Tale of Two Cities
I’m thinking about writing a little short about the council of Piltover and how Vi and Caitlyn would argue about Zaun and how it should prevail.
In the events of potential war, (Y/N), Vi, and Caitlyn all step up to appeal to the council about the city of Zaun and properly argue about the future of both cities. Whether or not they listen is concerning.
Idk it's just an idea 🤷‍♂️

Diffidence
It’s a cold, windy night in Zaun, you have nothing to eat or drink or rather anything to afford. You wander the cold, wet streets looking for anyone to hopefully spare some food or medicine. Your little sister lays sick in her bed in your shit-hole apartment, without funds for any medication or potions, you are left with no option except to go out in the cold, dark world, alone and scared.
Tumblr media
Rain patters against the tinted window of your roommates bedroom. A neon purple glow radiates outside of your living space illuminating the inside interior. Your sister pale to look at, lays on her bed, head against her pillow staring at you with sunken eyes. Dark rings were around her eyelids due to the lack of sleep she received. A wet cough came from her throat.
“Do we have anymore of the acetaminophen?” She asked weakly. Placing a cold cloth against her forehead, you sadly shake your head no.
“We ran out last night. I’ll have to go out and get some more.” She smiles softly and shakes her no. Leaning a little closer and putting the towel back into the lukewarm bowl you place it back on her forehead. “Lana, I have to, otherwise you’ll get worse.”
“It’s not worth the trouble. We don’t have the money for it.”
“I’ll figure something out.” You say softly. Standing up and walking out of the room you start going through drawers and clothes. Nothing. “Shit.” Then you eye down the couch, the cushions especially. You stick your hand between the first cushion and the arm of the couch and find nothing, then you move onto the other. Once again you find nothing. Getting a little frustrated you throw the cushions off the seats and then spot about seven or eight coins lying in the middle of the couch, several covered in dirt and grime.
You gather all of them and place them into your pocket. Once you make sure they are safe and snug, you walk back into the bedroom. Lana looked up at you weakly. “Are you hungry? Do you need anything?” You asked from the doorway. She smiles once again.
“We got anything to eat?” You rush back to the kitchen and look around through the cupboards, finding nothing but an empty box of tea and a few crumbs. Walking back to the doorway, you shake your head no. She grimaced a little but replaced her expression with a sad smile as to not upset you, little to her knowledge you had already saw it and made up your mind. You turn and go to grab your coat from your room, you hear a muffled “What are you doing?” From the other room.
“Shopping.” You return to her bedroom and walk to her bedside, kneeling down. “I should only be gone for a few hours, two at the most, give or take.” She opens her mouth to argue but you shake your head “This isn’t up for debate Lana, you don’t have any food or medicine. Now try to rest I’ll be back as soon as I can.”
“Will you have enough?” She asked quietly. You tuck your hands into your hoodie and gently caress the watch on your left wrist. It had belonged to your older brother, he practically raised you both. Starting out small he became a thief and then eventually stole from the wrong crowd, a gang of street fighters who worked as rival enforcers for a man by the name of Samuel, he was killed not too long ago. He had warned you to never follow into his footsteps, as that led to an early grave. You wish he had heeded his own warning.
“Of course.” You say with a reassuring smile. You open the window to the living room and climb down the fire escape out into the cold wet sky. Once you reach the bottom, you pull your hood over your head and quickly make your way into the night. Wet splashes are heard coming off your dirty, leather boots. Drops of water drip onto your jacket and body, leaving little wet droplets on your clothes. You pass by a few alleyways and see several shrunken, scarred up bodies laying on the ground with little covering them up. If they were dead or asleep only made the thought more unnerving.
You quicken your pace and walk closer to the open street. A few buzzing lights crackled on and off illuminating the buildings and citizens that were still left roaming the night. Several of them made eye contact with you and you lowered your gaze and tightened your body up. An uncomfortable feeling arose in your stomach as you continued your journey. After walking a little bit longer you reach a bar, there are a few patrons standing or rather laying outside, a few of them snoring that was reassuring, and one that wasn’t, his body was twisted in such a weird angle, you couldn’t even believe you were staring at something like this. Your stomach churned and you nearly lost your lunch. You turned back around to face the outside one last time, you couldn’t take your eyes off the grotesque sight that you didn’t even see where you were stepping, next thing you know, you are falling inside of the bar face first.
