i have soooo many thoughts about the steph vs sabrina contest last night but the one thing that has been bugging me the most is the whole kenny smith thing. now im not his biggest fan basketball wise but i would say up until last night i thought he was an alright commentator (and by no means would i be any âbetterâ im just a silly girl with a tumblr blog) but i thought his comments about sabrina were kinda distasteful and rude⊠like??? why couldnât he just congratulate her for what she was able to accomplish??? instead of trying to take away from what she did why donât you try to I donât know⊠say something positive?? and reggie miller was right to call him out on it!!

boy do i have thoughts, theyâre literally all i think about!!!!
so w/o further ado...
i like to the imagine that they start hanging out when jayson asks jaylen for lessons in chess. mostly bc jaylen asked him to play one time and he said he didnât know how so he wanted to learn for jaylen. so now every saturday jayson goes over to jaylenâs and he learns chess and learns to like jaylenâs fancy tea that heâs forced to drink. & maybe like 6 months later bc jayson is a love sick idiot he gets them matching mugs and jaylen an expensive kettle w/ a 7 engraved in it.
also, maybe jaylen can like draw really well and is obsessed with jaysonâs leg tattoos so he like draws jayson super cool tattoo ideas and almost cries when jayson gets one of his designs tatted bc like! wow! this is gonna be on your body permanently! and jayson says itâs not a big deal but it totally is.
& maybe they like donât really outwardly express to their close friends (or each other) that theyâre boyfriends even though they totally are. thereâs just something too real about saying the word âboyfriendâ.
and maybe they have like a really big fight one day but they still have to go to practice but jaylen is still pissed so he like doesnât pass to jayson and jayson dunks way too hard over jaylen and marcus yells at them for being stupid. so then like at home they donât really talk about it but make an informal truce by quietly preparing tea together and watching bobâs burgers.
i also love to think about them getting married!
letâs set the scene...
boston some how makes it to the finals.
so like the night before game 7 when jayson thinks jaylen is sleep he quietly asks âwill you marry meâ bc he knows that he cannot breathe w/o jaylen and even though they might not win a championship ring he wants to give jaylen a ring!
so jaylen just pretends heâs sleep until he hears jayson sleeping and quietly says âyesâ !!
so they end up winning the championship ring and after all the parties and stuff one night in the off season jaylen sets up a really cool proposal and tells jayson that he heard him on the night before game 7!
jayson cries!
& then they have a cute little ceremony and use their championship rings as wedding rings mostly so they can wear their rings in public w/o attention from the media.
& theyâre so in love !
and maybe one of jaylenâs old bfâs from highschool chess club hears about the wedding from jaylenâs mom and he sends them a chess set thatâs engraved w/ âthe tatum-brownsâ
