Commission for my friend Holden, of their partner! They asked for them to be themed like a Sailor Scout, and if I could turn their nebulizer into a magical girl wand/weapon. It's definitely giving Cardcaptor Sakura meets Sailor Moon, but they said it's perfect!

I hope their partner is just as excited about it as they were! It was really fun to stream while I worked on this~

As a kid I had a huge interest in band photography, adverts, concert posters and album covers. So a cartoon band like Gorillaz that could exist in any era, with imagery that mashes up photos with drawings was a very exciting concept to me.

Although I don't make music myself, I have had numerous popstar and musician type characters in my art. Here are Maim (brown hair) and Pluto (green hair) in their own promotional band 'photos'!

I'm unsure what kind of music they would make, but probably dance music with sad lyrics like the songs these pieces were inspired by. Pluto is the one that arranges a lot of the live shows, picks out their matching outfits and writes their music, and it's well known that its 50/50 if she's doing a solo show or not as Maim seems to disappear a lot. Fans seem to think its a treat when you get both of them for a performance.

LEMON SQUAD is inspired by late Mod 1960s fashion, children's storybook artwork from the 70s and the song 'Lemonade' by ZOMBIE-CHANG

CALIFORNIA is inspired by the song of the same name by Grimes, my love of cowboy glam (Elton John, Bootsy Collins) and old televised country music staged performances.

Wanted to share my tattoo progress! These were all done through various points in my apprenticing, but are the ones I'm most proud of so far.

If you are in the GTA, and would like to keep an eye on for when I start taking on clients, my tattoo account can be found HERE !

I hope to learn colour in the future, and would love to do more humanoid cartoon and anime characters, especially custom pieces for people!

It's also important to me to provide an inclusive space for alternative tattoo fans and most importantly queer and femme people, as I've personally had weird experiences as a queer femme person in tattoo spaces. I am extremely thankful for the shop I've been accepted into as they also value these same ideals and I can't wait to be doing this full time with such a great team!

I'd really like to go back and redraw this, or recolour it. It didn't really come out the way I pictured it, as I ended up in a weird part of my life when it was first drafted.

It's inspired by Television Romance by Pale Waves, but visually it's inspired by the album art for Underdogs from Matthew Good Band.
