Tw: Suicide mention
Here's another art work of Spunch. This time it's official. Like, official to the Screen Universe lore.
In the story line, his show declined in writing and so the internet realm classified the early and later era as "Old and New" SpongeBob. The former being loved and missed dearly by the internet, and the latter being, eeerrr, overdramatic and despised by the Internet Realm.
Of course, both "SpongeBobs" are played by the same eldritch bearer, from the start until the present day. But... The internet realm doesn't know that.
A particular mouse king wants the sponge lord dead for a mysterious reason. But it is against the law to kill another mascot with his own hands outside of war. So he took matters to another direction. He tried to drive him to suicide.
Think about it. It'd technically not be his fault if the victim does it with his own hands.
To pull this off, Mouse King cast illusion spells to speed up SpongeBob's depression process. One of them is making him see manifestations of the two personas the Internet Realm imposes. Both to make him feel guilty about "making his show shit and never be good enough ever again" and feel horrible about himself.
Shadow ink demon represent "new SpongeBob", which makes the bearer guilty of "turning his show into what it become" and to remind him of his failures/being guilty for receiving the Weblings' abuse.
The light thing represents "Old SpongeBob" and what it could have been if the bearer "wasn't a failure" or what successes he could've yield.
Of course, the mouse king wants to use the sponge lord's body for nefarious purposes
Tldr: Mickey wanted SpongeBob's corpse for a ritual spell experiment. So he tried driving SpongeBob to suicide by guilt tripping him into thinking his show's temporary downfall amongst other horrible things happening to him was his fault (and because killing him personally is super illegal). Almost succeeds, but failed.

"I, too, have a family, Ben. That is why I am putting mine first!"
"I shall grant every child of Walt a happily ever after, and NO ONE CAN STOP ME!"
"I am enjoying it alright, enjoy bestowing divine retribution upon thee!"
They're all said by the main villain of the paracosm. It's Mickey Mouse by the way.
Click here for all the lines' respective context ↓
Ok, Imma explain the context for each line.
The first line is from a scenario where Mickey crystallize Ben Drowned into stone or a gemstone statue. He believes in an urban legend about hyper realistic blood enhancing one's magic powers and skills. That's why he's actively hunting them and sacrificing them. In this scene, Mickey whispers the line into his ear because Ben said something about having a (Found) family as well as some pets.
The second line is from when I explored a not finalised scenario for a bit where Mickey tries raising Walt Disney from the dead one more time but at the expense of causing an apocalypse. At this point, he's very deranged. So deranged that he went out of his way to kill the rest of Fictional kind, and willingly end the Realm, all because he believes he's doing the good for his people or his cult even though he's doing the exact opposite.
Now, for the third line... Hear me out.
So basically, in the scenario where the last line is from, Mickey was harassing and trying to kill Lusamine just because she's doing her job right in her first live performance. It was from a chapter I wrote too. Girlie went from calling Mickey a hateful trainer and playing the role, to punching the royal live audience member in the face in order to survive in a span of about 13-14 pages. Mickey is a raging Rolcist, someone who hates other actors/Fictionals of a certain role, and has a track record of attacking and killing other video game villain actors in the past. He also couldn't easily separate reality from the act, especially when the delusions get really bad. Hence the incident...
Edit: Further context: Everyone's an actor. You could say that it's an Actor AU that gone sideways and horribly wrong.
Edit two: Fuck, I sent this in the wrong blog. I thought I was in my casual one. Oh well, it is technically official information of the paracosm after all.

Reposting this here because it is a thing that happens in the paracosm sometimes or a lot.

Yes, SpongeBob uses Nihilego Lusamine as a mode of transport, for combat, and tag teaming. He's an absolute menace for it. Other paras, especially those who aren't used to this sort of thing, freak out over him just casually doing this.
Sometimes these two are up to occasional shenanigans just because they can. Dw, Actressmine is fine in this form because her bosses/creators had to retake the fusion scene a lot, and she had to work with Nihilego a lot, so she's used to it.
Ngl, this is cute, endearing, and cursed at the same time. You could say that it's blursed.

Lusamine, please go back into the meat suit—
More shit in the under cut
Fictionals are these entities who are made solely for entertainment. To do that, they must wear the suits of their characters and bear their names to, in their creators' words, make their characters' existence seem "believable" or "real". While it doesn't seem too bad at first, there are some whose personas are... A tad too unpleasant to live as.
This one is very unfortunate enough to get assigned as Game Lusamine and got a lot of flake for it. Too much in fact...
Edit: I had to clarify that it's the game version this Fictional has been assigned with. She got unlucky because of how her home territory treats their villain actors, especially the ones like her.

