Mark DiNatale talks about the difficulties of installing a 10 dumpster art piece in downtown Atlanta as part of Elevate 2014. We also speak to 4 of the artists to hear the stories behind their particular dumpsters and get a taste of the marching band from Friday's block party. D_MPSTERS is a Goat Farm Arts Center curated program utilizing 10 dumpsters to create visual art environments scattered throughout the Atlanta cityscape. D_MPSTERS will be on display as a part of the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs week-long ELEVATE 2014 public art celebration. The exhibitions will be open to the public Friday October 17th and continue until Thursday, October 23rd. All exhibits are free and open to the public. Music courtesy of the Elevate Block Party marching band, Caleb Heron and the Relay Social Synth. For more information on D_MPSTERS and a schedule of events head over to http://goatfarmdumpsters.com

After a hugely successful IndieGoGo campaign, longtime Goat Farm resident Nick Pantano has opened Sound Space. In a completely remodeled room at the farm, Sound Space is Nick's vision of what instrument lessons should be. From guitars, bass and percussion to basic music theory, Nick's experiences in several instruction programs along with his time in local bands (including Sorry No Ferrari) have given him new perspective on how music and music lessons can be a part of student's lives. Reach out to Nick at http://soundspaceatl.com Thanks to Courtney and Cora Hall and Erika Audrey for letting us sit in on their lessons!

This year's Hambidge Auction at the Goat Farm Arts Center was curated by Lance and April Ledbetter of Atlanta record label Dust to Digital. The Grammy winning label specializes in rereleasing rare, vintage music, or as they say, "high-quality, cultural artifacts." Lonnie Holley is the only living musician to be released on Dust to Digital. Starting in the 80s as a found object sculpture artist, Lonnie makes incredible but often difficult art. His music follows the same vein, not easily approached but ultimately rewarding. We spoke with Lonnie, Lance and Matt Arnett (art curator and owner Grocery on Home). Thanks to Lance, Lonnie and Matt! More info about Lonnie and Dust to Digital can be found at http://www.dust-digital.com.

Its the final number station recording. This is your last chance to catch a deadnaut and fight forces of the 5th dimension! Our techs have been unable to decode this particular broadcast. It hit the airwaves just last week so our best scientists feel that an invasion is imminent. Decode this fast and don't leave us defenseless. It is suggested that you refer to previous recordings if you have any problems with deciphering. Look for patterns and hopefully you'll have better luck than our brightest. Fight the good fight and best of luck!

Years after Holger disappeared, a storage unit was found leased in his name. Inside the unit, a small collection of old computers and peripherals were discovered. After technicians scoured through the hard drives, only one file was able to be saved - an audio recording of yet another number station. It's damaged and corrupt but perhaps you can decipher the codes. Good luck, hunter. Fight the 5th!

A recording of the 3rd number station was discovered amongst Holger's own private tape library. Notations on the tape label seemed to specify today's date, March 1st, 2014. This particular tape was stored with 13 others in a box labeled only "5th". Good luck. http://fightthe5th.tumblr.com
