Every 4/13 We Love Fine By Fans For Fans would have a big Homestuck sale.

They got bought out by Good Smile Company US a few years ago, who kept up the tradition for a few years.

They no longer stock any Homestuck or Hiveswap merch, so it's finally dead.

Those who skip the original Dragon Ball and start with Z or Kai are missing out on so much of the full story.

In the Japanese release of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga, everything from the Pilaf Saga to the Buu Saga is a single 42 volume series. None of the volumes are called ドラゴンボールＺ.

DBZ was only separated by Toei with the 1989 anime. American companies sometimes renumber the manga chapters as Dragon Ball Z for marketing, but in Japan that's always just been the second half of the Dragon Ball manga.

It's like how the post-timeskip Naruto manga was never renamed Naruto Shippuden like the anime was.

Dragon Ball is special to me because it's a story about growth with Akira Toriyama often destroying the status quo.

Its a manga and anime about two friendless kids that form a constantly evolving community as they grow up together.

He actually let Goku and Bulma get old!

Finished rewatching Transformers Animated for the first time since it aired and really enjoyed it.

BUT I came to a shocking realization.

The legendary Sari episode that left a huge impact on me as a child didn't exist!

The episode technically does exist, the Season 3 premiere, Transwarped Part 1.

However the actual episode mostly Decepticon fights about Space Bridges.

While Sari dealing with her true nature is a small part of the episode as the B plot, that was not at all how I remembered it.

I remembered a slow character focused episode about Sari dealing with her identity. Full scenes that don't exist are core memories.

Her running away from her dad AND the Autobots. She gets on a train where she worries surrounding people are judging her for existing.

Bumblebee finally catches up to Sari where he buys her a vanilla milkshake and they have a whole heart to heart. She slowly starts accepting herself.

Transwarped Part 1 isn't bad, but the version I remember felt so legendary. I can't help but be a little disappointed it barely exists.

I think when I first saw Transwarped Part 1, Sari's story had such an impact that I forgot the rest of the episode. My brain filled in blanks with false scenes, remembering the tone being like how it made me feel.

But a small part of an episode having such an effect on me for years says a lot about TFA's quality.

The more I think about Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, the more I appreciate Devilman Crybaby for finally giving us an adaptation of the legendary ending from the manga.

Sadly the only good Scott Pilgrim ending is locked behind reading the comic which many SP fans won't do.

I am unreasonably hyped for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom.

I don't love SEED and I really don't like SEED Destiny.

Yet the decade of rumors made this a legendary movie release. Despite being a nonbeliever, the second coming of Kira Jesus Yamato feels exciting and nostalgic.
