hiiiiii!! i probably still won’t be super active but i’m leaning back into fic writing and scarian is just so easy to write now tbh, like i don’t even have to think about it, so its a nice break from all of the stress of real life <3

okay also i have taken a big break from like mcyt fan content so if i’ve missed anything big/any good au’s please feel to catch me up <3

heyyyyyy besties!! i might be writing something 😋😋 but it’s probably going to be way shorter than originally anticipated </3… anyway the 7+1 fic is down to just a 5+1 because i was lost as to what to put for some of the sections… and i anticipated for each section to be 3k but it might be closer to like half of that so it’s probably going to be like >10k in total…. i also have no clue when i’ll be finished <3

“you want a mending book, right?” scar asked, head peeking barely above the water, the gills on his neck still submerged in the water.

“if i were to want anything, it would be a mending book, yes.” grian cast his fishing rod back out into the water, his voice was careful and hesitant.

“what if i told you i had one?” scar swam closer to grian, still keeping his distance but grian could feel the water shift from the movement.

“you’re not a mermaid,” grian said, eyes closing into a squint at scar. “you’re a siren, aren’t you?”

“i’ve been called many things,” scar dodged the question. he brought his hand out of the water, brushing shapes into the surface with his fingers. “siren has been one of them.”

“you’re trying to lure me,” grian phrased it like a question, a rising intonation at the end. he reeled his fishing rod back in, another salmon.

“that depends,” scar smirked, his eyes followed the movement of grian unhooking the fish and throwing back into the sea. “is it working?”

Having very normal amounts of feelings about this post from @rosaacicularis. Spending 7 hours in one day working on an incredibly overdramatic, self-indulgent painting is the normal response to the idea of two characters holding wrists, right?

thinking about writing a third act break up/make up scarian fic rn…… like where they both realise that they miss and love each other at the same time and their respective best friends have to tell the other “he just left to go find you” and when they finally meet back up it’s a passionate kiss and a breathless apology and confession and maybe it’s raining and maybe they don’t care and maybe they’re getting soaked but they’re laughing and they’re together……

1950s/outsiders!scarian with Scar as a soc and Grian as an outsider(bad boy) and they have a meet-cute at the local diner, Grian ends up scoring a date with Scar and heads to the clockers house on his motorcycle to pick up Scar and then they have the most stereotypical americana date of going to the movies(maybe a drive-in theatre) and head for milkshakes after

i’ve never consumed any media pertaining to outsiders, but this is so real… they would absolutely share a little milkshake and they’d be so gay and in love!!
