Veganism is the biggest way you personally can affect climate change and it’s going to have to happen on a mass scale. Here’s an article to share with your brainwashed peers and parents.

earlier this month it was 120 degrees in Australia , but yeah lets continue to mock those trying to save us in the 12 years we have left to slow climate change’s effects.
What is the worst thing that could happen if we listen to scientists and change our ways, and then it turns out they were lying?
Slowly dying in a mad max hell world to own the libs I guess.

“It would take someone who has never lived that, not seen gender as oppressive to them, not felt it to their core, to believe otherwise.”
honestly i find it mind-blowing that some people really think it’s not a big deal that 10 years ago a gender-nonconforming little boy playing with barbies or something was considered definitely gay and now he’d be considered definitely in need of psychiatric and medical intervention but like in a progressive way.

Men are socialized since birth to think their feelings and thoughts are the objective truth.
They are taught they are generally right about something, unless contradicted by another male with equal or more authority. Men subconsciously believe they are firmly right about things so much they won’t even consider alternative perspectives unless it comes from a place of higher authority.
Men are socialized to believe women are inherently wrong, and that is why women are “crazy”, because it is so difficult for men to even consider the possibility that they don’t know shit.
This is why men often offer strong opinions on topics they just heard about, especially if they’re contradicting a woman.
This is because people will respect a man’s opinion and give his words weight even if he has zero background in the subject because men are considered credible by default.
Women are considered wrong by default and must argue their way to display their truth, no matter how strong their credentials.
Men probably have to tell themselves they’re logical all the time just to keep up the lie that feeds their ego.
Thinking is difficult work for a man who is used to instantly being told he is right, while women are constantly being argued against and therefore exploring the topics more deeply and doing more thinking.
this excellent summary of the problem is from witwitch - please write more!

During the 1980s, more gay men died in New York City during the AIDS crisis than all recorded deaths of American soldiers in Vietnam. You need to know that.

Either male violence is fake, and transwomen are perfectly safe in men’s bathrooms and should stop making a fuss, or male violence is real and thus it’s irresponsible to open up women’s spaces, particuarly ones that involve partial or full nudity, to any man who says he’s a woman. It is one or the other; and even if transwomen are at risk of violence in the men’s room, with self-ID laws the same men they are fleeing would also be welcome in the women’s, therefore they are no safer than before only difference is natal women are at risk too, because equality I guess. I do believe GNC males are at risk of violence but steamrolling women’s rights is not the answer.

““When I was about 20 years old, I met an old pastor’s wife who told me that when she was young and had her first child, she didn’t believe in striking children, although spanking kids with a switch pulled from a tree was standard punishment at the time. But one day, when her son was four or five, he did something that she felt warranted a spanking–the first in his life. She told him that he would have to go outside himself and find a switch for her to hit him with. The boy was gone a long time. And when he came back in, he was crying. He said to her, “Mama, I couldn’t find a switch, but here’s a rock that you can throw at me.” All of a sudden the mother understood how the situation felt from the child’s point of view: that if my mother wants to hurt me, then it makes no difference what she does it with; she might as well do it with a stone. And the mother took the boy into her lap and they both cried. Then she laid the rock on a shelf in the kitchen to remind herself forever: never violence. And that is something I think everyone should keep in mind. Because if violence begins in the nursery one can raise children into violence.””

Yes holy shit. I thought I was non-binary for years till I started really reading radical feminist books and gender critical feminist threads. I’m more secure in who I am now than I was before.
Provoking dysphoria is a form of transphobia.

“Internalized” applies to the oppressed group, not the oppressor.
heterosexual people do not have ‘internalized’ homophobia, and male people do not have ‘internalized’ misogyny. it’s just homophobia and misogyny. the ideas that they hold might in some ways harm them, but that doesn’t make it the same phenomenon as a homosexual person with homophobic views or a woman with misogynistic views. it also doesn’t mean that heterosexual/male people can’t take steps to unlearn their homophobia and misogyny. sometimes i think that they call it internalized so they can act as if they’re the victim when in reality they’re just a plain old vanilla oppressor who learnt bad things from society and now dislike accountability.

Prostitution is illegal because it has the potential to give women ownership of their sexuality and there’s no way that can be allowed.
