How would riku, Terra, and aqua react to babysitting another young wielder and showing then the ropes of how to be a light wielder, and they say to them that they think the realm of darkness is beautiful and ask if they can go explore the realm of darkness to see what else is in there, since so much is undiscovered inside and it's so big, they want to go further than anyone else has and find new things.

I love the Wayfinder Trio a lot, and the theme of darkness in KH is one I think that definitely needs to be explored far more than it has. It's a beautiful concept, so, of course, I enjoy writing about it.

The Wayfinder Trio with a younger wielder who has an affinity for darkness

All three of Eraqus' students recognise the power of darkness, that much is for sure. It has been the cause of...most of their problems throughout their youth, causing irreparable damage to their relationships between each other and to others.

Aqua and Terra are used to young wielders' curiosity. Not only were they young once, but growing up alongside Ventus, especially in the state he was in at the beginning, means there was a lot to be discovered. They really nurtured his understanding of the world and of people, but never had they met a wielder like this one.

Aqua is, for the most part, extremely cautious. She was in the Realm of Darkness for so long...and saw so many horrors: she fell to darkness despite her continuous resistance... No matter how strong or curious a wielder is, darkness will prevail if there is even a crack in one's resolve. So, despite her kind heart, Aqua is very strong her belief that, no, this young wielder may not spend all their time in the Realm of Darkness.

Terra...sees himself in this young wielder. His opinion is similar to Aqua's, but not quite as vehement. He'd much rather sit down with the wielder and tell them about the powers of darkness. As far as he's concerned, there is the possibility of using the power of darkness for good; he gives Riku as a prime example. It's a difficult scale to balance, however, and even one mistake can allow darkness to seep into and control one's heart. He advises the wielder to be careful...to never lose sight of what actually matters, to keep what they have taught them and the powers of darkness entirely mattered.

Ventus' experience with darkness has been very particular and personal for him. He's not quite sure how to feel. He's a young wielder as well and desperately wants to help his comrades as much as possible - the idea that the Realm of Darkness may hold undiscovered secrets is as intriguing as it is terrifying. He's happy to entertain the idea, but whenever the younger wielder speaks about acting on their interests, Ventus dismisses the idea. It tore his life apart, really, and he can't help being afraid of it.

If this younger wielder wants to ever convince the trio to let them go into the Realm of Darkness, then it will take a lot of begging and logical reasoning. It's for research, others can come with me, I'll find a way to stay in contact, I'll find an easy way out... Only when this wielder's upmost safety is confirmed will they let them go.

Can I have how sora would react to having a big fight with his crush? It's canon that Sora is a very kind and gentle soul and loves his friends, and even looks for them even when they don't want to be found. So how would he try to make up with them if they get really mad after the fight and refuse to talk to him or even be around him? And how would riku react to seeing sora go through all this and help him out?

Our sweetheart, Sora... Seeing my first KH request after my hiatus has reminded me of the imminent Kingdom Hearts 4 and the mobile game coming out and all that exciting stuff. Can't wait!

Sora making up with his crush after a fight HCs

I can't imagine what someone would want to fight with Sora about just because of how much of a sweetheart he is. The only thing I can see being a point of contention is perhaps his self-sacrifical nature and tendency to throw himself at danger without really...telling people?

And, as someone who presumably likes him back, his crush can't be too happy with seeing him come back from worlds positively battered and bruised without any warning. It's a conflicting situation to be in for sure. This self-sacrifical nature comes from his love for other people which his crush loves, but it makes loving him hard and sort of scary. What if one day he doesn't come back?

His crush had always been there for him to patch his wounds and congratulate him as a wonderful person and a great warrior - hence why he loves them so much - so finding that, one day, they've just decided to avoid him is kind of scary for Sora.

