Chapter 17: The Wedding
It had been a few days of wedding prepping and getting to know the layout of her new home. Renva still participated in her early morning training with her brother, not refusing no matter how much her muscles burned. Daemon came to them one morning as they practiced on the beach, to discuss what would happen with her training once Cregan left. Cregan asked the Rogue Prince if he or another knight at Dragonstone would train her, Daemon had given her brother a small smirk and agreed that he himself would do it. He would train Renva along with Baela, and occasionally Rhaena. The younger of the twins didn’t dislike training, but she preferred more ‘ladylike’ hobbies.
So Daemon and Baela would accompany them on the beach when training occurred. Baela and Renva often practiced against one another. Both fighting until they couldn’t and would end in a draw. Daemon and Cregan both gave remarks to the girls on how to fix their stances, postures, and how they can use their leanness to their advantages. Both girls improved greatly, and to Renva’s joy, she bonded quickly with Baela. It was a fear of hers that due to the betrothals and decision made from them Baela would hold it against her.
The twins found comfort in Renva, almost as an older sister of sorts. The girls were often seen around Dragonstone, reading books from the library and practicing Valryian. The twins would help Renva practice the lines she must learn for her wedding ceremony, and in return Renva told them the legends about the wisps. When the girls weren't seen together, Renva could be found spending time with Jace, getting to know more about one another. They would take walks on the beach under the chaperone of Renvas new handmaiden, Ceria, who was 10 years her senior.
While the betrothed were on their walks they would discuss memories from their childhood. Jace told Renva the story of the ‘Pink Dread’ which she slightly scolded him for, but ultimately found a little funny. Renva spoke of the north and their traditions, along with time her brother Ranvir, almost took her head off with his sword for scaring him during training. The two could be heard laughing from the beach in Dragonstone, bringing joy to not only Rhaenyra but also Cregan. He then knew that his sister would be happy spending her days with Jacaerys.
It was finally the day of the wedding. Rhaenyra and Ceria readied Renva, helping her first into a chemise, then a corset. They opted for skipping a petticoat due to Renva’s detestment.  Then came time for her gown, it was a red floor length silk gown. Renva admired the dress as she looked at herself in the mirror,  the neckline was off the shoulder, with embroidered gold details running down the arms of the dress. Rhaenyra came up behind her placing an overcoat that was grey with a lighter grey and red detailing to match the dress underneath. Once the dress was completed, Ceria and Rhaenyra approached behind her with the ceremonial robes. They were a creamed color with the edges dyed a light red color.
After placing golden shoes on Renva sat at the vanity that was placed in her temporary chambers. Rhaenyra took over and braided Renva’s hair, her dark locks forming braids that only the Targaryens wore. Once she finished Renva examined her hair, finding big braids going straight down from the front of her head all the way to the back. The sides of her head however were braided in a way the warriors in the north wore them. They were much smaller and tighter braids that followed along the side of Renva’s head. Woven onto the ends of her braids were small golden cuffs.
Renva smiled at herself in the mirror and spotted Rhaenyra dismissing Ceria. Once Ceria exited the room, Rhaenyra came up behind Renva placing her hands on her shoulders, Renva then placed her own hands on top of the Princess’s. Leaning down, Rhaenyra placed three small kisses on Renva’s temples, a gesture she only did with her children and husband. Renva’s eyes filled with tears,
“Oh sweet girl, don’t cry. Are you okay?” Rhaenyra worried for her, she knew how anxious this day could be for her.
“I am fine your grace. I am happy but I am also saddened to be leaving my family.” Renva wiped her tears away and gave the Princess a reassuring smile. “You won’t truly be leaving them. You and Jacaerys can always visit on dragonback, or your father and siblings can come visit here whenever you’d like.” Rhaenyra told the young girl. “However it is time for the ceremony to start.” Rhaenyra led Renva out of the walls of Dragonstone and to an alcove near the beach which held an alter. Before reaching the alcove, Rhaenyra stopped and Renva saw her brother approaching in Stark house color wedding attire.
