This whole thing is a massive trip, but there was one paragraph that I wanted to focus on:
“We later found out that Hamas had offered on October 9 or 10 to release all the civilian hostages in exchange for the IDF not entering the Strip, but the government rejected the offer.”
Hamas offered to release the hostages mere days after 10/7. All they wanted was for IDF to not enter the strip.
Israel refused.
This is coming from Israel's news outlet.
Israel doesn't care about the hostages. Because it was never about the hostages. It was always a land grab.
