I've had a few lovely messages in my inbox lately telling me how much ppl like my fanfic—which, blushing—and saying they hope I write more. And I will, I promise!

But the last six months have been consumed with a trip to the US for a month, and writing four back to back frat boy novels in the Alpha Tau series with @thisdiscontentedwinter

The Amazing Alpha Tau Project is a lighthearted contemporary m/m romance series containing college shenanigans, frat boys who discover new things about themselves, and first times with guaranteed happy endings.

in all honesty? It was meant to be just one book, but then people really liked them and we have too much fun writing together and we also have zero impulse control, so after a planning session at LA airport over cocktails, one book became became four, and here we are!

Sleep? Days off? I don't know them.

Deadlines? I know her, and she's a bitch.

This week - a checklist

Wrote 8115 words so far (still got Sunday to go)

Formatted 2 graphic novels and ordered proofs

Sent 1 novel back to the editors for final eyes check

Lined up the proofreader for that novel

Sent another novel to the editors for line edits

remembered to update my website for once

sent a newsletter to ARC readers

formatted ARC copies of another novel to send out to ARC readers on Wednesday

formatted the free short story that goes with that novel

added some products to my Threadless store

funnily enough, did not vacuum my house, lol.

This month is gonna be a busy one!

So far in 2024

The thing is, writing doesn't *feel* like work, even though it definitely is, which means sometimes I feel like I haven't done much. So it's helpful sometimes to look back and see what I've done so far this year! This is a reminder to myself that so far this year I've:

Written for three months solid, resulting in writing somewhere around 120-130k in conjunction with @thisdiscontentedwinter

Released and promoted book two in the Alpha Tau series

Written the next two books in the series back to back for May and July releases

Edited one of those books and proofed the other

Written three free novellas as promotional material

Signed up with Podium to have the Alpha Tau series released on audio

Had The King's Delight released in Italian

So if you ever think you're not achieving anything, sometimes it's helpful to take a moment. Shit gets done when you're not looking!

I've been a busy bee 32,448 words written in three weeks and Imperfect skin closer to finish. I love it when my characters are chatty and want their voices heard but I must admit I may need a long nap when I finish. The 14th of this month will be my one-year anniversary of releasing Viking Ink which is amazing, and I wouldn't have gotten here if it hadn't been for the amazing support of the Bunny Squad and @thisdiscontentedwinter and @bunnywest

Each novel in the Tewsbury Daddy series is about a separate daddy and boy, exploring not just the joy of little. middle spaces, but separate kinks and relationship hurdles for each pairing. Readers links bellow
