Yay, we did it!! Thank you all again so much, I would not be where I am, without you all! I'm thrilled to be a quarter-finalist and I actually thought that I had an entire week before voting resumed, but apparently not. Voting for me resumes this coming Sunday until Thursday. I'm heartbroken, shattered & feel so lost. I miss & love him so much. For those that are close to me, know what a loss this is to me. Gpa Bob AKA Robert Lawrence Miller, was like a Dad to me. Known him since '98. I ended up with his son, back in '00. We didn't really get along @ 1st & kinda butted heads until my daughter, Ashlyn, was born. He always accepted my oldest as his own g-daughter. We ended up becoming bf's over the years, from about '03, on. He was a saint. He carted me around when I didn't have a license & would rescue me at 3am if need-be. He always let me know how much he loved me. He taught me what love really is and also how I should be treated. This is by far the closest person to me that I have ever lost. The past few years, I had to return the favor, for all that he did for me. After a couple of surgeries, Alzheimer's set in & then Cellulitis. It was just one thing after the next & I felt so awful for him. So I would "kidnap" him sometimes & take him fishing, or just bring him over to hang out so he could get out & still feel part of this World. There was many things he wanted to do yet. I know he loved me & that's why this is so hard. I hope he's one of the people there to take me when I go. He passed Fri the 13th @ 12:37am, which = 13 when you + it. 13 is no longer a lucky # for me. I was there w/him for a few hrs before he passed. I watched a man go from joking w/us like he did a few yrs ago before the Alzheimer's got bad, to just gone from our lives in an instance. I was kinda a believer before, but he looked up & said, "I'm coming Mom", that really made me a true believer. He always wanted to believe, like me, but was unsure & scared to die. So I was comforted w/the fact that He's w/her now & he isn't in pain anymore. He was suffering badly. He lightly squeezed my hand one last time before he took his last breath. I'm glad I was there to comfort him, but @ the same time, it was the most horrific thing I've ever been through, watching one of the people I love most go through something like that. I'm not feeling very well this weekend. I've been so busy lately that I've been running myself into the ground. My doctor's visit yesterday was basically a joke. I was given the orders to have lab work done, but told I had to fast before doing it. So I fasted all night and morning just to find out when I went to go have the lab work done today, that the doctor, or nurse practitioner rather, never bothered to send the order down!! So I have to wait and fast again, and find time to go do the lab work again. Not to mention the nurse practitioner and another doctor got a good laugh out of me having a dent appear in my head. They acted like it had been there my whole life and I just never noticed it. I called my mom and ask her, and she confirmed that I've never had a dent in my head, two finger-widths wide. I know what my damn head feels like, I wash it almost everyday of my almost 38 years of life. Either way, you don't make a patient feel heckled about an ailment, it's just wrong. For them to not take me seriously, it infuriates me. I've been dizzy, lightheaded, had headaches, memory loss and extreme hair loss. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with that but they didn't seem to give a crap. All this nurse practitioner seemed to care about is pushing the Singulair onto me for my allergies and urticaria. I wonder what kind of kickback they get for pushing those meds. I'm already on antibiotics for strep throat and now I have some sort of cold to go along with it. Probably from going to the hospital because that's the only time I ever seem to really get sick is after I visit that place, or when the kids bring it home.. I just wanted to vent. Anyhow, I hope everyone is having a better weekend than I am. I hope to be more active again on social media soon. I've been working in the horror industry for a little while now, but the past couple of weeks since I haven't been filming, I've been working at an actual horror house where someone was recently murdered. I I've just been doing the construction and painting but I feel bad for whoever had to clean up the mess and tear it out. So if anybody wondered where I've disappeared to, I've just been busy working my butt off, trying to pay my bills because doing Independent films is awesome but it doesn't always pay the bills. I had such an amazing time last night in Chicago watching Lee Camp @realleecamp perform his comedy show live! I got to meet him and talk to him briefly, which was awesome, although I could sit and talk to him for hours about stuff. His openers, Krish Mohan & Eleanor Goldfield, were great too. I ended up getting Lee's book called Moment of Clarity and he signed it for me. I've met a lot of famous people and I rarely ever get star-struck, so to speak, but I felt like a little girl getting to meet Santa for the first time LOL I really respect Lee and everything he does, even though I may not agree with every little thing he says. I don't get into politics at all really on Instagram, Tumblr or Facebook, but my Twitter page is what I consider my political page, I guess. I can't believe it's already been 20 years since your beautiful face came into this world! Happy Birthday to my daughter, Aleah (@necrophxlia )! I'm so proud of her, she's taught me so much over the years. I know it's supposed to be the other way around, but I've learned so much from her and admire her individualism and the fact that she never apologizes for who she is.