He's unaware of what he's done wrong at first because his duty comes first, to use the power he's been so graciously given to protect people is his number one priority despite his feelings. *They couldn't be mad at that!*

It definitely takes someone giving Sora the same case scenario for him to realise the effect he's had. A lot of Sora's friends experience the same sort of thing since everyone close to them is often in some sort of danger or another. And, of course, Riku is ever the observant one in the trio of islanders...

Riku proposes the same idea to Sora: *How would you feel if the person you loved the most suddenly disappeared without ever telling you?* It takes a moment for Sora to realise the darker implications of Riku's words and the gravity of the situation settles in.

Immediately, Sora takesaction and makes it his mission to find out wherever his crush had been hiding all this time away from him.

It takes some chasing - they are actively avoiding him, after all - and it takes even longer for his crush to finally relent and give in to talk to him. They're trying to protect themself from having their heart broken...but, finally seeing the errors of his ways, Sora argues differently.

Very in touch with the hearts of others, Sora knows that his crush isn't happy being separated from him for so long. While he might not recognise the reason just yet, not thinking he's lucky enough to have his feelings returned, Sora admits his mistake and promises to be a far better friend than he has been. He'll hold their hand and tell them that they get to know everything about what adventures he's going to go on, that this is his duty not just a choice. If he won't do it, who will?

May I get how Terra, aqua, and riku would react to a young newbie wielder who is new to wielding a keyblade and very interested in darkness and not afraid of it. Not for evil purposes or harm, just very curious about it and it doesn't harm them. They are able to touch it and be around heartless without being attacked or taken over. They just treat it casually like you would a pet or friend. Being masters of light, would they try to persuade them away from the darkness all together?

Hello! I won't bore you with my usual spiel of college and distractions! But here's your request! A really sweet, cute concept, I liked it a lot!

Terra + Aqua and Riku with a Young!Wielder who has an affinity for darkness HCs

Terra + Aqua

After everything that's happened, these two are really very cautious of letting the people they love be close to the darkness. Perhaps this young wielder is a student of Master Aqua's or they may even just be a new wielder they met on their adventures!

And, around the forces of darkness, the two adults are very quick to act against the Heartless, relentless even. They didn't pay much attention to how the Heartless were interacting with the young wielder the first time, simply killing the Shadows without much thought.

Then, the young wielder who was playing with the Heartless begins crying and the two notice something is wrong. They try to ask what's wrong but the child is simply too emotional to respond coherently. Aqua offers all sorts in an attempt to comfort them: baked goods, a story, a piggyback ride from Terra... But nothing works.

The child yells about their "friends" being gone. The two are confused. Heartless emerge from the ground in that moment, and, though the two prepare to slaughter them again, they hesitate.

They watch quietly as the Heartless nestle into the child's body in an almost comforting motion, giving little hugs with their stubby arms. The child laughs excitedly and hugs them back, leaving Terra and Aqua utterly confused.

This...is really strange for them to get used to. The things that have been enemies all their life are suddenly friends to someone they want to protect.

Around the Land of Departure, they might accidentally turn their Keyblade on one or two Heartless if they frighten them in a hallway or at night. Aqua scares particularly easy, but actually begins to find the Heartless cute in time. She makes them little clothes like cotton hats and scarves for the winter.

Terra is more akin to a protective older brother and is always reminding the child to be careful around them and is adverse to the Heartless' touch. Still, he smiles and bares it for the young wielder he treasures and is actually quite interested in how they can tell the difference between the little friends. How can they tell the difference? Do they have their own names? Terra wants to know!

Riku

Riku recognises both the good and bad side of darkness - he's learnt the balance needed to utilise darkness' power. That doesn't mean he's not careful around the forces of darkness, though.

He's shocked to find the young wielder he's been training playing with a paopu fruit alongside a Shadow. The two are passing it and taking bites out of it, the Heartless' teeth jagged and conventionally scary, but the child is laughing.

Carefully, Riku approaches the two and asks what's happening, very calm but cautious. The child tells their Master all about their friend: Sunny, because of his bright yellow eyes. Riku is baffled as Sunny stares up at him, as if it new he wanted to kill it.