Identity, but it's the paracosm MC himself
Thought it'd be fitting and interesting to make a parody version of this Still MV with both Sponges. This was supposed to be for a different para, but she already got an artwork before this one.

Reposting this here because while the art is technically not canon, it's still part of the lore that they wear meat suits of the characters and stuff. Not only that, but it'd hurt like hell if they completely escape their flesh, so the whole ordeal is not a good idea from the get go...
BE NOT AFRAID

Tw: Mild body horror
Don't mind them, they're just feeling a bit silly at the time.
They're similar to a body snatcher now that I think about it but without the snatching. They're incased into the meat suits of the characters and this would be what they look like if they get out.

"Happy... Birthday?"
There is an actress, who's been recently born into the Universe of the Screen. Just like those before her, she's been dropped into the Fictional Realm, where actors rest after long hours of work.
From the start, she's been doing well, a kind Sponge Fictional took her in and let her stay for a time being. That is, until the empire found her and finally put her to work.
The unfortunate actress, so young, so naive, never knew what she had coming. Her creators bestowed her such a heavy role, a mask of a monster. At first, she didn't know how bad could it be. It was just a character right? This was all just a game of pretend... Right? After all, she was made for this role, literally created for it. Surely it can't be hard. How bad can it be? It's just some woman who cares about animals and lost a loved one.
However, society said otherwise.
The empire hated her for it. Despise her for the role she plays, and for serving her purpose. They declared time and time again that they hated her existence.
"I'm an actor, just like you guys!" she said.
They stay away. They push her away, side eyed her and everything.
"I'm not like her, see?" she said once more.
Rolcist thrown things at her, hurled insults at her. After a long day of work, another Fictional wished she was dead, and another, and another.
Monster, lunatic, a deluded. The list of insults went on.
"... I'm just an actor," she pleaded.
"I was doing my job," she sobbed.
The void of hatred stared at her.
"What did I do... What did I fucking do..." She glared at her own hands. Hands, or rather, gloves of an abuser, a killer, a beast.
She tried to escape all of this, but couldn't. Or rather she wouldn't do it. For at least one Fictional cared about her.
On the fateful release of her first project, a mouse Fictional came by. He was, and still is the powerful leader of a far off kingdom. One they called the Disney Kingdom. For someone so small, so puny, he can pack a punch. Prior to all this, he's already walked through the path of blood and is still treading through it.
There he stride for his next victim, the Villainess.
For an actor who claims to know what's real and what's an act, the mouse can't help, but kill those of the villain role on sight. Every ounce of suffering and pain they been through in his hands was delicious to him.
Just as her part of the act reaches to its grand finale, the mouse shows his power. Blood spilled. Ice shards were erupted, jellyfishes were stabbed and so was her designated henchman. The actress playing as her daughter was trapped in his ice from the waist down. The actress, now in the corner, curled up into a cocoon in the hairstyle bestowed by her creators.
And so, the mouse approaches.

Okay so this was supposed to explain how the fuck it all led up to what's happening in the art, but ended up doing a little info/lore dump on what the fuck this Lus has going on in the daydreams as of late with probably a poor attempt of adding in some short storytelling elements. There's more to what's going on with both her and Mickey, but that'd take a while to cram it all into the post. So yeah.
Tldr: Actress has to play evil Poké waifu with a Jellyfish addiction, becomes besties with SpongeBob, gets an existential crisis about the nature of her role/persona because society shits on her for it (and Spunch taught her about morals too early), tries to kill herself to escape her vessel (but didn't go through with it), and gets a near death experience from a psychopathic mouse king.
Dw, she lives and all, just left traumatized and pissed about the Mouse Moment.
Anyways, happy birthday to Mickey and happy anniversary to the OG Pokémon SuMo games.
Note: Unlike the SpongeBob birthday painting, this piece is based on an actual event in the paracosm, a reoccurring scenario that's both an important plot point and something that stuck despite all the changes this paracosm goes through. I have to post this here instead of the casual account.
Update: Remember when I said she tried to kill herself? Yeah, I modified the lore a bit. Now her "escaping the job" attempt is now less of an actual suicide attempt and more like an attempt to quit her job/role as the character, which just so happens to be heavily tied to her life. She wouldn't immediately die if she's outside the meat suit, she'll just have to succumb to the pain to actually end up perma dying or deleting if she doesn't return to the meat suit.

