He was in love, he was loved, and he was struck with a deep certainty that he would do anything to keep that love in his life. He shivered from the gentle sensation of Jack’s claws tracing his cheekbone. He’d keep this. As long as Jack loved him. He’d keep this.

It’s not the exact anniversary, but last April I posted the first WWH drawing which led to me meeting the some of the loveliest people, making a genuine friendship, and rapidly developing my artistic style and writing voice. It’s so bizarre to think this crack crossover ship would mean so much to me in the last year but it did. What is in the water here. Anyway. Thank you for engaging with my work, it means the world!

Jack was so lost in watching, his mind clear of the thousand thoughts that usually tormented him, that he didn't immediately notice that Hiccup was asking him something.

“What?” he said, straightening his back, pretending he hadn't been about to fall asleep.

Hiccup was shaping the metal with a hammer in rhythmic strikes, not looking at Jack. “I was wondering if you… I mean, I was wondering what you were going to say that time at the inn,” he stumbled, as if the question had slipped out of his mouth but it was too late to take it back.

it’s my first ever hardcover bind so i was prepared to make a lot of silly little mistakes and this one definitely does, but i love how it turned out still, i think she’s so cute .. i’m also just happy to finish a personal project that took up so much time to make 🥹

Pitch grabbed the edge of the bowl and with a growl tipped it over in one fluid motion. The water poured onto the floor in a puddle dotted with small transparent bubbles, spreading until it touched the carpet.

Then it was the bowl's turn to shatter against the marble in a crash of glass fragments.

Not satisfied, Pitch gritted his teeth and kicked the three-legged pedestal over. The clang of iron rang through the walls of his study.

Hiccup raised his eyebrows in shock. Even Astrid couldn't believe what she had just said.

“I thought you were smart, have you never thought of that?” she continued, encouraged by his momentary silence. “You really are an idiot.”

Hiccup's expression finally flickered. “A smart idiot?”

“The two things can coexist,” Astrid muttered.

Tried to redesign the riders to be a little more believable? … as in convincing but not historically accurate? Tried taking the ac:Valhalla approach, I think they look kinda cool (pls ignore hiccup he was my test & I can’t get him to look any better but this is more abt design than polish I guess)

The helmets were kind of a nightmare and irl Viking’s defo wouldn’t wear any of those designs but I wanted it to still feel like their helmets. Snotlout esp needed his horns they’re too cute I’m sorry.
