Silent noises within this empty room,
It's so deafening,
The absence of your voice,
Having you dance with me,
In this very same space,
Where the sun would enter,
And filling it with so much warmth,
Where there was passion and love,
Playing our favourite song,
Being welcomed by your smile,
The glistening light that shined in your eyes,
Holding me in your arms,
Swaying to the sweet soft melody,
Whilst you whispered into my ear "I love you",
My heart skipping a beat everytime,
Enjoying these small giddy moments of you, us,
Now you are gone,
Forever lost from my life,
Leaving me to deal with the pain on my own,
The dark shadows consuming the place where you once stood,
Hoping that you are at peace and in a better place...

Letting you explore my curves and edges,
Touch every scar that I have kept hidden,

Savouring the salty taste,