You can hear laughter and a few patrons exchanging words between each other, most likely about your embarrassing fall. After picking yourself up you look up to see practically everyone staring at you. Once you fully stood up you silently and quickly made your way towards the bar itself, avoiding eye contact along the way. You can feel the gazes of patrons on you as you walk up to the bar, one patron even makes a remark. “Not even 12, and this little punk is shit faced, someone can’t hold their liquor!” Tightening your arms at your side you walk slowly up to the side of the bar to where the bartender is cleaning glasses.
“A little young to be in here, don’t you think?” He asks you. You look up slowly to see a man around his thirties. He’s wearing a white button up with wrist cuffs and has a poorly haircut. Unlike everyone else in the bar he does happen to great you with a bit of a smile. Or at least as much of one as he can muster.
“…please I need some food for my sister.” You quietly say.
“I’m sorry, can you speak up? I can’t hear you over the noise in here.” He said. You lower your gaze a bit and tighten your arms at your side once again. You open your mouth to speak but another voice interrupts before you can get anything out.
“He said he wants some food for his sister.” Both you and the bartender turn to see a blue haired girl woman stand right next to you at the bar. She was pale and wore a blank expression on her face, not to mention her long pigtails that almost touched the floor. Her hair looked like it hadn’t be been cut in years. Before you realized it, you were staring at how long her hair might be. She turned her gaze onto you and you look away quickly as to not be rude.
“I’m sorry, we don’t serve food here only drinks.” The bartender said sadly. You reach into your pocket and pull out the small handful of coins and gently place them onto the counter.
“Do you have anything here besides drinks? Something that can count as like a snack or something small? I-I know I don’t have much but..”
The bartender rubs the back of his head and sighs slightly. “We might have some soup in the back but I doubt it’s still any good.” The woman stepped forwards and jumped onto one of the spinning stools scaring the bartender.
“Be a good host Chuck and go check in the back wouldya?” The man she called Chuck looked back and forth between you and her and chuckled slightly.
“My name is Thieram…”
“Chuckles, you’re funny.” The woman laughs. She turns to you and gestures at Chuck/Thieram. “I swear every time I come in here, he always says that. I mean seriously what kind of name is Thieram anyway?” The bartender looks offended and mutters under his breath about how his mother named him after his grandmother’s father. You smile slightly but it falters once you realize that the blue haired woman is staring at you. You again turn away to avoid eye contact. “You know you can sit down on the stools, you don’t have to stand there all awkwardly.” She cooed.
You hadn’t even realized it but you were swaying while you stood still. You look at the stools and all but one were empty. Of course it was right next to her. There’s nothing more awkward than sitting next to random people you don’t know, or trust. You started to fiddle with your fingers, quietly cracking them, you did this when you were nervous or bored. “No…that’s ok, I can stand till he gets back, shouldn’t be too long.” You say quietly. She chuckles a bit.
“I don’t bite, Come on, I swear I got all of my shots, nothing contagious, scouts honor!” She says while pulling out the little stool for you. With a defeated sigh, you slowly walk over to the stool and sit down on it. Your body faces the bar with your hands in your pockets and head lowered to avoid any gazes. “Where you from stranger? Haven’t seen you around these parts before.” She asked.
“…Zaun.” You say quietly.
“I know that you are from Zaun silly, I meant where in Zaun.” She giggled. You fiddled with your fingers again and the left sleeve on your wrist rolls down a bit exposing your brother’s wrist watch. It shined bright and golden. Her hand reached over and pulled your sleeve back over the exposed watch, her physical contact was ice cold to the touch. “You’re really going to want that covered. I probably don’t have to tell you what happens in this area of Zaun to people of good wealth, well as good as wealth you can come by these days.”
You looked around quickly to see if anyone was watching your conversation. It was Zaun after all, anything could happen and you probably wouldn't be the least surprised. You have heard of stories where people pretend to be your friends at a bar, get you drunk then proceed to “walk” you home only to get several of their buddies to beat and rob you. “It was my brother, he gave it to me before he was murdered,” you say. Her expression dropped to something indescribable. Not angry but also maybe a little regretful or possibly sad? It was hard to tell.
