     “ I have not, but I am willing to try! I do not know if I have the capabilities as you do for such action, but I can always be fixed up if something goes wrong! I would suggest we try it where the children cannot see, in case I do malfunction. I would rather not ruin another show like the other night- I hear the children were very scared. ”

     The stage was empty now. As was the Pizzaplex. All the children have gone home for the day and now the animatronics had a few hours of time to themselves. Normally Freddy spends some time within those hours taking a stroll around the Pizzaplex, looking for any overlooked trash or messes that were missed to help out the cleaning crew... Today? He didn’t do that. Today was hard. Not because of a programming glitch or malfunction. Today, they sang a number that was once famous to just him and Bonnie together. He hadn’t sang it since...  His ears flick and wiggle before resting in a more downward position. His mind wondering and processing old memories. Glowing blue eyes looking up to meet with the bowling poster. At that purple bunny he missed so much. Still smiling. Still waving. If only he were really here..

He never goes up there anymore. He never had the strength to do so. He tired once, twice... but it hurt just a little too much.. today, however, he wanted to try again. He wanted some familiarity after tonight's performance. And so, he marches up the stairs to the third floor. Stopping just outside the Pizzaplex. His feet an inch from the entry way. Mechanical heart booming and racing within his endo. Hands balled into fists at his sides. He didn’t understand why it hurt so much. Why it was so hard. He wasn’t programmed for this much intense emotion... and yet. Here it was. Causing him to take a deep artificial breath to ready himself to enter.. and when he did, it all struck him like before.  Overwhelmed by emotion, but pushing through. One foot infront of the other. He could do this. Through the arcade where he and Bonnie once played... Past the bowling where he fell on his face. The sound of Bonnies laughter echoing through his mind.. and then to the ice-cream parlor. To his stage. The red curtains shut and wearing its out of order sign.. Oh Bonnie. Where could you be? He reached out, letting his fingers glide down the soft fabric. Ears drooping completely and metal eyelids lowering. “ I miss you. ”