“I can take it from here Princess, I believe you have someone waiting for you as well.” Cregan spoke kindly to Rhaenyra as she nodded and went towards the alcove. “We can always run if you need, they might have dragons but I will get you off this island.” Cregan whispered making sure the Princess was a good distance away. “Cregan, all is well. Let’s not keep them waiting.” Renva smiled as her brother locked arms with her. She gave him a reassuring arm rub as they walked towards the alcove. “I should be comforting you.” Cregan whispered, “I was always better at it.” Renva smirked back. “You look beautiful by the way, father and mother would be proud of you.” Cregan gave a small smile as they approached the alcove, seeing the whole mixed Velaryon and Targaryian family. “Thank you brother.” Renva whispered back.
As the two Starks walked towards the altar, Renva took notice of Jace’s siblings. Daemon, Baela and Rhaena stood towards the side where her own family should’ve been, letting Renva know that they were there for her. While Lucerys, Joffrey, Aegon the younger, and Viserys II, stood with Ceria waiting for Rhaenyra to join them. Behind the family members were families of high nobility, and the knights that resided on Dragonstone. Rhaenyra stood behind Jacaerys, as the Septon stood infront of the altar. The altar itself held what looked to be a golden chalice, along with a few white cloths and one red cloth with gold embroidery. The last thing on the altar that Renva noticed was what looked to be dragonglass.
Looking away from the altar, Renva looked at her betrothed. He wore a similar robe, with a bigger headpiece. To Renva he looked ethereal, his brown hair looked to have been trimmed recently. He was tapped by Rhaenyra which made him glance up and make eye contact with Renva. Renva saw a smile grow on his face, it made her stomach flutter. Knowing that in just a few moments the two would be married. Cregan led Renva past everyone and to where Jace was waiting. Once standing in front of Jace, Cregan let go of his sister's arm and gave her a small embrace. Kissing the top of her head before turning to Jacaerys and giving him a small nod then walking to where Daemon stood with his daughters.
“Hi.” Jacaerys softly spoke to her, “Hello Jacaerys.” Renva returned with a small smile. The two held eye contact as the septon began to talk.
“We gather here today to join Jacaerys Velaryon and Renva Stark into one union, through the ways of Old Valyria.” Renva and Jace are then instructed to each grab a piece of dragonglass, and to make a slice into each other's bottom lip. Jacaerys went first, grabbing his shard of dragonglass, he held Renvas bottom lip with his other hand to steady it. Slowly he slid the sharp dragonglass along Renva’s lower lip, letting it make a clean cut. Jace then put his thumb onto her bottom lip, swiping some of her blood onto his finger he made the Valyrian fire symbol on Renva’s forehead. It was then Renva’s turn. She clutched the piece of dragonglass so tightly in her hand, she felt it almost slice her. With a shaky hand she steadied Jaces’ lip before she rised the glass and too cut his bottom lip slowly. She fluttered her eyes back up to his momentarily before dabbing her thumb onto his lip and marking his forehead with the Valyrian symbol for blood.
The two then held eye contact again while the septon spoke. Renva felt like it was just them two and the septon, she almost forgot about the groups of people watching the ceremony. It was now time for the two to slice their own palms to join blood. The two did as instructed by the septon, then joined hands. The septon held the golden chalice under their hands and let their blood mixture drip into the cup. Once there was a decent amount in the chalice, the septon wrapped their conjoined hands in the red cloth. At the point in the ceremony they both had to recite the vow together, “Iksi sir mēre ñelly, mēre prūmia, mēre soul sir se forever.” (We are now one flesh, one heart, one soul now and forever.) Once they recited the vow, they were handed the chalice, Jace first then Renva. Each taking a small sip from the chalice, their hands were untied, each given a white cloth to hold to the wounded palm.
Renva met Jaces’ eyes again, the two feeling the stares of the onlookers waiting for what they know will happen. As the two leaned into one another, Jace raised his non bloodied hand and cupped the left side of Renva’s face. Renva placed her good hand on the crook of Jaces neck, as their lips connected they heard a round of applause. The two smiled into their kiss as they heard the cheers of the people, as they broke apart they connected their foreheads. Renva let out a small giggle, “I’m glad it's you Renva, I really am.” Jace spoke softly to her before they both turned, locked arms and walked back to Dragonstone.