Before you knew it, she grasped your inner arm tightly and pulled you in close to look at her face directly. A little too close, you swallowed hard and started back at this strange woman. You blush a bit. She had the same serious, indescribable expression on her face with hardening eyes staring into your soul. “You said you have a sister right?” she asked. Without missing a beat or wanting to upset her, you nodded quickly. “You hold onto her, you hear me? You hold onto to her...a-and you never let go, because if you do she will abandon you and you will be left with no one to care for you or about,” she said with a raspy stammering voice. Her eyes seemed to water a bit like she was about to start crying.
You wanted to pry for more information but you decided it was against your better judgment. She started to shake and mutter to herself for a second. “No..no shut up, I'm not talking to you right now! Stop it.” normally you would have averted your eyes and minded your business but you wanted to try and help, after all this stranger did try and help you get some food for your little sister, while you didn't owe her anything you still wanted to help anyway you could. You reach out slowly and gently tap her on the shoulder.
“Uh...um excuse me, are you-?”
“What?!” she snarled. Slapping your hand away and glaring at you with her sharp blue eyes. You pull your hand back quickly and lower your gaze.
“Sorry, I didn't mean to...i-I was just going to ask if you were ok, that's all. Sorry I didn't mean to touch you without permission.” once she saw how you reacted she mellowed down a bit and shook her head.
“It's nothing...I-why are you being nice to me?”
“Well you were nice to me first, you did ask...Chuck? Whatever the bartender's name to go in the back for soup. Thank you.”
She smiled at your comment. And then helped herself to a soda from behind the bar and grabbed herself a beer mug. She jumped back over from the counter and dropped a flowered umbrella into her mug. “I like talking to you stranger, it's been a while since I've had a decent conversation with anyone. Silco’s always busy or not available to talk, and Sevika is a buzz kill. I mean seriously, that tall-ass broad likes to take the fun out of everything! I mean this one time I took a few of her screws that's she uses for her metal arm, I swear I was going to go and get her some new ones but I really needed them for a project I was working on.” she chuckles a bit while sipping her soda. “Though I still can't get her out of my head chasing me around with her metal arm trying to beat me with it, fun times.”
While she was in her memories, Chuck/Thieram came out the back of the bar carrying two cans of what looked to be chicken noodles soup. He places them on the counter in front of you two. “Alright found the last two good cans, you are a lucky fellow. Your total will be $10.57,” he says and holds out his hand for payment. You panic internally inside and count the change in front of you, the total coming out to be 75 cents altogether. Your shoulders slump and you start to tear up just a bit.
“I-I know it's not much bu-”
Before you can say anything else the stranger drops what looks like to be a grenade onto the counter and smiles sweetly at the bartender. “10.57 for two cans of soup seem high, don’t ya think?” she said. Theiram/Chuck turned white, he looked over to you and mustered up a smile as much as he could and said,
“You know what, I can always open a tab on that, you seem like a trustworthy kid. Enjoy your soup buddy!” he widens his smile with fear behind his eyes. You couldn't believe your own luck. You quickly put all of your coins back into your pocket and gingerly reached over for the soup.
“Thank you so much!” you said. You turn over to the blue-haired woman and shake her hand very aggressively. Her whole body is shaking up and down. Once you realized you just nearly tore this poor girl’s arm off you sheepishly apologize and then start to rush out the door. Before you register anything you accidentally bump into someone while out the door.
“I'm so sorry, here let me he-” Before you could finish your sentence you feel the cold steel of a blade against your throat, a sharp edge pressed against your Adam's apple. You instinctively raise your arms above your head and try your hardest not to move.
“That wasn't a very polite gesture to do now was it kid? I think your parents ought to have taught you better than that.” a gruff voice spoke. “I think you should make it up to me and my buddies.” the voice said with a dark chuckle. Before you could even register what was happening two ham-sized arms grabbed yours. behind and held you in place. Another pair wrapped around your legs and hoisted you off the ground. “Let's step into my office shall we?” the voice said. They started to carry you around the building into an ally, the entire time you are stammering apologizing, and pleading with them. But sadly it's all on deaf ears.
