Some more expressions I finally finished up. The trifecta is finally complete! These were extra fun (ough) because her eyes and nose aren't visible with the helmet & it's one hell of a challenge trying to get a feeling to read with just the mouth and head angle

Fucking around with character design because I haven't drawn for a full month, and I was starting to go insane.

What if she was one of those proper awful incomprehensible angels? I kind of brush up against the idea in canon but I thought it would be fun to push that even further. Will I use this design for anything? Lol. Lmao. Smiles and bats my eyelashes at the camera. Anyway!!

3. a specific color that gives you the ick?

I think as I’ve gotten older I’ve drifted away from eyebleed cyan. When you first start doing digital art it’s such a seductive color. It’s so unnatural, unseen in nature and inaccessible to human craft and imagination for centuries. A color that can only exist in the pure light of our machines.

Once you give artists this forbidden hue and we can’t control ourselves. Who among us has not succumbed to the temptation of giving a robot its cold electric stare, a technicolor wolf its matching radioactive tongue, an alien with its unwordly flesh and blood, forbidden lovers bathed in those equally forbidden magentas and cyans.

It is a color of the digital age, but as the digital became the normative rather then the escape, cyan has become as elementary as crayola red and green. As I’ve gotten older i began to loose touch with cyan in favour of its more subtle and earthly kin. The soft green water of a white sand beach, a rare bird’s spark of radiant blue, the dazzling turquoise stones.

i have failed you my dear old friend, will you ever forgive me.

Scary five toed bird talons for gripping and carrying people off. It makes her very good at grocery shopping also. Probably.

Much smaller arms so she can actually take off in this form. Can she fly much? Uh. Sure lmao. Does she look like this often? Not even close, this is one of the worse outcomes for her :) but it's okay. Goddess loves her.

The helmet fits over her bald head, I need to do more work on it on the side to get the ideas I want across harder, but it's permanently blank now.

Stretchy neck. It's always been like that, I just don't draw it much? Should do that more 🫡
