Alive, only to spare everyone from another loss. Alive, only to keep others happy. No, he wasn’t alive. He was living, sure, but he never felt what its like to actually be alive. What did he need to do in order to feel human again? Drugs? Alcohol? What was it? Despite his intelligence surpassing most, he could not comprehend why the only two solutions he saw were considered to be wrong. And his brain simply could not muster up another conclusion that would be considered ‘right.’

writers when they’re reading said works after they’ve been published like proud parents *find 52 mistakes at first glance, 38 typos and 14 grammatical errors with a bunch of inconsistencies and plot holes*

“Well, maybe we can finish the story another day. I have to go get work done, lots since I was distracted by you!” She said with a big smile, standing up as she spoke.
“Wait– but what if you forget where we left off?”
“Then you’ll remind me, wont you?”
Dai stared up at the doctor, giving her a thumbs up. “I got you! I’ll remember it like that back of my hand!”
Sakura laughed as she helped the child up from his sitting position, her hand placed on his shoulder as they made their way to the door and leaving the plane-filled room.
“Can we stargaze again tonight? All of us?”
“Maybe, I’ll have to ask Ms. Tsunade, though.”