Little to your knowledge a figure with long braided pigtails sat atop the roof of the Bar, watching the whole thing. The figure stood and walked in your direction. The two goons who carried you to the ally then throw you to the ground against a dumpster, your back collides against the corner, and your arms against the ground. You let out a painful whimper and try to pick yourself up. One of the goons tries to grab you and you stick your fingers into his eyes. He lets out a wail of pain and the other goon grabs you off of him and throws you against the wall. You fall to your hands and knees. The leader walks up and kicks you in the ribs and then in the stomach.
Once you are on the ground again, the two cans of soup fall out of your pocket and roll onto the wet pavement. You reach out with your left hand to try and get them. One of the goons grasps your wrist and hoists you up inspecting your watch. “What do we have here?” he said. He starts to undo the watch from your wrist, once you realize what's happening you start to jerk and grab at his hands attempting to stop him.
“No!”
In response, the goon backhand's you and then tears the watch off and tosses you to the wet pavement. You get back up and try to get it from him only to for him to toss it over to one of his cronies in a cruel game of catch.
“No! Give it back! Please!” you pleaded while trying to desperately reach for it. Two of the cronies grab your arms and pin you against the wall. You begin to plead with them once more they laugh and sneer at your attempts to reason. The leader pockets the watch and then picks up both cans. He pockets the other and begins to toss and catch the second one.
“You know what? That ass beating probably has worked up an appetite for this kid! Let's do our good deed for the week and feed him!” he pops open one of the cans. “Hold him still!” he snarls.
“You don't understand! I need that for my sister!” you begin to thrash. The uglier one of the group grabs your chin and forces open your mouth. Before he can start pouring, loud clattering sounds are heard. All four of you look towards the ground where a grenade with a neon pink monkey is painted on rolls to the leader's feet. An explosion goes off knocking everyone to the ground. You see a figure emerge from the shadows and blow her hair from her eyes while staring at all of you with a blank expression.
“Hi,” she says. Then in a blink of an eye, she pulls out a pistol and opens fire on all four of you. In your panic, you grab one of the goons and pull on his shirt causing both of you to hit the ground. You quickly crawl on your belly in the wet gravel towards the backside of the dumpster to avoid fire. Sadly each time you get closer one of the goons gets in front of you till inevitably are stuck between all three now freshly dead bad guys. You scoot back from the dead bodies, shuddering and crying till your back hits the wall. You see a pair of boots begin walking in your direction. You shield your eyes and begin to shake. With a trembling voice, you kindly ask the figure to let you live.
“P-ple...please d-don’t hurt m-me.” you are shaken by taking off your watch and holding it in front of yourself. “Just let me go...please, I want to see my sister again. She's sick an-and needs my help.” a voice then spoke out.
“Relax there stranger, I ain't gonna hurt you!” you look up hesitantly, still shaking and sniffling. Above stood the blue-haired woman with her hand out and a cheery smile on her face. “My name is Jinx, I think you and I are going to be really good friends, what do ya say? Interested?”

“I know you better than you think.”Jinx x General Neutral reader.
This is a rough draft. I wanted to post another post anyway and practice my writing a bit more. So this scene takes place in the long-awaited season two. Your character (along with the entire main cast) has managed to capture Jinx and have her held prisoner awaiting trial possibly being sent to death. You believe she can be changed and deep down still has feelings for you, so you do whatever it takes to save her, even if it means your own death.
You approached the jail cell, alone in the dark, wet silent dungeon. Despite Piltover having a bright and beautiful future, their prison system was still shit. The cell was dark and cold, with very little light to shine through. A figure sat in the middle of the darkness with its knees to its chest, two bloodshot pink eyes staring back at you between the bars, like a monster in the darkness.
“Come to throw peanuts at the monkey like the rest of the zookeepers?” The figure asked in a raspy voice.
“I just want to talk.”
The figure scoffed, stood up, and walked slowly over to the cell door. Blue and pink fingernails interlocked between the bars and she pressed her face against the opening, not once ever taking her eyes off of you. You stood strong with your arms by your side and your head held high. Jinx looked at you with a small malicious smirk. “How's your side holding up? Still a little sore are we?”
