I feel like when people talk about ‘supporting beginner artists’ what they actually mean is ‘supporting young beginner artists’. And I think we should remember that an adult who’s starting to draw for the first time is just as much of a beginner as a 13 year old that’s doing the same. They aren’t going to be magically better at art just because they’re older, because they are still a beginner. And that’s okay.