But Riku refrains. He's simply very curious and continues to ask the child questions. He warns them about the power of darkness and its minions, but encourages them to strike a balance like he had.

Sunny joins in for training, watching the young child learn to use their Keyblade, his antennae twitching and big eyes blinking curiously. Riku does think it's adorable, but always has a careful eyes on it...just in case.

Hello, Can I request sort of an angsty sora x reader where the readers heart feels super hurt and abandoned because sora doesn't have as much time as he used to, to spend with them cause of his traveling. They feel super sad and a little angry so they leave without telling sora and go to the realm of darkness hoping to find peace and quiet. Not taken over by the darkness but just wanting to be away from everything thats bothering them. Sora eventually finds them but they are still mad and unwilling to leave, thinking he doesn't care. What would he do to get them home again? How far would he go to bring them back?

Ahh, I'm sorry these are taking so long!! I just have so many and college and Genshin is a daily grind and friends!! Gosh, I'm going to do this as a slightly more literary piece to make up for it. Enjoy!

Where the Heart is - Sora x Reader Angst/Comfort

Deep in the Realm of Darkness, the ashen waves that lapped against the sand were nothing more than white noise: a monotonous sound that filled stagnant air. If you focused closely enough on the repetitive washing of water, maybe it would be easier to forget why you were so entrenched in darkness. The pearlescent moon may have been shining on overhead, but it was eternal there, losing its lustre and intrigue.

You sighed. You should be angry, enraged, even, at the fact that Sora's time was continuously stolen away by the worlds. You should be and yet it was difficult to dismiss the aching longing in your heart for the smiling boy. Such a desperate desire to occupy more of his time bested the "need" be mad. The longer you spent with your mind filled with memories of his smiling face, his ecstatic voice, and his encouraging words, the deeper the craving wormed into your heart.

Hearing his voice was solace, like the Sun breaking after a silent night filled with loud thoughts. Still, you chose not to look directly at the glowing star behind you - surely it would be bad for you to forgive him so easily? You had a point to prove and, if mirroring his behaviour was what got him to think more seriously about how it affected you, then mirror him you would. His voice sounded so distraught and Sora's hand lowered slowly after recognising you weren't going to forgive him with the snap of a finger.

He came to sit beside you in the greyed sand. For once, there was no Keyblade in sight, no loud companions (though you did love his friends dearly,) and no mention of some big, life-changing mission that your poor heart couldn't take the anxiety of. But you turned your head away, burying it in your arms perched on your tucked-in knees. Sora smiled, a mixture of guilt and sadness permeating his face.

He describes the integrity of what he's been doing: saving the worlds, you know? You know, but, even still... Am I not your world? Sora is quick to agree. He tells you that you both knew your relationship would be strained by his reputation and his abilities, his connections and his value across the worlds. He tells you that he's going to start taking some time for himself, for you, for both of you: there are other Keyblade wielders now. He tells you that you don't need to forgive him immediately, that he doesn't expect you to simply ignore the awful way he's ignored you recently. You say you don't forgive him just yet. He says that's fine.

The sound of waves return to fill the silence before Sora speaks again.

"Whenever I fight the darkness, it helps to think of the lights that are closest to my heart to keep me going and to help me be strong. I don't think it's any surprise that thinking of you gives me the strength to be the best Keyblade wielder the worlds have ever known!"

He gives you a beaming smile that's filled with awe and pride. He's so proud to have you as a partner, someone he knows is understanding when his words make you want to embrace him on the dark beach of the most desolate place in all the worlds.

And, suddenly, the sound of waves is much more familiar. They remind you both of life back on Destiny Islands: bright sunlight, friends, fish, the ocean, and how, no matter what, your love continues to flow like water.

Can I get headcanons for riku, sora, and ventus babysitting a really hyper kid while traveling different worlds?