An intermediate guide to the Fictionals and their Realm: Subspecies and Subtypes
The Fictional kind come in two main subspecies: Animated and Programmed. Their subspecies determine what they are made for, their artistic medium, what are they made of, and how are they made. Both of them have distinct biological make up and even how they express themselves such as their reactions.
They also come in multiple subtypes: Median, Indies, Internet Originates, and Creepypasta. Their subtypes determines their creators, their resources to keep projects going (such as wealth), how big they are, and where the Fictional is put into once their creation process is done.
Subspecies
Animated: They are those who are made specifically for shows, a movie, or a short animation film. Their skin is smooth and soft (if they don't have a shell or a harden coating), leaving behind a smudge of ink or dust if you were to touch one.
They can contort their faces or manifest things like floating flowers or purple swirls to express themselves. It is drilled within their nature to exaggerate their expressions with magic. They are very expressive creatures after all. Whenever they regenerate, they usually grow sketches around the wound and it'd patch itself in no time most of the time.
Programmed: Unlike their Animated counterparts, Programmed Fictionals have very rough skin and somewhat sharp skin from the pixels. They are coded for video games of all sorts. Their way of expressing themselves with magic is somewhat different from an Animated one.
They don't contort their faces as much, but they still express themselves with speech boxes with a symbol in it above their heads. They can also manifest dialogue boxes if it is required for their acting work; they can hold and bash things with them too. How they regenerate is different as well, instead of sketches, white glowing pixels and code will patch them up.
Sub types
Median: They are those who are created by a huge collective of mancers. They are from well known companies such as Disney and Nick. medians of the same company live in huge groups and form territories such as megapolises, empires, and kingdoms; usually named after their mancers' companies.
Due to their very exposed reputation, they are targeted by toxic Weblings the most out of the others. As a result, technical advancement for certain territories have been held back or in rough shape to some extent. Some look more outdated than the others. Fictionals such as SpongeBob and mickey fall into this category. Indies: Unlike their huge, popular cousins, Indies are made by smaller collective of mancers with limited resources for the project. Instead of forming big cities and taking up large lands, Indies of different smaller companies form towns and smaller cities, usually named after a digital distribution site or app (eg. Steam village). A majority of the time, they have not been targeted by weblings as often, it only happens if one were to achieve peak popularity and become famous. This allows them to develop their technology in a smooth and steady pace. Fictionals like Flowey and monika fall into this category
Internet Originates: They are Fictionals that may (parodies, satires, fan animation, etc) or may not (OCs of a web animated series) take on appearances of the medians. Their projects are exhibited in the media regions instead of broadcasts and stations. Thus, they ended up being born from the Internet realm instead of the Fictional realm. They are more accustomed to how the Internet realm works and their way around it compared to medians. They sometimes migrate to the Fictional realm by choice and live around the Indie and Creepypasta towns with their residents. A median Fictional encountering an IO is not common, but never 0. Thus certain territories start to be very thorough and specific when it comes to documents and identification, as duplicates start to become more and more common.
Heed of warning: implied massacre and genocide, and mention of blood. Be warned.
Creepypastas: This Subtype is a very interesting and sad case all around with a very sticky situation. Their origins are just like the Internet originates and are a rather recent subtype. However, they have been set apart by them for two reasons. A myth started by a con man states that their "special, mystical blood", commonly known as "Hyper Realistic Blood", can help enhance a caster's powers to an immense degree. Because of this, they have be constantly hunted for it and even milked dry from their blood with the harshest methods. Over the recent past years, they decrease in original numbers and certain Creepypasta Fictionals have to be replaced for future projects whether they have been presumed permanently dead or not.
Another is that they are very different from the other sub types. Unlike everyone else, Creepypasta Fictionals always have pale gray skin (like Lost Silver/Creepypasta Gold) or bright, pure white skin (like Slendy and Jeff). There have been variations where their skin tones are paler than their other counterparts. They see the world a tad different from the other subtypes as they can only see shades of black, white, gray, and red and naturally have night vision regardless of what creature they are based on. They also have a condition where they cry, sweat, and cough blood since creation. Another notable feature they have is that they typically have red glowing irises and black sclera. However, there has been exceptions. They are the weakest Fictionals when it comes to using magic as using their powers can drain them easily and make them bleed more than usual.
They have been difficult to find then, they've been difficult to find now. Though, it is not impossible for Medians to run into one without actively searching for them for whatever reason.

