRATULATIONS MINA ! lovie soderstorm, with the face claim of jenny boyd has been accepted.      

There is an announcement that every student and staff member receives on the morning of June 21st, 2022 

Due to the unfortunate events that occurred at the academy’s Welcoming Ball, our usual Solstice Ball will be cancelled in favor of a free day. This means no classes or obligations for our students! However, please be aware that classes will resume the next day. 

However, at the point where the sun is highest in the sky, every person on campus begins to feel.. a bit different. A spell from an unknown source has been cast on every new blood as an attack. 

Magi will lose all ability to practice magic. Lethargy or depression will be common. 

Houseless vampires will feel as if they might be dying or rejecting the turn. Blood will turn their stomach, though they will be able to walk in the sun. 

Omega (turned) wolves will be unable to shift at night. Their heightened senses will be dull, but their anger continues to build with no relief in sight. 

OOC NOTE: The spell effects will last until June 26th, 2022!