Sorry for the small hiatus, college threw a lot of exam intervention at me after my winter mocks so I had to get all that done before I could think about you lovelies. Still, I'm here now! I'm so excited to do some writing about platonic love with the Kingdom Hearts cast!

Riku, Sora, and Ventus babysitting an energetic kid on their adventures HCs

Riku

Now, over the years, Riku has learnt to be patient with a lot of things: his energetic friends, the darkness, meddling villains, etcetera. But he never really expected to be dealing with children.

I can't say he'd be experienced at all, so, after defeating some Heartless attempting to attack a young child in a world, Riku wasn't entirely sure what to do.

They clung onto his leg with an enthusiastic smile, toothy and wild. They were so in awe of Riku's style of combat and the Keyblade itself that Riku almost couldn't get a word in edgewise. Eventually, he managed to ask them where they were from and where he should take them to.

The child told him they were from a different world, that they had been dragged into some sort of dark portal and transported to this strange place. And, though Riku knew he had other things to do as a Keyblade Master, he couldn't exactly leave a child in a strange place with no guardian - they sort of reminded Riku of himself from not too long ago. Lost, confused, vulnerable... This was his duty as a Keyblade Master, right? To protect the light and, therefore, the people of the future?

After bundling the excitable child into the Gummi Ship, Riku knew exactly which world they had mentioned and planned the correct route accordingly. However, the main issue Riku was facing was keeping the kid away from the many flashing lights on the ship's dashboard. He felt bad having to tell them off and drag them away from buttons that would forcibly eject their seats or open a door in the middle of the Lanes Between, but knew he'd much rather be seeing the kid's pout than lose them completely.

Once arriving at the correct world, Riku almost feels sad to let the kid go. Their excitement reminded him of Sora, and their unbridled curiosity reminded Riku of his younger self. He'd refuse to give them the power of the Keyblade purely out of kindness, not wishing his cruel life on this innocent child who knew nothing of darkness or war, but would offer them a way to contact him again.

Riku told them that, if their world was in ever danger or if someone they knew needed protecting from darkness, they could call for Riku using their heart and he would be there.

Sora

I'm not entirely sure if I would trust Sora with a child on his own, much less a hyperactive one. He's quick to notice the light heart in danger and jumps in to protect them, but doesn't know how to react to the clinginess that follows.

When the child starts to show interest in his Keyblade, that's when Sora starts to lighten up to the idea of having a little companion for a bit, even when he recognises that they have to return to their homeworld eventually. So, he sets up the Gummi Ship to head out to this world he's...never actually heard of. Oh no.

Sora might end up taking the child to a few worlds before getting to the right one, choosing to use his heart to guide him. Maybe he also wanted to spend some more time talking to his new friend, but an excuse is always nice.

The two spend their entire journey together chatting about Sora's life and the Keyblade as well as the child's life in their homeworld. Sora adores talking about all the adventures he's gone on and about his friends, and the child watches and listens with stars in their eyes, perhaps sitting in Sora's lap as he (tries) to pilot the Gummi Ship.

Throughout every world, the two hold hands. Sora is eager not to lose such an innocent soul and he makes sure to fight off any darkness while he's there while he's at it. The child watches on in awe and might even try to copy him with a blunt stick on a big rock while Sora is asking townspeople about the child's home.

When the two eventually reach the child's home, Sora isn't excited to let them go, but he's glad they can get back to having a normal life, relieved that they have a nice home to return to. He makes a promise to return one day with the famous "paopu fruit" that Sora mentioned.

Ventus

As someone eager to prove himself to others as mature and reliable, Ventus immediately jumps at the chance to protect the child and swoops in to save the day. Of course, he also just can't sit idly by and watch someone as innocent as a child get hurt by the darkness.

At first, he's not quite sure how to take all the new attention. The praise is strange and it really warms Ventus' heart with a type of pride he never knew he was capable of feeling. He might take a while to take the child away from the world he found them in because he's too busy showing them how he fights with a Keyblade. Maybe he's showing off, but it's nice to have someone cheer for you.