Welcome! Here is the guide to the Screen Universe for beginners. The Basics of the basics
What is Screen Universe? Screen Universe is a world that takes place behind the screen, what happens behind the TVs, the phones, the computers, all that stuff. Each part of the universe is separated into three main realms, all of which has creatures living in them. What are those creatures?
Fictionals: First off, the Fictionals! They are your favorite and not so favorite characters you see in animated media and video games. The characters responsible for the stories you consume, the instrument of your entertainment! And sometimes the ones who shape your childhood. But beware! They are not always what they seem. In fact, they're merely just actors, whose entire existence is to put up a show or a game for unknown entities.
Their stories, worlds, everything in their canons are all just an act! They may or may not be so different from their respective personas. A villain playing one may turn out to be nicer than their character, or a hero playing one being crueler than what they're shown for the camera, or perhaps closer or similar to the real deal. Who knows that they're truly like behind their masks. Interestingly enough, they can't or refuse to physically break character despite being mentally and emotionally different from them. meaning they must keep their bodies and names, their persona's identities. Why they can't do that is a mystery.
Weblings: They are creatures of the Internet realm, the embodiment of social media accounts and the product what their users do with them. They may be kind, an ass, or something worse. They either stay where they are or transverse to other realms. The rotten apples of their kind are usually the ones who pick fights with not just each other, but Fictionals too. Their appearance may vary from which part of the Internet Realm they are from.
Mancers: The deities of Screen Universe, the creators of both the Internet realm and the Fictional realm. They also create the Fictionals, their acting worlds, and direct them on what to do for their projects. As all mighty as they seem, they're just mortals, humans. They can die at any given time and can not be revived. What are those three realms? They are the Fictional Realm, the Internet Realm, and lastly the Memory Realm. Fictional Realm: Where the Fictionals hang out and take breaks from working on their series and being in character. There, they can also take on lives that may be entirely different or similar to their personas. They also form societies and territories, and much more.
Internet Realm: Where the Weblings are from. Each part of the realm are separated into different parts: media regions, Web sections, and many others. The media region are environments based on social medias and the weblings that reside within them
Memory Realm: The memory realm is the most interesting realm out of the others. It seemed to be always been around even way before the dawn of the Fictionals and Weblings combined, let alone have their respective realms created. It is the only realm Fictionals can't have easy access to and must meet very specific conditions to do so. The realm lives up to its namesake since it has recordings, both of the good and the bad, and contain permanently dead Fictionals, who'll remain a memory of the living.
Note that Fictionals are harder to kill and are functionally immortal. They must be killed in very specific conditions as well.
Other terminologies that'll be important for beginners
Ser-workers: The Fictionals' word for co-stars, they are those who work on the same series as them.
Rolcism: A form of discrimination where Fictionals judge and oppress each other for playing certain roles, usually the villain role. It can affect the other roles too and even the dynamic between actors both inside and outside of their on camera lives should some of them be rolcists.
Rolcists: Those who believe that they are better than others just because they play the "superior" role or believe that Fictionals of a certain role are worse than what they really are. Usually hero Fictionals are rolcists, but villain Fictionals can be rolcists too.
The Villainous Underground: A safe heaven for the villain playing Fictionals to hide from rolcists. The name of the place speaks for itself. It spreads across the undergrounds of the Fictional Realm, with an elaborated tunnel system that allows others to get around anywhere within the realm safely.
Acting Dimensions: Where the Fictionals' performances and project productions take place. They can be accessed via portal stations back in the Fictional Realm. A pocket dimension stage or an interdimensional studio basically.
Mascots: Certain Fictionals who are leaders of a territory and keep the place running and either keep it in great shape or abuse their power over it and the people in it. They are the representatives and the face of the territories they're from. The title is given to by the mancers. Examples of Mascots are SpongeBob, Mickey Mouse, and Mario.
Territories: They are large portions of land saturated in Fictionals of the same big animation or video game companies. They may have one mascot run the place (eg. Disney Kingdom), multiple mascots run it (eg. Nintendo Empire), a mascot and a council (eg. Nick Nation), or no mascot at all and only ran by a collective of non mascot Fictionals (eg. certain territories).
