Soooo I was thinking

What if Julie and the Phantoms were turned into a musical? Like a stage adaptation? Why did I start thinking about this? That is a question that I do not have an answer to

But here are some ideas I have for some of the scenes! Also let me know if you guys want me to go more in depth with this because I’d love to lol

So the opening number would obviously be “Now or Never”. Bobby would be a bit more sinister/sus to make the audience think he had something to do with the hot dogs. I feel like in the song, there should be a little foreshadowing to You Got Nothing to Lose, like Reggie, Luke, and Alex incorporate little bits of their solos. Then of course we have Rose. I think Bobby should simp even more over her than he did in the first episode, but it’ll be more comedic and awkward

After that scene, there should be a little song, that would be about Luke just being excited for their performance, and how he just knows that it’ll change everything. Their “fans” would be singing with them offstage. Then there would be sinister music while the boys eat the hot dogs along with their dialogue. They die, and the stage is lit in blue and red while the fans are singing sadly, as if it’s a funeral. Kind of like “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” from Frozen the musical when Elsa and Anna’s parents die. But PLOT TWIST: the “fans” are the same people who are in The Other Side of Hollywood.

Okay finally, let’s do You Got Nothing to Lose. I feel like in this one, Caleb should have a Leading Player and Squip vibe going on, but modern and vintage at the same time. This song should happen around the same time as the scene for Stand Tall. For this to happen, Caleb will finish the first chorus, come out to the audience and do his thing, and then blackout on him. The pit would still be playing the music for the song while Julie and Flynn are onstage. The lights come up on Julie with Flynn when she starts thinking that the boys crossed over already. Julie goes “outside” and does her monologue, but then someone gives Julie the flower. Julie looks to the flower, then to the audience, and then runs offstage, meaning back into her “dressing room.” Lights up on the Hollywood Ghost Club again. Caleb continues his second verse, but this time it’s even more dramatic and eerie. Right before the chorus begins Caleb will be lit in red light. After the second chorus, Julie is backstage with Flynn again, panicking because the boys haven’t shown up. Because she thinks they crossed over, she goes on about how she’ll miss them. As Alex is playing the drums she talks about him. As Reggie is playing bass, she talks about him. Her and Caleb call Luke at the same time, Caleb tells him to play before Julie talks about him. Caleb finishes his song with a more dramatic ending. Blackout. Julie appears on stage and begins a monologue. Towards the end of it, the intro to Stand Tall begins. When it’s time, lights come up on Alex, then on Reggie. And then Julie begins the second verse. As we all know, Luke will be “flickering” as he tries to appear onstage. This part should be sinister and eerie as well, with red lights covering the stage like before. But when he finally does appear and sings “I’m going out of my mind” (that part in the song gets me every time oml) the stage will be lit in blue and purple (I think purple should be Julie’s color throughout the whole show, and blue should be Luke’s). They move to center stage and sing to each other (and we cry). The song should include more belting from everyone, and a little nod to what all of them had to go through. Like a lot more than “I keep on going when it’s all falling apart”. When the song finishes and they’re all side by side, Julie will hold the last note, like she did in the show. The lights will only be on the four of them. Julie is center stage, and the boys are on either side of her. They take their bows, and the lights go out on the boys. The applause should continue as Julie looks to her sides and silently thanks the boys.

(Possibly) Unpopular Opinion: Big Time Rush walked so One Direction could run.

Listen I love 1D as much as the next person. Hell I dedicated a significant portion of my years on this earth to that group BUT I will die on the hill that if not for Big Time Rush, 1D wouldn’t have gotten where they were as quickly as they did, especially on the American scene.

Also every BTR song slaps but not every 1D song does. Fight me.

I can’t speak for Ginny & Georgia, but in the case of jatp, a lot of adult fans aren’t going to want to follow a teenager on social media, which would account for Madi being less popular on sm. To be honest, I’m one of those adult fans. Madi is great, don’t get me wrong, but she acts very much her age (which is totally fine because she is a teenager), and I just don’t really have an interest in seeing that on my timeline every day. And I know others who feel the same way.

every1 forgot how charlie, sav, jeremy, kenny and tori didin't even support madi when she release music. she could of use the promotion. it makes me sus that all their family/bff shit is fake as fuck and they don't really like her or dont care about her as much as they say they do.

yeah i agree that they don’t support her as much. she’s literally the star of the show, she’s the main character. i really wish they did more and i wish she got as much hype from fans because she really is so talented and sweet. i feel like the guys all hype each other up, but then madi’s just left to do that for herself. it’s messed up and she deserves better
