Is vanitor canon?

Based on what I remember from MK's findings, it was meant to be implied (or possibly endgame?) but never fully happened because of the series' early grave.

Personally, I will always have preference to Ray/Victor, but Vanitor is still like the gold standard of shippery in this tiny little sailboat of a fandom lol

There were books and DVDs released, but aside from home media releases and internal staff goodies im not entirely sure.

Hi there, Agent Ray! I’ve got a few questions that I’ve been dying to ask you ever since I’ve found the blog. The Secret Show was one of my absolute faves as a kid and I was lucky enough to be able to watch it when it aired on Nicktoons Network back in the day here in the US, so… I’d like to thank you for making this blog and for keeping my childhood show alive. ^^

Alrighty, here are my curiosities (my sincerest apologies if these have been asked before):

1.) Did the Nicktoons Network broadcast of The Secret Show ever have any major differences in comparision to it’s original run on CBBC?

2.) Are there any character model sheets lying around somewhere, or have they been lost to the void?

There weren't a lot of changes for the US release of The Secret Show, actually! The most obvious change is the redub of "bogey" to "booger" for Booger Ball, but I can't think of any other explict "we have to change this for America, damnit!" moments :P

If there are, they'd probably be on the google drive, but we have that under lock and key due to some bad actors from times ago. I'll see if I can drag MK out of retirement to open a couple slots up for it, lol.

A few questions for you:

Who controls Changed Daily's name changing? It can't be him, because he keeps getting silly names.

Why does he keep getting Silly names?

We've seen Victor becomes chief in the future, what about Anita?

Finally, did Doctor Doctor start T.H.E.M because Professor Professor dumped her, and she wanted revenge?

I don't think it's ever explictly stated who/what controls CD's name changes, but I suspect it's a function built into the mobile's programming. That or The Kid does it over the air

Either way, The Kid is responsible for his names; that's not confirmed in the show but I think it's really funny this 50 year old drunk keeps getting owned by an 8 year old who looks like a Shroomish

I like to think Anita stays a Secret Agent 1st Class. With the parallels between CD/Lucy and Victor/Anita, it's totally likely that while he becomes chief, Anita stays as his "second in command" / primary agent / whatever

There's no real reason in-canon why she started THEM; whether it was because she was a revengeful lover or not is not really something I'm gonna get into (I'm not much of a "PP/DD still wanna be together after all" sort; they've had their time and PP's married to CD anyway so ha ha) but I like to think, if anything, she probably started it because he joined UZZ and she just wanted to piss him off. Nothing relationship-related about it, she's just a zany bitch who thinks being a pest is funny. Which it is, so there.

Nobody has managed to find a proper translation, unfortunately. Any attempts to verify what they're saying usually gets met with the agent getting incapacitated and us having a rogue Imposter running loose...

I certainly hope so! Answering everyone's lore questions w my own thoughts is genuinely like. God it's so fun. Influencing fanon is amazing to me and I'm glad to be such a powerhouse in TSS.

As for the discord server, well, we had one, but inactivity has shriveled the damn thing. I might remake it later, but deleting the old server to make a fresh one will probably get MK siccing reptogators on me LOL

are there subtitles on the dvds which can be ripped as well? (if you dont have access to them fair enough) otherwise i might give it a go at transcribing cuz as a person who uses subtitles myself i feel this pain (i am quite busy but the episodes arent too long so it should be manageable ish)

Do you possibly have any of the captions or subtitles to any of the episodes that you have either ripped/found? I live in a deaf household and want to show this to my spouse, and love that you have been able to keep a true full archive of the whole show. But I can't find captions anywhere. Not even Opencaption or my normal sources for captions have this show's captions/subtitles.

I don't at the moment, ssorry 😭😭 most of the archive was made when I was in my teens (the hd versions are dvdrip by MK but again, no subs) and I never thought to add them. They'd have to be transcribed by ear, more than likely

Is the Fluffy Bunny Show filmed live due to it being hijacked like in nearly every episode or are certain episodes filmed before hand like in Stuff Stealers where they speed up the tape?

I feel like, largely, they're taped live - Pre-recorded shows are episodes of FBS that actually made it to home release (usually due to UZZ not needing the timeslot that day for whatever reason)

This, of course, assumes that FBS is actually a real show... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
