My roommate and are getting financially wrecked by his current diagnostic process which started as we stopped being homeless. We have a free ride to town in a couple of days, and we need to get his meds, air purifier filters, food, and household goods like toothpaste and laundry detergent. We had a post up for this but made very little progress and had to reschedule going to town. This goal is raised from the previous post to cover my roommates upcoming appointment.

Reminder that Palestinians in Gaza are being deliberately starved by Israel. Families in gaza are boiling plant leaves and eating them. They're also eating animals and birds food to stay alive. There are reported cases of kids and infants who died out of hunger and/ or cold. Starving people is part of genocide too. Remember how fast medicine was provided for the Israeli hostages, while Palestinians are starving for food and water and getting operations and amputations performed with no medication or anesthesia whatsoever.

Palestinian men and boys in Gaza describe the torture, humiliation, and dehumanization that they suffered during their time as captives of the Israeli occupation forces. “They forced us to make dogs’ sounds,” one man tells the camera. “If you refused to do so, they would beat you.” Another tells the reporter, “When they saw us falling asleep, they would come with a lighter and burn our backs with it.”
“Every hour was like years,” the same man says. “The torture was unbelievable.” Reports have emerged in recent days of mass roundups, torture, and execution of men and boys in Beit Hanoun and other parts of north Gaza. Detainees were identified by loved ones and others in the community who recognized them from the photos the occupation forces have been releasing.
As more footage and testimony are released, the depth of the horrors inflicted upon our people in Gaza are being brought to light. While we may never know the full extent of those horrors, what we already know is enough for any person of conscience to be able to identify as war crimes that are as depraved as they are systematic.
“My message for the world is to look at those detainees,” the final detainee tells viewers. “We are respected people. We are not animals.”

This is Bailey, the bunny you see in the few TSTC posts I have on here (which is that one interaction between bailey and fof lol)
The wheels at the end of her legs are because she can't walk (three boxes of bricks fell on her original legs. Whoops.) And her color palette changed due to living in weird conditions... That dragon looping around her arm is a shapeshiting creature she calls Pepper :P (pepper is an old oc that technically belongs to fof/the creator of fof but I may or may not have stolen him-)
