A broad grin formed on Ben’s lips as he saw Rose’s green eyes start to glow an emerald shade. The first time he ever saw his girlfriend’s eyes glow, he didn’t mention anything about, just watched curiously. He didn’t want to embarrass Rose ever, and since the glowing eventually faded, he figured he’d keep what happened to himself. Over time it would happen more often and the only correlation he could see was that her eyes would start to glow when she was happy. Normally a simple blush on her cheeks would make Ben happy, but when he got her eyes to glow, it let him know that he had really done something good. He wasn’t sure how long it took for Rose to finally find out that it would happen, because he never did tell her. They had gotten into some bad fights where her eyes would glow, but he after their first big breakup, he’d never seen that glow again until this moment. When she turned around and wrapped her legs around his waist, he chuckled softly and moved his hands to rub her bare thighs. “I know you, do. I love you just as much,” he reassured her and smiled widely as he saw her cheeks heat up. Eyes glowing and a blush was a double win. Ben quickly returned the deep kiss, and he pulled her onto his lap more. His tongue brushed along her lower lip, and he smiled as he felt her open her mouth to him. Lightly, his fingertips drew more patterns on her thighs as he felt her dainty fingers starting to unbutton his shirt. He smiled against her lips and moved his arms to wind around her waist, pressing her chest to his as he held her tightly. “I love you so much,” the prince mumbled into the kiss before starting to move his tongue against hers.

Although Rose couldn’t see herself, she knew her green eyes probably were glowing even brighter at his words. As a child, the only time they were got such a vibrant color was with anger or even fear sometimes, not that she would ever admit it. She’s noticed that since being with Ben, her eyes had started to glow when she was completely happy. Rose knew other girls would want him. He was the prince of all the princes, he’s the future King and if Rose wanted to be apart of that future, she knew it would hard, especially for people to accept her. But if her eyes could glow with happiness like they did always with him for the rest of her life, she could handle the hardship. She returned the kiss and felt shivers run up her spine at his gentle touch. Ben knew he had an effect on her and she couldn’t help but smirk back as she felt his lips turn up. Rose couldn’t stand not being able to put her own hands on her boyfriend. She broke the kiss and turned to face him, wrapping her legs around him. “Oh, I love you a lot, Benny.” Her cheeks flushed at her own words but she knew they were true and most importantly, she hoped he knew. She grinned and shook her head before pressing her lips to his deeply. Her hands slide down his front and plays with the buttons on his shirt.
