Gerkley Daily #3 (April 27th, 2024)
Gerkley decides to take up keeping flowers every now and again and this time the flower withered just like all the others. He tries to live vicariously through the flower and even when it's rotting away he wants to be the flower so badly because he thinks his care of the flower is somehow better and more deserved than anything he's been able to give himself.

Gerkley Daily #2 (April 26th, 2024)
Gerkley and his pet fish Gleftle. He likes to take him on walks away from the city where he doesn't have to be around people. Sometimes Gerkley accidentally refers to Gleftle as his brother in conversation. This time Gleftle pooped in the river.. which happens every single time. Despite this, Gerkley is still shocked at the fact he decided to glarch himself in the water. This saddens Gerkley because he views it as a sign he isn't as close to Gleftle as he should be, despite them being inseperable. That's Gerkley, always asking questions to himself that feel more like beratements.

Gerkley Daily #1 (April 25th, 2024)
This is Gerkley. He tries. Don't worry, the drawings from now on will not have the horrible anti-aliasing of this. I literally made this drawing in like 35 seconds as a bit with text I only added today, so I didn't have this project in mind. I'll try to develop his character more through writing under the images but I don't have anything planned right now. Not to say I think this is going to be high art or anything, I just think it would be interesting.
I also intend to do some MS Paint reaction image doodles because it'll be fun.

Decided to draw a plant elemental made of cannabis because I thought it would just be interesting and I wanted to upload something.
The bat look was very much unintentional but I just rolled with it. And I definitely didn’t just make the hand patterns different because I unintentionally made one hand smaller than the other. Definitely not the reason. I have a more interesting thing coming soon today. It’s a character (or multiple characters if i find more than one interesting) that just automatically appeared in my head involuntarily while I was trying to sleep and the edible I took earlier was still in my system. It happened a bit ago so the drawings will be referencing some scrawlings i made while super tired in the Notes app so hopefully they’re accurate.

I’ll hopefully be posting some short animations at some point this month! I’ve had little motivation to do anything and honestly I still don’t have it but I think I’ve found a way to get around some of it. My brain hates the idea of just making a thing that isn’t a finished product with a purpose, so I think I’ll make reaction GIFs. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.
In the meantime, here’s a gross dog I drew named Norbert from like 2019. I don’t know what the rectangular thing is on the ground.

Update: I’m gonna try to find a different jam to join. The theme is just too constricting for what I was seeking to do. Mainly because I wanted to incorporate food reviewing into the gameplay and couldn’t figure out how. Sorry about that.

Needing to see my Endocrinologist
I have been having issues regulating my blood sugar despite taking my insulin. I don’t know what the issue is. I think it’s because I was prescribed a different insulin. I was on Victoza now I’m on Lyumjev.

I would be ETERNALLY GRATEFUL if y’all could help me see my doctor. I’m trying to book an appointment before Christmas or I won’t see my doctor until the middle of the new year. This is an out of pocket expense unfortunately of $325 because I don’t have insurance.