Still, Ventus knows the child is someone with their own life and they absolutely need to return to the people that love them. So, he shows the kid something even cooler than the Keyblade: his Keyblade glider and armour. He places his helmet on their head to protect the kid from the darkness in the Lanes Between and tells them to hold on. They kid laughs heartily the entire time, thoroughly enjoying the ride through the Lanes Between.

With no real way to navigate the Lanes Between and differentiate between where worlds are, Ventus has to entirely rely on both his heart and the child's, asking them various questions about whether they feel closer to home or not. It takes a while, but the fun, exciting ride makes it all worth it.

When they arrive at the kid's homeworld, Ventus makes it his mission to speak to their guardian, making up some story or another about finding them somewhere in the world. He makes a pinkie promise with the child to never ever talk about what they did together, promising that they'll definitely do it again when they're older.

Since sora goes far and beyond for the people he cares about, can I request a sora x reader. Where the reader grew up on the islands with sora and the others. They want to wield a blade one day but until then, They feel left out that everyone can travel to other worlds and have fun while they're stuck on the same one feeling all alone. And even more so feels really hurt, and forgotten by sora, so wherever he comes back home and tries to be kind and talk to them he just gets the cold shoulder. How would he make amends with them and show he truly cares?

I did something pretty similar to this a while back about Sora's crush living on Destiny Islands, but the reader was a Keyblade Wielder so this might be bit shorter! I'll focus more on the reader's reactions than anything else.

Sora x Reader who feels forgotten HCs

Giving Sora the cold-shoulder is possibly one of the easiest ways to let Sora know something's up, especially if you're normally a talkative person. He thrives off of socialisation and absolutely adores talking to the people he loves, so ignoring him crushes his heart.

Maybe it'll take him a while to notice that you're upset with him. When he first returned to the islands, he assumed you were maybe sick or hadn't talked to him in so long that you'd...forgotten how to talk to him? He's not sure, but it's not his first thought to think that you're annoyed with him.

After a while, though, he gets the idea. He really wants to talk to you so he's bothering you all day, every day with little anecdotes his adventures. But that just makes you more upset! It's unfortunate that he's so dense but it's the thought that counts.

He desperately wants you to be involved in the more dangerous parts of his life but that's just the issue - it's too dangerous! Sora needs you to be safe more than anything else, so, unfortunately the only way he can share this part of his life with you is by telling stories and showing you photos.

You'll have to reach a balance with him because, even though he will apologise over and over again, there is no way he'll keep you out of the loop. You deserve to know he's safe as much as he needs to know you are!

Things become a lot easier with the addition of the Gummiphone: now he can call you so you don't miss him as much! (Or maybe that will make you miss him more, who knows?)

After ignoring him for so long, make sure to give him plenty of hugs...no one can bare to see either of you upset.

Do you do other characters from the kingdom hearts franchise? Like the Disney characters Donald. Mickey, goofy. Etc? Or are they just too silly to write for? And also do you have any new Fandoms you've gotten into and plan on adding to your list?

I'd be happy to in a platonic situation! Yeah, of course they're silly, but that's their appeal! Comic relief with their serious moments, but I love the supporting Disney cast!

For the upcoming 2023 disney movie Wish, it's supposed to be about a main character named Asha and her goat named Valentino. They live in a kingdom called Rosas where wishes can come true. They said its supposed to feature a new Disney villain that's supposed to be the strongest the Disney universe has seen yet. 🤯 I'm super excited to see how that turns out. If the villain is as threatening as moana's main villain, than I'd like to see what's in store. It's supposed to be the same 3d animation style.

Ahh! That does sound super interesting! Will it be in cinemas/theatres?? I live right next to one so I'd be tempted to go see it on release day if it is...

