its literally genuinely not even hard to refrain from discussing your own weight/how 'fat' you think you are/how you want to lose weight etc. around random people who didnt fucking ask to hear it and could be triggered back into potentially fatal habits by it. like it isn't. it's extremely fucking easy all you have to do is Not Do It. you dont have to immediately fix your self esteem you dont have to THINK anything different right that second you just have to. NOT talk about your body or other peoples bodies when nobody fucking asked. it's one of those things that I guess is culturally normal but once you learn how dangerous it is, genuinely WHY is it so impossibly difficult to just NOT be in a group of people and decide to say, unprompted, on purpose, "god i need to lose weight im sooooooo fat" like I cannot understand that part of it. it is NOT that hard to stop doing that ONE action specifically