Chapter 16: From a Mothers Perspective
Two days passed quickly, Renva took time out of her days on the ship to spend time with Signe who was forced into a cage for her own safety. Renva knew her direwolf would jump overboard if it meant she had to stay on a ship for two days, ever since she was a pup she hated the water. Renva had also spoken to Rhaenyra quite often during the journey. It not only calmed Renva’s nerves about the pressure of the Valyrian wedding, but Renva could sense it eased the Princess’s nerves knowing how committed Renva was to her son. They were to dock soon, or at least that's what Cregan told her not too long ago when he found her with the children again.
While she held a special spot for little Joffrey in her heart, Aegon the younger and little Viserys gave Renva a certain comfort. They were so pure and innocent, not knowing the cruel world they were living in. It didn’t take a scholar to read the tension between Rhaenyra and Alicent. It might have been her lessons from her father that helped her read people or just her own intuition. The first night at the Red Keep, she could cut the tension between the two with a knife. Renva pondered if she made the right choice, if denying the both and settling with a nobleman from the north would have been a better choice. But then she would think about Jace, and how kind he is and has been in regards to the betrothal. It was then she knew she made the right choice.
“Renva, did Lord Stark tell you we would be arriving soon?” Renva turned her attention to the Princess who had entered so quietly, Renva thought she floated into the room.
“He did, Princess, thank you.” Renva turned her attention back towards the children who were quietly playing on the ground. “I noticed the first time you sat with them that they loved you. You have a gift, Renva.” Rhaenyra spoke as she slowly lowered herself onto the ground. “Princes please sit in a chair, you should be comfortable during your pregnancy.” Renva quickly got off the ground to try and help the Princess back up. “It is quite alright, I like to spend this time with my children. They’re growing up faster than I’d like them to.” The love she had for her children was evident in her tone. “At least let me fetch you a cushion.” Grabbing one from the chair and offering it to the Princess, who took it with no fight.
“How are you so good with them? You are the youngest of your siblings, am I correct?” The Princess questioned. “I am. I’m not sure if you know but my eldest brother was previously married. Unfortunately, during the birth of my nephew, his wife Arra , passed. She had succumbed to childbed fever. Rickon II wouldn’t calm for the wetnurses. He would eat fine, but when it came time to sleep, he would scream into the hour of the owl. Only sleeping when he tired himself out. I know it is improper for some to care for children that aren't your own, but I could tell my brother was struggling. He had lost his wife and now couldn’t calm his son, I felt like I had to do something.” Renva turned when she felt a hand on her own. Rhaenyra felt for the young girl, she too has had that sense of helplessness when it came to her own children. She couldn’t imagine what it must felt like to watch your brother struggle at a time of deep need.
Renva gave the Princess a small smile and continued, “So I would go into the nursery and calm Rickon on my own. I think not having his mother took a toll on him, that first time I held him in my arms he calmed in an instant. From that day I helped as much as I could, I love children. They bring out a part of us that we never knew was there.” Rhaenyra scooted closer towards Renva, “I want you to know that when I was a little younger than you are now, I lost my own mother to the birthing bed. These special moments such as weddings and pregnancies are hard with them not being here. You young wolf, are not alone during these times. I will be there for you when the time comes. You are one of my own now, a wolf in a family of dragons.” Renva’s heart clenched at the words. Tears coming to both Rhaenyra and Renva’s eyes. Renva was careful as she leaned in to give the Princess a hug “Thank you.”
They stayed in that position for a little while until they heard the crew, stating that the ship had docked and was almost ready for deboarding. Renva helped the Princess stand, before she left the room in search for her brother. She found Cregan at the helm of the ship talking to the captain. He hadn't noticed her approaching him from behind, until he felt hands go around his middle. “I love you dear brother.” She muttered into his back which for once was void of multiple pelts of fur and an armored chest plate. “I love you too little wolf. Let's get off this boat and onto some solid ground huh?” Cregan turned and led his sister to signe’s cage.
“Are you ready to get out and into our new home?” Renva spoke to Signe, unlocking her cage and leading her to the ramp to get off the boat. As she looked up she saw Rhaenyra reuniting with Daemon and her children, along with a plethora of servants to help gather the supplies off the ship. She longed for her father and Ranvir, for one last hug before her whole life would change.