You subconsciously reach over to your scar. A flashback plays in your head to you backing up from a hug. After releasing her from a hug you heard a loud popping sound and stepped back. Looking down to your stomach, you see a red hole and blood began to form and pour from it. your wound.
“So you came to try and talk some “sense” into me huh?” she air quoted while chuckling softly.
“No, just to talk.”
“About?”
“Whatever you’d like..”
She tilted her head and sneered. “What if I don’t want to talk?”
You placed your hands in your pockets and walked slowly over to the cell. Despite your outside demeanor, you will always have that need for comfort. Deep down you want to believe she can change. You long for the old Jinx, the beautiful, crazy girl who taught you how to shoot and advance your mechanic skills. That was your jinx, the one you knew. You long for the jinx that you love. The person in the cell with pink eyes and a malicious smile is not her.
“I'm not going to force you to,” you look around the jail hallway. “Despite how things seem right now, I promise I'm not your enemy. I want to help you.”
A sad smile formed on her lips and her eyes took a kinder appearance. In a twisted way, she almost looked like the old Jinx. The person you love.
“Same old (Y/N), always looking out for the little people.” her small smile turned back to a smirk. “If you think I'm going to stand here and listen to your bullshit, You know Silco was right, in the end, everyone betrayed us. I'm alone.”
“I'm trying to help you, Jinx.” you pleaded.
“Really? I don't see you in a cell.” she scoffed while lazily rolling between the bars.
“I was trying to save the city, not burn it to the ground!” you retorted. She giggled while glaring at you.
“That's rich! Judging by such a good job you've done, I’d even go as far as to say that you’re a class act!” she said snickering. You lowered your gaze and you tightened your arms closer to your body.
“I've made my mistakes, I'm not going to deny it. But what I've done has been to help people to the best of my ability.”
“Spoken like a true hero (Y/N).”
“Please sweets I-”
She slammed her hands against the bars, causing you to flinch slightly. “Do. Not. Call. Me. That.” she seethed slowly. Her grip around the bars tightened making her already pale knuckles turn stark white. “You lost the right to, the minute you betrayed me.” Her anger grew. “You’re no hero, you’re a failure. You failed to save Piltover, you failed to stop the movement of shimmer and you failed to save me.”
Tears welled up in your eyes. How did things come to this? Why does she insist on hurting you like this? You turned away slightly and quickly wiped away your tears. No matter how much she treated you like this, you refused to have anyone see you as such. Not for being seen as weak, you already had enough of that going around. You hated when people you love or care for saw you break down. You didn't see it with your back turned, Jinx’s anger had died down her expression faltered to a mixture of regret and sadness. Slowly she lessened her grip on the bars of the cell and reached out for you partially, pulling her hand back through and back onto the bars.
“They want to execute you, you know?” you said still facing the other direction.
“And I guess I'm supposed to thank you for not allowing that to happen?” she asked.
Sighing you turn back around. “They don't know I'm here right now.” she narrowed her eyes a bit.
“So what's your point?”
You step forward cautiously. “The citizens of Piltover and Zaun don’t know you as I do. They see you as this vile, horrible, bomb-toting psycho who will kill anyone in her way no matter what the cost. They see you as a monster Jinx.” you say sadly.
“Well, they’re right.” she smiled. This made your heart drop down to hell.
“You are not a monster Jinx.”
“Yes, I am. I’ve accepted it, why haven't you?” she spat.
“Really? Ok, prove it.” She eyes you up and down as you walk toward her cell door and unlock it. You pull open the door and step back. “You're free to leave.”
Jinx looked up at you and smirked with her devilishly pink eyes trained on you. “Oh really?” she giggled. Like a cat, she leaped off her cot and strutted towards the open cell door, and stopped at the entrance.
You don't answer her, you look away from her predatory gaze and glance at the floor.
“For a smart guy, this was an incredibly stupid move (Y/N).” she giggles, baring her teeth like a predator. Crossing her arms she continues to look at you, you can feel her gaze burning into your soul. “What’s the catch toots?” she asked.
“Like I said you are free to leave, but to do so, you have to kill me.”
