DAY 5 REVEALS

Planck’s Constant [Patrick Brewer/David Rose - E - 7,353]

It’s Patrick’s last night in Toronto and David’s last weekend of freedom. They both decide to spend it with their best friend (and sister, ew) at a Stranger Things Festival.

Neither man was expecting to find their perfect match for the sexiest couple’s costume contest…or in love.

"Given that tomorrow is Saturday and the shop is closed on Sunday, and I know you don't have any plans because I'm your only friend" — he makes a noise of protest, but she barrels on through — "you have no choice but to come with me. Especially if you want to keep your one friend."

He scoffs. "Alexis is my friend."

Stevie just raises a dark brow in response.

"Fine!" David throws his hands up. "Where are we going?"

Stevie's answering grin is positively terrifying. "You're gonna love it."

Stevie drags David on a ghost tour. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

David starts a Knitting Group, takes up crochet and knitting, and helps play matchmaker to various townies.

Patrick signs up for an art class at Elmdale Community College. He was hesitant about whether he wanted to go through with it until he met the tall, dark, and handsome teacher.

DAY 4 REVEALS

Let me play among the stars [Patrick Brewer/David Rose, Stevie Budd & David Rose - G - 7588]

To be honest, David finds it hard to believe the guy on the screen right now could be persuaded to go through with a spray tan, nevermind be sewn into a skin-tight sparkly shirt and take a step onto a dancefloor. With his neat blue button-down and cropped hair, his whole look seems contrived to be as boy-next-door, soccer-mom friendly as possible.

David Rose has been a pro dancer on Dancing With The Stars for twelve seasons, but the mirrorball trophy has always been elusive. Will his new partner finally be the one to lift it with him?

TFTC [Patrick Brewer/David Rose - T - 5,615]

When David spots several people acting strangely in front of the store, his curiosity - and suspicions - are raised. Patrick goes to investigate and in the process discovers a new hobby. David doesn't fully understand it but hey, his husband is cute when he's excited. "They’re everywhere. In the countryside, in small towns…” Patrick turns the phone around, pinches the map and then shows it to David. This time it’s a city on the screen, littered with many more green dots. “They’re in the cities too. Apparently there’s one nearby our store, recently set up. Which would explain the groups of people you’ve noticed. They were all looking for it.”

“Lots of people go looking for Big Foot and the Loch Ness Monster as well. That doesn’t mean it’s not a huge waste of time.”

David likes audiobooks. Patrick likes hockey. What happens when you combine the two?

He started laying everything all over the coffee table. Then he laid out more pieces of scrapbook paper on the ground and started organizing pictures, stickers and other little trinkets on each page. Yes, this was turning out to be a bigger undertaking than he first thought it would; but he was loving how everything was turning out so far.

DAY 3 REVEALS

Pressed and Bound [Patrick Brewer/David Rose - M - 8,658]

Patrick is new in town, with a lot of baggage, trying to find a way to assuage his guilt. He finds it in an unexpected place.

David is lost after losing his job at the Blouse Barn, but finds the inspiration to open his own store. A betrayal by town council sets him on a different path.

Sparks fly when the two men meet at Christmas World, but they fail to exchange names or numbers.

How will they find each other again?

Schitt’s Creek’s annual jigsaw puzzle competition rolls around and David is introduced to the potential new hobby and a potential new friend, Patrick. It doesn’t go well. (Initially)

David spoke about how elevating their own image would elevate their brand image too, and about how many new clients they could get if Single’s Week was the success Alexis claimed it would be. And before, Patrick would have argued against being wasteful and the idea that getting himself better jeans could ever affect their sales volume, but now… Now he touches another sweater that costs five times what he would normally spend, while, out of the corner of his eye, he finds in the source of the compliment, a beautiful young woman, shamelessly ogling David.

The role is a hockey player and David knows nothing about the sport. Patrick agrees to let David shadow him and learn from him.

The mysterious artist known only as D.R. — a black-and-white film photographer from New York — may have disappeared from the world years ago... but Patrick still treasures the one print he'd purchased during a business trip in the city. After all, it may have given him the courage to break his own heart, move to a city he'd never heard of, and meet the love of his life.

He hasn't thought about in years. That is, until he's picking up lunch at the café and something familiar catches his eye. The tone, the light — he'd know an original D.R. photo anywhere.

We are very excited to kick off year three of Passions and Pastimes reveals!

Before we jump into the reveals, we want to thank all of the creators who submitted works, and everyone else for the interest and excitement in allowing us to bring another year of Passions and Pastimes to life.

We’ll be posting over 5 days: Monday through Friday, each day at noon, eastern time. With the schedule as it is now, you can expect 4-5 works per day. And finally, we’ll reveal creators on Monday, October 2nd at noon Eastern time.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I have my 3 claims and I have my 3 fics, but I can’t figure out how to submit them 🤦🏻‍♀️. The only option it gives me is to drop not fulfill. Am I reading the instructions wrong or is it something else?

Thank you for your message (and the other one we received as well) letting us know that the option to fulfill the claim(s) was missing. We've now adjusted the settings on AO3 and therefore you should be able to submit works now! Please do let us know if that is not the case.
