Almost Adults
I believe that Almost Adults is one of the most relatable movies.
It’s a platonic love story about two life long best friends struggling to keep their friendship together as their lives head in different directions.
During the movie, we see that one of the main characters Mackenzie (Elise Bauman), is facing difficulties with her best friend Cassie (Natasha Negovanlis) as she hasn’t come out to her yet.
I think that it’s a feeling we all have - we think that things will change after we come out, our friends will not look at us the same way again and the most important thing: the fear of losing your friendship with that person.
It analyses more the big role of the friendship and not the usual love relationship as we are used to watching in lesbian romantic comedies.
The movie was directed by Sarah Rotella and written by Adrianna DiLonardo.
They are the creators of the Shorty Award Nominated YouTube channel Unsolicited Project with 420,000+ subscribers and 130+ million YouTube views.
If you are a fan of YouTube, make sure to subscribe to their channel as they are uploading incredible lesbian content and don’t forget to watch the movie!

Lesbian Jesus
I have to admit that I have an addiction. I’m addicted to music. I don’t know about you, but to me, music is like oxygen.
You put on your headphones, turn on the volume and you connect into a different world; you inhale music and you exhale energy.
This magical sensation is better when the music you are listening to is relatable and even more when the artist is part of the most powerful community you identify yourself; LGBTQ+
I’m talking of course about the goddess Hayley Kiyoko or as well known as “Lesbian Jesus”.
I mean, finally (!) there’s an artist with whom you can relate to while listening to their music.
From the lyrics to the video clips to the choreography, Kiyoko's music is a piece of art.
It took me a long time to decide which song I should include in this article since I’m obsessed with almost all of them. Some of my favorite songs you should also check them out are Curious, Sleepover, Cliffs Edge, What I need and Wanna be Missed.
I was lucky enough to see her performing live in Barcelona a few years and the experience was simply magnificent and full of rainbow colors!
You can listen to all of her songs on Spotify and make sure to follow her!

Feel Good
So, yesterday I finished watching Feel Good; a British comedy-drama television programme about Mae, a girl who is trying to control her addictive behaviors while she's in a relationship with a straight girl.
It’s a six-part semi-autobiographical series of Mae Martin (she writes and stars) which raises important subjects such as family issues and gives you a good taste of the difference between straight and gay behaviours, the difficulties in realising that nothing is stable and even more your sexuality and most importantly the meaning of true love.
Throughout the episodes we will also see an interesting perspective of the struggles a straight girl (Charlotte Ritchie as George) is facing during her coming out phase.
In case music is an important part of your life, then you should really listen to all of the selected songs from each episode! You can find a Spotify playlist with all of them!
I watched the whole programme in one night as each episode is only 25 minutes and I totally recommend you to do the same!

ANNE+ frenzy
Recently, I realised that the majority of people I’m following on social media have been constantly sharing posts of an account called: ANNE+.
As I was curious, I searched about it and I saw that it’s a web-series about a young lesbian who is trying to figure out life.
At the time I was quite busy and I didn’t watch the trailer of the web-series, so I bookmarked it instead.
However, I started seeing that my social media feed had more and more posts about ANNE+ so last week I decided to watch it.
OMG - I now understand why everyone was and is so obsessed about it!
From the relatable plot to the way it’s directed to the design and the actresses, ANNE+ is a highly recommended web-series you should watch ASAP.
You can find the Season 1 available on YouTube. The production is Dutch, but don’t worry, there are English subtitles available!
On their channel you can also find the trailer of the upcoming Season 2 and its amazing soundtrack that can easily stuck in your head - that’s why I also posted here!

-YouTube or TikTok? -Both!
You know, I’ve been following many YouTube channels for the last 7 years and most of them are mainly focused on gay and lesbian content.
However, you don’t always have enough time to watch every single video of your YouTube creators so you end up supporting them by only following them and subscribing to their channel.
This week though, since we have plenty of time due to the COVID19 quarantine, I thought to give it a try and start watching some of the videos of the YouTubers I’m following and until now I didn’t have the chance to spend the time I wanted to on their content.
One of these YouTubers are Rose and Rosie. After I watched one video I got obsessed and I literally watched all the videos from their channel as well as from their two other channels!
Their latest video is about Lesbians on TikTok. For those of you who don’t know what TikTok is, I really advise you to download it asap since you are missing a lot of great lesbian funny and creative content!
Also, don’t forget to subscribe to Rose and Rosie YouTube channel - they are rocking it! @roseellendix
