Lucie intently watched the world culture network while Salem chefed in the back.

🌹Salem came over to make sure she didn't want to go to the spice festival. Lucie was sure.

He asked if she had eaten yet and ofc she had not so he offered to make dinner at her place.

That was until he checked the fridge. Lucie does not own cooking provisions.

🌹When Lucie got home from work today, Salem texted her asking if she wanted to go to spice festival.

She said no. And instead opted to take a bath (✿◕‿◕✿)

🌹As per Salem's warning, Kai did come visit jk it's not a warning we luv her

Kai came over and made lunch for Lucie ^_^ ++bonus points for people who make Lucie food cause she loves food and can't cook!

They didn't talk too much about the pregnancy, Kai just asked her how it was going so far, but didn't pry for too much information.

Lucie always thought it was nice to talk to Kai.

🌹Lucie tried going out for work today, and it was not fun. Looks like she'll be spending the rest of her pregnancy at the office.

Salem: So you have any thoughts? Lucie: No :( That's why I wanted to talk about it. Salem: :] I already told you I'm fine either way. Lucie: But what about me? Salem: I don't know about you. That's for you to decide. Lucie: But what if I just want you to tell me what to do? Salem: You know I'm not gonna do that. Lucie: :p Salem: Lucie, when people don't have a choice in this it doesn't turn out well for anyone. I want you to have a choice. Lucie: But I don't know. And I don't like not knowing. Salem: ..I want to help you think it out, Lucie, but you're not giving me anything to bounce off of. Lucie: Cause I just want an answer. Salem: And you know I'm not gonna give you that. Lucie: That's cause you're dumb :/ Salem: :] Do you want to have a kid at some point? Lucie: I don't know. Salem: Do you like kids? Lucie: ..I don't know. Salem: O.o You give me nothing and expect so much. Lucie: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Salem: Okay.. how does the idea of having a kid sound to you?? Lucie: Scary. Salem: Why? Lucie: Cause I'm still a kid! And I do a lot of dumb stuff. And I've never thought about this sort of thing before cause I never thought it'd be a problem. ... Salem: We all do dumb stuff and, yeah, we're both kinda young, but I think you change a lot when you become a parent. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. I mean, you're the same person, you just have different priorities. Lucie: ... Salem: For what it's worth, I think you'd be a good mom. I know you sometimes treat people questionably :], but when you do care about someone, I know you really care about them. And I think if you had a kid, you'd really care about them too. Maybe that's just what I'd hope. Lucie: ...it sounds like you're telling me I should keep it. Salem: No. I'm telling you if you did, I think you'd be okay.

Salem: I was gonna make dinner, but do you need my full attention on this? Lucie: Uhm.. I don't--no, it's fine. Salem looks at her skeptically. Salem: What's up? Lucie: ...I talked to Uriah today. Salem: You told him? Lucie: Yea :( Salem: How'd it go? Lucie: It wasn't the worst.. I just, god, I felt like I broke his heart again. Salem: I'm sorry. Lucie: At first he just said that he wanted to see me. And I felt terrible telling him no, but.. it's not just him, I don't want anyone to come up... But, we talked for a while. I think he hated that we were having the conversation, but I just had a lot to tell him, so he listened. Salem: He say anything else? Lucie: That he was sorry, asked if I was okay. He asked when I would come down and if I was sure he couldn't visit. She laughs a little. Salem: :] He cares a lot about you. Lucie: Yea, I might let him come up sometime.. I dunno. I don't really want to, but I don't think I have it in my heart to keep him from visiting. Salem: Maybe you'll feel better about it later on. If there is a later on. Lucie: Yea, we need to talk about that.

🌹There was too much on Lucie's mind. She couldn't fall asleep.

Lucie: I'm sorry, I know you just got home but I need to talk to you.. about.. stuff. Salem: Yeah, of course, come in.

🌹Lucie's phone rings four times before the call is picked up. She was counting.

Uriah: Hey. Lucie: Hi, um.. I need to tell you something. Uriah doesn't give a response until, after a while, he realizes she's waiting for one. Uriah: Yeah? Lucie had wanted to do this alone--she had even waited until Salem was at work to call--but now a massive part of her wished he was here to help. Lucie: God... I'm so sorry about this. Uriah: ...Luce, whatever it is, it's fine. Lucie: No... it's... ... Lucie: I'm pregnant. For what feels like an eternity, Uriah doesn't say a word. He doesn't make a single sound. Uriah: ...I'm gonna come see you. Lucie: No--Uriah. Uriah: What? Lucie: I don't want anyone to come see me right now. Uriah: Why? She can start to hear the hurt in his voice. Lucie: Uriah... I just.. please don't make me explain. Uriah: But I-- ... Uriah: Okay. Lucie: I know it's cause you care, I just.. Uriah: Yeah.. ... Lucie: You don't even know the circumstances. Uriah: God, Luce, I don't need to know the circumstances to want to see you.

Thinking about starting a new save when I get the free time.. which is not now. But maybe over the summer, I want something chill that I can play new packs with (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Salem: I told Kai... about the pregnancy. Lucie: I told Cade this morning. Salem: It's kinda scary, by yourself. Lucie: ?! Salem: :] I didn't think I would be scared--and I don't think I was nearly as scared as you--but, telling Kai, it definitely wasn't easy. Lucie: Yea.. Salem: I don't think I would mind with anyone else. But with her? I think it's cause it's like telling my mom. And then no one even knew that we'd slept together in the first place. I mean, I never told anyone. Lucie: I didn't either. Salem: So then being like, she's pregnant and we don't really know anything... she took it fine, of course, I didn't expect her not to. She's concerned about you so, be expecting her. But, god, it did freak me out a little telling her.

...I dunno. I have thoughts. I like Salem not being *completely* cool as per his usual self. But he is still handling this all really well.

Cade: Does it have to do with Ben? Lucie: No--we haven't talked at all since the.. marriage thing. Cade: So what is it then? Lucie: ..I'm pregnant. It's Salem's. Cade: Your neighbor? Lucie: Yea. Cade: ...that's unexpected. Lucie: Mhm. Cade: When'd you find out. Lucie: Two days ago. Cade: Wow, that's fresh. Lucie: Yea. Cade: Are you good? Lucie: No, hah. Cade: Mh, I'm sorry.. if you need anything, let me know. Lucie: I will <3 Cade: And I know you have people up there, right? Does Salem know? Lucie: Yea. Cade: Is he.. Lucie: He's been great with it. Cade: Okay, good. I just, if you need me to come up at all during this, I can. Lucie: Thanks... I-I don't know if I really want anyone to come visit me right now. I just feel weird about it. But, I might change my mind later, I dunno. Cade: Yeah, that's fine. Just, if you ever want me to, I can.

🌹Last Night's Call Would've Been a Lot More Traumatizing had Lizzie's rant not put Lucie and Salem into absolute hysterics

After Salem's age was clarified, he did have a nice civil chit chat with Lizzie. She didn't interrogate him or anything, it was very chill.

Salem gets why she was a lil stressy after finding out everything with Ben, so no hard feelings were held.

Even if Lizzie did want to hate Salem--which she doesn't--it would be hard to ignore the fact that in everything Lucie had told her, Salem was there for her (i.e. 1 2).

And so with the facts known and Salem chatted up, Lizzie had decided that she really liked him and maybe he was a saint and apologized for being a little *aggressive* earlier.
