The Little Gospel of the Holy Name

The Little Sachet, or the Gospel of the Holy Name of Jesus, is a Roman Catholic devotion based on a sacramental that, according to tradition, was mystically revealed by Jesus Christ to a Discalced Carmelite nun, Sister Marie of St Peter and of the Holy Family, in 1847, in a monastery in Tours, France.

It consists of a tiny leaflet on which are printed the short Gospel of the Circumcision, which mentions the giving of the name “Jesus”; a picture of Christ; the initials IHS representing the Holy Name of Jesus; and some invocation together with the lines, “When Jesus was named — Satan was disarmed.” This leaflet is folded into a small square, enclosed in a small pouch, and distributed to the faithful, who are encouraged to frequently say: “Blessed be the Most Holy Name of Jesus without end” while wearing it.

Candlemas is often referred to as the feast of “Matka Boska Gromniczn”, which translates as “Our Lady of the Blessed Thunder Candle”.

The FEAST of THE HOLY INNOCENTS

“Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall declare your praise.”

Daily Meditation: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1

There are many messages in this day. Exile and liberation are part of the story. Greed and lust for power are also part of the story as the innocent suffer and die as the result of injustice.

It is difficult to look at but this is a day to remember how injustice works. It is important for us remember that however horrible this scene is, the injustices and violence of today are immeasurably worse. Ultimately, Jesus himself will die at the hands of the unjust, to stand with us, in injustice, so that no one will ever need to suffer injustice.

If we say, “We are without sin,” we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing. 1 John 1

Closing Prayer: Lord of Justice, it is so easy for me to drift away in my own life, caught up in my own problems and distractions. Let me always remember those who suffer so much in this life who are victims of violence and abuse, hunger and fear and the great number of HOLY INNOCENTS WHO ARE NOT EVEN ALLOWED LIFE!.

Let me remember that “those people” are my brothers and sisters and need me. Give me the faith to pray for them, the resources to support them, and the strength to work to make their lives better.

Holy God, help me to pray for the end of Abortion throughout the world and to pray for the vast number of perpetrators of this immense crime of hate.

May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.

A wish for some Nendoroid Re-Release PART 2! - Update!

Well, if anyone say my previous post would see that I’m wishing for a re-release of the nendoroids Mo Dao Zu Shi Wei Wuxian #1068 & Lan WangJi #1109. I noticed that GoodSmile is currently re-releasing recent & older nendoroids so I know they could do this. I emailed them and got a very hopeful response.

Here’s my question & their reply :

A wish for some Nendoroid Re-Release PART 1!

Well it’s super seldom I personally post anything, but I thought I’d at least write this here. If anyone knows how to get this message across to GOODSMILE that’ll be awesome, but we need to start a petition or something requesting the re-release of both Mo Dao Zu Shi Wei Wuxian #1068 & Lan WangJi Nendoroids #1109! They sold out quite fast I personally failed to grab them and now who ever sells them has them at the most insane prices it’s just so wrong! T_T

I’m talking about from the $40-$60 something price range, I’ve been seeing them about $250 or $300+ EACH! So really, no. Just no. But I’ve noticed GOODSMILE is re-releasing lots of nendos they had before so my hope is that if we got the word out to them of our interest, maybe we’d be lucky to get their attention and they’d re-release these two again! If anyone has any ideas to get something like this going, that’ll be awesome.

Sorry for the rant but it’s good to get that off of my shoulders.

Super Legit Hector Theories

I made an Isaac theorey post, how could I not make a Hector one??

I love Hector (maybe even more than Isaac, because he’s me, also he also has like 5 dragons in my game, I basically turned Curse of Darkness into my ‘run around and scream while my dragons carry me the entire way’ game, so I’m not gonna lie), I need to gush about him, too!

Now onto my theories:

-Hector will pet a cat

-Hector will cry over a dog

-I’m gonna cry over Hector

-I LOVE HIM SO MUCH PLEASE HELP I AM GOING TO CRY

-He will hit the ground with his hammer and raise A LOT of baddies from the dead, it’s gonna be awesome

-He will not smile ever this whole season because his life SUUUUCKS QAQ

- I can’t beleive he’s canon, Konami only cared about revisiting him and Isaac with stupid slot machines, he wasn’t even in Harmony of Despair. I AM SO HAPPY THAT THE ANIMATION CREW CARES ABOUT HIM LOOK AT HIM. LOOK AT ME. HOLD ME IM GONNA BAWL MY EYEBALLS OUT WITH PURE JOY QAQ