You've seen Encanto? 😃 I loved the movie and the songs! 🎵 Do you think they should have addressed the apology that abuela gave to mirabel to have made it better? Some people have said that for all that mirabel had to endure and go through being the only one without magic and abuela blaming her for everything, her apology should have been more sincere and heartfelt. Instead it kind of felt brushed over in the end.

Okay, as someone who comes from a very comfortable family life, I feel like I don't have much of a place to speak on the events of Encanto. Personally, I think it was handled well BUT I want to see how it develops - I can believe that Mirabel accepted Abuela's apology after seeing all that she had to go through to protect her family and the only living memory of her lover besides her children: the Miracle. I understand why Abuela acted the way she did but of course I don't support it.

I want some sort of TV series or a sequel that explores the aftermath of what happened, to see how the relationship between Mirabel and Abuela heals and becomes healthy again...

Since the new year is finally here, have you heard of the new Disney movies that are coming too in 2023? Like wish, iwaju, or elio? I've asked lots of people this but, For the new kingdom hearts game coming out, what worlds are you hoping to see, or would eventually like to see? And some things in the series you want to see being addressed more?

Ooh, I'm not massively up to date with Disney movies in terms of what's to come, but I there are a few Disney movies or titles under Disney's license that I'm hoping will get KH worlds in the end.

Encanto is definitely one of them. It's themes pertaining to the heart, dreams, and morality I think make it perfect for a possible Kingdom Hearts world and some of the characters' motivations fall in line with that of characters from KH so I think they could find some common ground to build stories off of. Terra and Lisa remind me a lot of each other, maybe Aqua and Abuela too - all focusing on the ideas of not being strong enough and wanting to keep people safe no matter the cost to others or themself. Aesthetically, Encanto would make for a beautiful KH world too.

I'd really love for KH to become very character focused in the next few installments, but maybe that's just because I love the characters as they are. It'd be amazing to focus on some of the more powerful characters and their insecurities: seeing characters like Sora and Aqua crumble at the sights they saw at the end of KH3 was super interesting as much as it was heartbreaking. I need to see how characters like Kairi, Xion, and Terra will develop after all they've been through and I hope to see a lot more of them in this next arc/phase.

You excited for the new year and the new kingdom hearts game coming out? I cant wait to see what other worlds are in store for the franchise or if they are going to go a whole different route! 😁 are you caught up with all the kh lore? I sort of just stopped following the lore at the end of union and the Mobile game. It's too much for me to remember and understand without getting confused, so I just see other people's summary's of the lore and just enjoy the games 😅

I've been following the KH lore super closely since I started playing the games! I played them in timeline order barring the mobile games because I just watched the cutscenes online for those haha I've got the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania, but that only goes up to DDD...

As for the new games, I'm so excited for new developments in the lore and the combat, especially in terms of new characters to play. I know we've seen the gameplay trailers for KH4 include Sora, but I'm hoping that it lets us play around with some other characters too!! Missing Link, even if it is a phone game, I also can't wait for! The lore about Scala ad Caelum and being able to run around such a beautiful world...I think it'll be great!

Since TWEWY was added in Kingdom Hearts ♥️ : DDD. I was thinking Misaki Shiki x Male! Reader where the two of them are in an amusement park and reader has a Polaroid camera to take photos of the park and Shiki.

I apologise for this taking so long! Between college and hobbies, I've been stressed for time, but I'll always have time for you guys! She embraces the fun and bright colours of an amusement park and, though she doesn't insist that you match per se, she'd be over the moon to see you looking your best as well. If you let her, she'll happily pick out a handsome outfit for you - after all, if she wants to work in the clothing industry, she must know a lot about men's fashion!

During this "getting ready" period, Shiki whips out a disposable camera.

"What's that for?"

"For taking photos, silly! I want to commemorate this forever! I'll pin them up on my corkboard at home, ooh! And you can take some too!" Shiki keeps rambling about all the different places, rides, and poses she wants to include in the photos, acting like a real model. You can't help but smile and nod.