Her smile widens. “Is that all? Really?” she steps out of the cell and invades your personal space immediately. Your gaze meets hers unwavering. You stare into her pink eyes looking to see if you even see a fraction of the person. That once was. “You want to fight, is that it?” she asked smiling widely and unervingly.
“No, I don't want to fight you, Jinx. Like I said you can leave, but you have to kill me first.”
“Don’t think I won’t,” she warns. As soon as she moves, you pull her pistol out and aim it at her as quickly as you can. She runs almost directly into the barrel of the gun and holds her hands up. Her eyes were wide as saucers and shocked as all can be. She smiles and backs up slowly, putting on a pouty, almost innocent expression. “Oh no, (Y/N) you wouldn't shoot little ole me now would you?” she mocked.
You lower put the safety on and twirl the pistol around your finger until the barrel is facing downwards and you raise it to her. She looks at you confused and then snatches the gun away with annoyance added to her voice “, That's no fun, at least make it a challenge toots.”
“I told you I'm not going to fight you.”
She smiles and slowly walks toward you. “Maybe I should shoot you again, remind you that I'm not that person anymore. That jinx that you loved? She’s gone. I'm all that remains.”
“Good, then this should be easy for you.” You say. She looks down at the gun and back at you. Her grip tightened around the handle. “What are you waiting for?” you ask. She turns her gaze back onto you, glaring at you. “Here, let me make it easier for you.” you grab her hand with the gun and you raise it to your forehead, and place the barrel between your eyes. Her eyes widen and her hand starts to shake a little bit.
“What's the big deal?” You ask. “You’re the big bad villain everyone says you are right? This is what they do! They kill their friends and family.” she lowers her gaze a bit. “Their loved ones,” you say quietly. “They do whatever is necessary to get what they want right?...RIGHT?!” you say sharply, yanking her arm harshly. A scowl grows on her face and her jaw tightens. “Come on, Sweets, kill me.”
She raises the gun and cocks the hammer back. Her arm shaking like a leaf and her eyes glaring into yours. A silence fell over the both of you. A few seconds roll by as they seem like hours. She tightens her grip on the gun and growls. Still nothing. “You can’t do it, can you?” you ask. You reach out slowly and push the barrel down towards the floor. “No matter what you tell yourself or what others may say, you still care. Otherwise, you would have killed me that night.”
“I missed.” she scoffed.
“No. You missed it because you chose to. I've seen you shoot before and not once have you ever missed a shot. Even when you are distracted you always hit your target. You wouldn't have missed it unless you had meant to.” you say. “Underneath all that hate and shimmer is still the Jinx I fell in love with. It's still you and I’ll never give up on you, no matter what happens.”
Tears fell from her cheeks. She let go of the gun and it clattered to the floor. She wiped the tears as they fell and you walked closer to her and lightly wrapped your arms around her. She flinched at the tender touch at first but then slowly melted into your hug and cried Into your chest. Her sobs were muffled by your jacket. You wrapped around her tightly and lowered your jaw on the top of her head. You closed your eyes as a few tears of your own slowly fell from your cheeks.
“It's going to be ok, I’m going to get you out of here,” you said.
I hoped you guys enjoyed it. Please let me know if you want me to try and write any particular ones you would like to see, I'm trying to practice my writing and that should include any genre. Thank you for reading.

For my next post, I might do a series, perhaps a Jinx x male reader since I don't see many of those on here. I'm thinking of writing a series based off of season one but this will take place after Arc 1 so starting all those years later and around the time we first see adult jinx stealing the arcane energy and gets attacked by the firelights. My OC (Y/N) will not have any connection to the group until he meets Jinx for the first time and gets dragged in.

Jinx’s Tea Party Scene Jinx x GN reader
(I wanted to write this scene a bit differently because I love this character a lot. It's so tragic that things turned out the way they did for practically everyone in the show, especially Powder. But I wanted to also remind people who share similar trauma with her that you are not alone. I can’t help but imagine what it would be like If Jinx had someone else in her life other than Silco and Vi to help keep her grounded. Don't get me wrong as much as Silco loves her their relationship was incredibly toxic and dangerous and partially lead to where we are now. In this scene, as much as Vi does try to get her sister back she has no idea how to heal her, and when she's trying to get her to remember her friends and family all it does is let the monster out even further. Now while I will be writing this from my perspective I will be using (y/n). I hope you enjoy it.)
