We're sorry to say but...

Due to the massive amount of inactivity and lack of interest, Nicole and I decided to fully close down the role-play. From this point on, you are all independent role-players with each other and anyone else you find on Tumblr- that is, if you do continue to use your account for role-playing. Which means, you can all role-play among yourselves and other people (or just delete your account), continue using our plot and the plots you created while with us, but you don’t have a main blog to follow and you don’t belong to a specific group (no rules, no nothing). Truth be told, we’ve tried our hardest to fix this inactivity and it does not seem to work. While most of you have a decent excuse as to why you’re not posting, others seem to make up excuses after excuses and don’t show any interest what so ever for this role-play or their characters. We might sound like we’re nagging all the time because of the inactivity, but if you were in our shoes and worked so hard to make this role-play last (for the seven months that it did), you would understand how much this one little role-play means to us.

We understand that you all have lives outside of the role-play, outside of the computer, but you signed up with us and you have to keep up your commitment. It’s like joining a club at school. Showing up for just the free food and not actually participating in the discussions and activities isn’t being a member at all. That is equivalent to signing in, posting in the OOC blog about how you’re ‘online’ then calling it a day. No. We want you to be active and post things in character, not out of character.

Regardless, this blog with be opened for the next couple of days for those of you who are inactive. Once you sign on, we hope you check the ‘main blog’ and notice our post.

Nicole and I will be keeping our Ginny and Hermione characters and we will unfollow anyone who isn’t willing to continue role-playing. We hope most of you would like to stay, but from this point on, you don’t belong to the ‘postwargoldenage-rp’ blog anymore.