As soon as she's secured the camera in a satchel bag, Shiki is tugging you out of the door, into your chosen mode of transport and is practically buzzing the entire ride to the amusement park. You both have been planning this trip forever; you once slipped up and called it a "date" which left Shiki in flustered fits of laughter.

Once you arrive, Shiki's eyes are positively glittering with awe: all the flashing lights, the glorious smell of trashy food, the bustling people all with different stories, and, the best of all, experiencing it with you. It's the first photo she takes.

"Come on! Pose with me! Get over here, you goof!" She bundles you over to her side, standing on her toes with the camera stretched over her head. She smiles, teeth and all, almost as if the strings holding such a grin up will snap! Her other hand grips yours tight and Shiki angles it secretly so the photos captures the intimate moment.

Shiki has been to an amusement park before - she's likely gone with her friends from school - but it's a lot different when you're accompanied by your partner. Yet, she can't be nervous around you, especially when there's so much to do with you!

If you're the type of person who likes rides, I'm sure Shiki is an adrenaline junkie too - she'd go on pretty much anything with you, often taking photos getting on the ride, then getting off. As for anything that goes too fast or too high for her, Shiki will cling onto your arm for dear life, screaming from pure amusement, laughing like a complete madwoman. She's enjoying herself, don't worry!

If you're not the type to go on rides, Shiki insist that you try some stall games together: hooking ducks, throwing darts and balls, kicking a football into a certain hole, etcetera.

"Isn't this the part where you swoop in like my hero and win me a big stuffed animal?" she suggests with a cheeky wink. You sigh and rustle the hair on top of her head. Shiki has just wasted at least half of your money trying to win a stuffie, now she's practically begging you to try and win one for her. Whether you're successful or not doesn't actually matter to her because she'll tease you either way.

Of course, you two need to eat at some point. After insisting that you should get the rides out of the way first lest Shiki wants to feel sick all night, you decide to invest in some trashy, amusement park food of your choice. Shiki's all for it: hot dogs, ramen, ice cream, doughnuts, crepes, and pancakes! This is where her taste buds thrive. She makes sure to get a really unflattering image of you both eating. When you try and get her to get rid of it, she just cackles and hides it from your view, giggling while she looks at it.

"Oh! I'm totally showing this to Eri! She'll get a real kick out of it, haha!"

At some point during all of this, you secretly take the camera from Shiki and take some more candid photographs of her. Shiki is so gorgeous without even trying, you know this... She might be playing with the stuffed animal you got her or if she decided to bring Mr. Mew with her when you snap a quick photo without her noticing. Pocket it to put it somewhere special later, or show her, tell her she's pretty without even putting in any effort. She'll giggle and blush a little, telling you off for being such a sap.

It's been so long since I wrote the first part so I've had to go back and reread it haha! But I really appreciate the fact that someone liked it so much they wanted a second part!! I haven't been in the swing of writing full pieces for a bit and since there was no specification, I'm gonna do it as bullet points instead since I don't want to make you wait any longer.

Ventus x Reader Reincarnation!AU HCs (A Part 2 of Sorts)

After the initial shock of meeting you again, Ventus takes quite a while to recover. He knows it's you, he can feel it - your heart feels exactly the same as all those years ago and, though he can't remember much, he remembers you.

It's bizarre...looking at towards the soul of your lover and seeing a different face. Ventus is a sweet boy and he's not stickler for looks - he'll love his partner no matter what you look like! - but it's still really confusing for his own heart. It's been so long now that it doesn't really matter since it would be difficult to recognise your old form, anyway.

But Ventus is the same old Ventus with his rambunctious personality and gentle, innocent soul. He dives in for hugs whenever he feels like it and cradles your face in his hands, eager to gaze into your eyes and memorise every minute detail of your face so he never ever forgets you again.

He remembers your warmth from the day you parted ways a small while before the initial Keyblade War. In every hug, Ventus holds you perhaps a little tighter than he should, as if you'll slip through his fingers and he'll lose you again.