As soon as you opened the door you heard voices. Stepping into the shadow you peered over to the bottom of the stairwell and saw the candle-lit table with three people toes to chairs and one long blue pigtailed girl pacing back and forth frantically.
“It can go away, please. Send her on her way an-”
Caitlyn’s muffled cries screamed out from behind Jinx. Vi turned her attention over to her purple-haired girlfriend strapped to a chair with pleading eyes and a gag wrapped around her mouth with a crude neon pink spray-painted smile.
“And, you can have Powder back,” Jinx said, practically begging Vi. She placed her gun into Vi’s hand, never taking her gaze off of her. Vi's hands shook, she looked back over to Caitlyn where she pleadingly shook her head. Vi looked back to Jinx.
“I-I can’t.”
Jinx scoffed. She yanked the gun out of Vi’s hands and raised it toward Caitlyn.
“No! Powder listen!” Vi screamed, tears welling up in her eyes, her voice breaking a bit. “W-we can just go! We’ll leave and never come back.”
Jinx’s expression dropped from a cold glare to a confused childlike pout. “Where would we go?” she asked. Before Vi could open her mouth again Jinx screamed out “No! No, she's not saying that!”
“It's true we can put this behind us and you’ll never have to see him again Powder!”
Silco leaned forward in his chair, angry muffled yells came from his gag. He flopped forward and started daggers at Vi and switched to a pleading stern expression to Jinx. She looked back at him and cocked her pistol.
“What do you have to say about that?!” she asked as he walked over to him and took out his gag. Spittle and drool sloshed out form his mouth and she spat angrily at Vi
“Her name is Jinx!” He screamed. Turning his attention over to jinx he said “You’ll be with her for a day before she realizes that you aren’t that girl anymore and turns her back on you!”
Jinx placed the gun up towards her cheek and twirls it a bit in a state of thought, contemplating what she had just heard.
“You aren’t lying, you wouldn't lie to me, right? Not again?” she asked. Vi leaned forwards towards her and shook her head.
“I’m not lying! I'm on your side!” Vi pleaded. As soon as she said that Jinx looked up and violently shot the crude stitched puppet of Mylo. The shot rang out and caused you to almost misstep and nearly tumble down the stairs. It pierced a champagne glass and chatted the side of it, it fell over, and Caitlyn took quick notice of it.
“Shut up! We’re talking!” she screamed at the vacant chair. Things were starting to get frantic. Everyone started talking all at once. Vi screamed out names of past friends and family at Jinx trying to get her to remember who and where she was. Silco screamed curses and venom toward vi while also yelling out to Jinx. Jinx slammed her pistol against the side of her head, grasping her hair and twisting and turning her body, begging for the noise and visions to stop. You quickly made your way down. The candlelight hadn't been strong enough to show your presence and you slowly made your way towards her. The darkness didn't help much and you had to watch where you were stepping, you got closer your heel cracked the rest of the broken glass on the floor and caught everyone’s attention.
Jinx looked up in your direction and cocked her pistol once more. With fire in her pink eye, she called out to the darkness.
“Who's there? Show yourself!”
Taking a deep breath you stepped forward into the candlelight. With your hands raised and a relaxed but cautious demeanor, you made your way over to her.
“Hey sweets,” you said softly your hands raised above your head. You have her a sad soft smile. Her eyes widened and her brow furrowed.
“W-what are you doing here?” she asked softly breathing heavily. You calmly walk over to her, she tenses up and tucks her arms closer to her body. You lower your hands in a hugging gesture. She stares at you with confusion and fear, tears welling up in her eyes. She turns her head slightly and shuts her eye tightly.
“No! Stop it!” she hits herself against the head again. “I said SHUT UP! SHUT UP!” she yelled. She starts to turn and twist away violently screaming out to nothing.
You step forward again and lightly cup her cheeks. She flinches slightly and opens her eyes to you. You smile softly and apologetically at her. She looks over to Vi then to Silco. She then looks over to Caitlyn, rage forms in her eyes again but you pull her close and press her head against your chest. Her lip quivers and the tears now fall freely onto your clothes. She lets out a wailing sob and drops the gun. It clatters against the floor and the room falls silent. She stops moving.
