This book is a sequel to Girl, Stolen.  Cheyenne, the main character, is blind and she is waiting for the trial that will make her captor, Roy, guilty of kidnapping her in the first book.  Since she was kidnapped, her father and stepmom hired a bodyguard for her.
I really liked this book.  I liked how the point of view changed, so I could see what the criminals were thinking, as well as Cheyenne.

This book was about a girl named Rachel and a boy named Ethan.  Both of them lost a brother at the amusement park, Happy World, and Rachel would like to find out why and put a stop to the owner of Happy World.
I thought this book was good.  Sometimes, it was a little confusing to figure out whose point of view each chapter was in, because sometimes it switched.  I liked how almost every other chapter was a section from Jason’s notebook.

This book is the second book in the Skybound series.  It is about twins who are separated.  One is sent to the Sky Castle (which controls their city) and the other stays behind.  The one sent to the Sky Castle must use a powerful ghost eagle to win a war.
I liked this book.  At times I thought it was too gruesome, but overall it is fine.  There are lots of twists and cliff-hangers, especially at the end, which I found exciting.  I’m looking forward to when the third book comes out.

This book is about a group of campers that get stranded in the alaskan wilderness after an earthquake.  They decide to hike to the nearest town, but what they find on their hike changes their plans completely.
I really liked this book because it was creative, but not unrealistic.  I liked the ending, especially because it could have ended in any way.  I think there should be a sequel to this book.

This book is about four people who set off on a dangerous journey to kill the kingpin, who is plotting to take over the world.
I thought this book was good.  At times it was hard to follow, since there are so many different people and places.

Larkin, who has magical powers, is sent to an underground world with seven other magical people to try and defeat the evil leader that is terrorizing the above-ground world.
I liked this book.  I thought it was a little confusing at the beginning, but once I read more I understood it.

The book is about Star Scouts and how they need to learn to integrate.  They were segregated because they breathe different air.  The different Star Scouts need to learn to be friends since they will be in the same troop.  The main character has a friend that breathes different air and her other friends don’t like her new friend.  There are also robots and one of the scouts accidentally sends them to invade earth because she is mad.
I liked the book because it has very good pictures and a good story line.  Also, the author is really good, and I’m a boy scout so I can relate.

Princess Amora Montara must prove her mastery over soul magic in order to be named heir to the throne of Visidia, an island kingdom.  When her demonstration goes awry, she teams up with Bastian, a charming pirate with a magical boat in order to uncover the truth behind her magic and her kingdom.
Well paced and had me gripping the cover with anticipation at every page turn.  Grace’s writing style is both enchanting and refreshing.  All the characters are fairly well fleshed out and interesting, with the main characters being admirable and likable.  I felt that there was a perfect balance between world building, detail, and humor to keep me invested even beyond the end of the book.

Jack and Zita join forces with new and old friends to fight the biggest evil yet!
I loved this book!  It was a great conclusion to both the Mighty Jack and the Zita the Spacegirl series!   I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes graphic novels and/or adventure books.

This book is a story about a young man who lived/survived in the Holocaust.  It describes his whole journey, and the struggles he dealt with throughout his life.
I liked this book.  It doesn’t take long to read, since it is a poem book, but it is short and sweet.  I usually don’t read poem books, but I thought this one was very good.  The illustrations were a nice touch as well.

Toli, Toli’s sister Petal, and her best friend are taking the baby dragon, Ruby, back to the dragon’s lair/home.  They have to face dangers along the way.  Will they survive?
I liked this book because the dragons made it more interesting.  It also had funny parts in it, but the author left me on a cliff-hanger.  I want to know what happens to Toli when she leaves and comes back.  I would recommend this book to others because it is an interesting read.

This book was about the Blizzard of 1978 and how one man’s action led to a series of events.
Very well written and easy to follow without nautical knowledge.  I felt part of the story and it was hard to put down.  Gives an excellent perspective of what happens during a bad storm and ocean rescues.

This book is about 4 girls who get pregnant underage and what they go through during their pregnancies during the 70′s.
Very well written and I really enjoyed how the four lives were intertwined by the end.  It put a lot of perspective that unplanned pregnancies have nothing to do with race, culture or means.

Marty Frey is a boy detective who likes solving cases.  No matter how big or how small, he can solve the case.  In this book he solves three mysteries in one day!
I think it is a funny book because he rhymes all the time, and if somebody else rhymes he says: “Maybe it’s time we all talked rhyme.”  It has witty rhymes!  If I had more books in the series, I would really want to read them!

Generations of baking and making memories at the bakery until the tradition is broken.  Going off with a band and trying to find a replacement for the bakery.  Instead, everything took a turn into a romantic ending.
The book was not the best that I’ve read, but I loved the twist of addition of romance and friendships.  I was a bit confused in the beginning but caught up and ended up really enjoying the story line.  Very unique plot that I’ve never seen before or read in my experience.

Friendships, memories and heartbreaks.  A girl finding out about her family secrets and finding her true self.
Not the best or greatest book, but I enjoyed the very dramatic parts.  Well written and constructed.  I think that for me, I wouldn’t read it again but I would suggest it to others.

Teens writing about their personal experiences of love life.  The authors write back with their own stories and great advice.
The best book I’ve read.  I’ve gone through some of it, so it was nice to get some advice from someone and read about other kinds of stories and that there are other people out in the world with the same problems.