It's difficult for Ventus to think of things you can do together. All the things you used to do relied heavily on the other Keyblade Wielders and the landscape of Daybreak Town. Any of the old friends you had were now...gone...and the town you had once known had met a similar fate in a way. Still, you can pick the flowers in Radiant Garden and make gorgeous bouquets and flower crowns for one another, and he'll take you to The Land of Departure to partake in a big of the old Keyblade training.

Speaking of the Keyblade, Ventus isn't surprised to see that you've kept yours close by: he knows you would never abandon your thirst for justice and desire to protect the innocent - that's just the kind of noble person he fell in love with. Still, he feels a little bad when he gets carried away in training and knocks you off of your feet or injures you, even if you tell him that you're fine. Maybe thrash him once or twice yourself for good measure - you'll both be laughing by the end, I'm sure. Just like old times.

It might take a little while longer for Ventus to introduce you to Terra and Aqua. Your relationship is difficult to explain because then Ventus has to come forth with all these blurry memories about his past that he really can't actually remember outside of gut-feelings. Still, if Ven asks them not to ask, they won't: they love Ven regardless of anything to do with his mysterious past.

Aqua and Terra are very cautious at first. You're...a reincarnated version of his old lover? Hm. It might take some convincing. Terra and Aqua don't exactly have a good history with all the reincarnations of themselves and old enemies, etcetera, etcetera. If something must be reincarnated, it might be an opportunity for darkness to take a hold and neither of them can handle losing Ventus or one another again.

Ventus does his very very best to convince them alongside you. All the memories you share, fighting Heartless side by side, sharing meals in an old town filled with sunlight, and the many worlds you explored hand-in-hand. They warm up to you in the end. :D

Every new day beside you feels like a dream to Ventus. You're something so special in his life he felt like he would never get back, yet, here you are, holding his hands with the same warm smile.

Vexen comforting an S/O who has nightmares HCs

I firmly believe the Organisation have their fair share of nightmares. No hearts...don't be ridiculous, these lot have been through so much and Vexen's story pulls at my heartstrings especially.

He's, sadly, familiar with nightmares, particularly to do with his failed efforts to protect Ienzo. So I cannot see him as the kind of person to dismiss nightmares as ridiculous or dramatic.

Vexen's an observant man. He's obviously not watching you sleep and just happened to be shuffled awake by your shifting, or by your quiet sniffles in the nightmare was enough to elicit such a reaction from your unconscious form. Hating to see you suffer and knowing its bad for your health to sleep through such an experience, Vexen will gently wake you, with actions or words, whichever he knows you prefer.

While Vexen's not the best at straight-forward comfort, he's happy enough to stay up and talk to you about the content and reasoning behind your nightmares if you're up for it. No, he's not spiritual, but he is a man of science - dreams and nightmares have links to one's personal history, so he can't deny that he's curious.

Talking about your nightmares is a very grounding experience with Vexen. He can help you find out exactly what about a specific memory makes you feel scared or angry or hopeless, and can give you some pointers on how to think differently about the whole experience if it's possible.

If the content of the nightmare is something you'd rather not talk about, you've left Vexen with the only option of physical comfort which he definitely struggles with. Still, he can put aside his own awkwardness in favour of cheering you back up. If you think it will be easier to have a calm sleep wrapped in his arms that breathe security and reality, he's completely fine with that. Sure, he'll be a bit stiff at the beginning since he's not used to touch barring old memories of Ienzo, but, when you fall back asleep, Vexen calms down and, eventually, also falls asleep.

Sometimes you might not want to go back to sleep, either out of restlessness or fear, and Vexen is completely fine with staying awake with you. I'm not convinced Nobodies need rest, but, even still, Vexen is used to staying up late because he gets so invested in his experiments. So, naturally, he's okay with distracting you from your nightmare by pulling out any work he needs to do or talking your ear off about some new tests he's been conducting.