“It’s going to be ok, I'm here, I'm here,” you say to her. “I'm not going to leave you.” Silco’s voice speaks from behind her,
“Jinx untie me, and let's finish this.”
She looks up and tries to turn over to him but you stop her. She looks back at you confusingly. You shake your head no. “He's trying to get into your head, just focus on me.”
You hear the clicking of the Gatling gun starting and Caitlyn’s voice shouts from behind you.
“(Y/n) get out out of the way! I'm ending this!” she shouts.
“Caitlyn no! You can’t she's my sister!” Vi shouts back, trying to undo her restraints. Jinx’s head shoots up her eyes wild like a feral animal and she starts to reach for the gun on the floor.
“Hey hey hey hey.” you softly say, all the while she's trying to free herself from your grip. She's starts shouting and jumping up and down.
“What the fuck are you doing? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING (Y/N)!” she snarls
“Jinx, please stop just focus on me ok?!” you turn towards Caitlyn. “Stay away from her! Back off Caitlyn! I've got this!” as soon as you turn her back Jinx removes herself from your grip and in a flash grabs the gun. You step back in front of her and grab her arms to prevent her from shooting Caitlyn. You push against her and you two start to move towards Silco. Once you reach his side he jets out his leg. You trip and both collide into the table and onto the ground. Jinx gets up first and then grabs you, putting you into a headlock and slamming you down onto the table with her newfound strength.
She then points the gun down at you.
“What the fuck are you doing to me (Y/N)?” She yells. You raise your hands out above your head and tears start to form in your eyes.
“J-just put the gun down, ok sweets? we can leave but I need you to focus ok, just focus on me, please?” you said your voice wavering. The Gatling gun starts up once more and Caitlyn yells out.
“Drop the gun!”
Vi scrambles to undo her ropes and pleads with Caitlyn. “Caitlyn no!”
Caitlyn's anger falters a bit. “I’m sorry Vi, but she's too far gone.” Jinx lets go of you and giggles a little while raising her arms up and laying the gun onto the table. Once you hit the ground you grab the gun and scramble to get in front of Jinx.
“Caitlyn stop! Please, put it down,” you shout as you get into the line of fire. She looks over at you and glares. Then she looks over at Vi and Vi shakes her head pleading with her to drop it once more. Caitlyn looks back over to Jinx who puts on an innocent child expression which in turn morphs into a sinister grin. Before anyone can react Jinx is suddenly in front of Caitlyn and knocks her to the ground with the Gatling gun.
“Look out!” Vi yells a little too late to warn her. Caitlyn hits the ground and lies still unconscious. Jinx steps over to her and picks up the gun and aims it at her. Silco’s voice rings out again,
“You see, now finish it.” jimx smiles. You rush over and crawl on top of Caitlyn shielding her and look at Jinx with pleasing eyes.
“Get out of the way (Y/N)!” She screams.
“No.”
“I have to finish this! This is the only way things can be right! I have to do this! Now get out of my way!” she shouts.
“I can’t let you do that if you are going to kill her, then you have to kill me too.” she stares back at you scared and confused. “Or, we can drop the guns and you and I can leave, just the two of us, no one to tell us what to do, get in our way. Nothing. No more voices, I promise.” you say.
She stands still not taking her eyes off of you in the slightest. You drop your gun and walk closer to her. “You are not what they say you are. I know you, Jinx. Don't be what they made you.” she looks back at you and lowers the gun. She drops it to the ground and breaks down in sobs. You pick her up and start to lead her outside. In the process of passing Vi’s chair, you take to put a knife and drop it in her hands.
“Jayce has been informed that Silco is here, you should leave when you can,” you tell her. You carry Jinx out and as you two are headed off in the night sky, she looks towards Vi and mouths the words “I'm sorry.”
(I apologize if this seems rushed but this is how I wish things turned out rather than Jinx suffering so much in the show and her becoming the villain. I just hope she has a redemption arc somehow If possible. Anyway thank you for reading and I hoped you enjoyed :)
