hii, i've returned officially from my hiatus this time-- i promise!!! apologies for missing all the posts that i did in the past few weeks. if you see me reblogging a bunch no you don't!!!!

hi digi! i am sending these late so i hope you see them before tomorrow, but here are some headcanon asks while you're waiting!

- what are everyone's typing habits? who uses emojis the most and do they use them unironically. i feel like ren types in all caps sometimes just because

- whose room is the messiest and whose is the cleanest. on like a sliding scale where would you place everyone from messy to clean

- what sibling traditions do you think alex continued to do with jonas? do you think they ever played amnesia spy girl again. amnesia spy girl 2 electric boogaloo. maybe they made some new ones like watching carmen sandiego together

- any very oddly specific headcanons about clarissa? god knows she needs more love

unfortunately i did not get to these for my playthrough but fortunately i am getting to it here and now! 📻

typing habits: ren is definitely an all caps user but not as often as one might think! he balances it precisely for comedic timing. definitely the only all caps user of the oxenteens though. i also think his grammar varies wildly for no rhyme or reason. sometimes he capitalizes proper nouns and then the very next text he's writing shit like thx instead of thanks. usually falls in the all lowercase no punctuation category though. faster that way. alex is surprisingly difficult but i waaaanna say also all lowercase no punctuation? nona and clarissa are all lowercase but WITH punctuation. although clarissa will do proper grammar when she has something to say and a point to make. which tbh is often enough. jonas is properly capitalized but without punctuation most of the time emojis not so much for anybody! ren sometimes, on the cusp of ironic and unironic. nona unironically sometimes, shes a reactor though, her most recents are all the hearts. i just know clarissa LOVES a good ironic 🤪 though LMAO. nona knows when she breaks that guy out that someones life is about to end

room upkeep: from messiest to cleanest-- alex, ren, jonas, clarissa, nona. i say this because alex is the most likely to just leave her room messy when she has friends over. mostly because its usually just ren, and ren doesn't care. but with his own room i think ren would occasionally have a fit of 'oh god people (nona) can't see i live this way'. not that alex doesn't also have those moments, they're just less frequent. ren has seen her at her most despondent and depressed and vice versa so they just get it, y'know. jonas is a little messy but has a strong boundary, and about once a month gets everything in order. then there's a big jump to clarissa who's just tidy by nature. sometimes things slip a little when she isn't doing great, but it makes her feel better to clean (which she doesn't like and is annoyed by. she says she probably gets it from her mom) so she'll still find it in her to clean even when she's low. and finally, nona's room is very neat. but not because she's a big cleaner, in fact its the opposite. her room always has a layer of dust because she just doesn't really touch anything and when she does she remembers to put it back. boggles ren's mind

sibling traditions: i think, once, they did play amnesia spy girl. well, it more started with alex explaining how it went and they ended up having to act it out together because jonas didn't get it. they talk about how silly it was but deep down they know they both had fun. there was a lot of laughing. and genuinely i think jonas had no idea a show even got made and when alex is like hey haha we should watch this he's like no that is not my carmen are you kidding me no. they do watch it though. better than mindlessly scrolling and never deciding on something like what usually happens similarly, alex and michael were definitely in a "we watch [insert movie here] every year on this holiday even though it has nothing to do with said holiday" family and alex would introduce jonas to all of those films because she was continuing the tradition on her own before their parents got married anyway.

and finishing with clarissa! oddly specific...she gets unreasonably excited to go to a tea house? she goes to one with nona and/or like, her sister one year to celebrate something. thinks the little sandwiches are so cute and gets really into figuring out what fruit-based teas they have. surprises herself a little maybe. you are so right btw she deserves more love. she is still the character i am most attached to for now and always <3
