Josh, mix (2 y/o), 31st & Broadway, New York, NY • “I was visiting family in Kentucky, and he was a neighborhood stray. He was very playful, and my niece was like, he’s so cute, and I said he was joshin’ around. He sighs a lot, like a person. He has tons of energy – we’re on a five mile walk now, we got two miles this morning, and he’s getting two miles tonight. He’s very caring – the moment you walk in, if you had a long day, he’ll come and see if you’re okay and stay with you.”
I was ignoring his request for play so he shoved the ball between my leg and the counter. And then he has the gall to look at me with such an adorable expression.
Easy hike at a trail I used to do with Hank all the time. Hallow did it a couple times as a puppy. It’s an off leash trail close to the city so it’s typically busy- hallow hasn’t been there in years. Wasn’t too busy today and she had a great time.
it would be a bit easier if i knew what dogs the breeder i emailed is planning to breed cuz im still waiting on that. i just really liked what i saw from them and their goals/ideals of the breed, but im starting to get a bit impatient and mildly worried that theyre either going to postpone it way far ahead or cancel, or that the dogs wont be something i want a puppy from.
if the only thing i had to deal with regarding getting a puppy was self doubt i might make it out, but oh my god theres so much going on and yet nothing at all and im bad at making decisions