I just wanted to apologize for flooding the x reader tags, it won’t happen again. I try not to describe my character in my Jacaerys Velaryon fic (and most characters) so my fics could be read as an x reader if wanted with just a name holder. I will not tag it as such from now on

Chapter 15: Setting Sail
Sunrise came quickly, the Princess’s youngest children were already on the boat with their handmaiden and wetnurses. Renva and Princess Rhaenyra were talking about the details of your wedding, and what was to be expected from a traditional Valyrian wedding. Cregan watched as the elder Princes made their way to the boat with Daemon, all in what he could only assume were riding leathers for their journey. Spotting her husband Rhaenyra excused herself and made her way over to them discussing the preparation Daemon would have to do once he reached Dragonstone. Traveling by dragon was faster than by water, the boys would reach Dragonstone a full day ahead of the boat. Renva walked up to her brother who looked to be on edge.
“Are you alright?” Cregan looked down to his sister.
“I should be asking you that question dear sister.” “I am perfectly fine dear brother, I do not regret my decision.” Renva glanced at her betrothed who was in an elated conversation with his brother. “I wish you had more time.” Cregan said while pushing a strand of his sister's hair back out of her face, a habit he took from his mother before her passing. “You always say you wish for more time, for yourself and for others. But you don't ever truly live in the time you have dear brother. I fear you are trapped in your past.” Cregan swore his sister knew him better than he knew himself. “You do have a way with the words Renva.” “Well someone in our family has to be wise, and it sure isn’t you or Ranvir.” Renva giggled at her brother's reaction to the joke.
“I believe it is time to go.” Rhaenyra spoke, breaking the conversations that were taking place. “I shall see you three back at Dragonstone.” She turned to her sons first placing three chaste kisses on their temples. Renva yearned for that maternal comfort that she so desperately lacked, after a brief goodbye to her husband, Rhaenyra boarded the boat. Cregan gave a curt nod to the three Princes standing on the dock as he followed behind Rhaenyra onto the boat.
“I hope your travels are kind, Lady Stark.” Lucerys was the first to step to Renva giving her a small bow, “Oh Lucerys no need for such formalities, we will be family soon.” Renva entrapped Luc in a hug which he was hesitant to reciprocate. When the two separated Renva gave him a warm smile to show everything was alright.  Lucerys turned back towards Daemon as Jacaerys stepped forward.
“I shall see you in two days' time. I hope the seas will be kind to you all.” Jacaerys said, taking Renvas' hands in his own. “I hope the skies are calm during your travels, I don’t know much about flying but I can assume it isn't ideal to fly through a storm.” Renva gave his hands a gentle squeeze. The two looked in each other's eyes for a moment before breaking out in small giggles. “I shall let you go so the boat doesn’t leave without you.” Renva pulled Jacaerys into a hug, she felt him give her a tight squeeze back before the two separated.
“Prince Daemon, I wish you luck leading these two home on dragonback.” Renva gave the Rogue Prince a sly smirk,
“It will be challenging but it is my duty to my wife.” Daemon smirked as he watched Renva walk onto the boat. Once aboard Renva turned and gave Daemon a small salut, which caused the two boys to jokingly retaliate. “I shall see you all soon!” Renva spoke as she went into the quarters where the rest of the passengers were waiting.
Once inside Renva glanced around, seeing her brother and the Princess in discussion about the wedding, Renva made her way to the three young children. Their wetnurses and handmaiden sitting close by to attend to them if they needed anything. Sitting on the ground next to them Renva took notice that the two younger boys were playing with wooden toys shaped into dragons and knights. Joffrey was sitting with his younger brothers with a sour look on his face, not participating in their game. “Are you alright Joffrey?” Renva spoke softly so as to not disturb anyone. Looking down at his lap he fiddled with a wooden knight, “Are you going to take Jace away from us?”
Renvas heart broke at the young boy's words. Renva placed a gentle hand upon his knee, the motion made Joffrey look up at her. “I will never take your brother from you, after all I’m leaving my family to come live with you all. Which I think will make you my new brother.” Renva spoke trying to calm his fears, “I get to have a sister?” Joffrey's eyes lit up, his slight outburst alerting Rhaenyra and Cregan to your conversation. “I would love to be your sister if you would take me Prince Joffrey.” Renva bowed her head to the young boy slightly playing. “I want to be a knight and fight for my mother.” Joffrey spoke with certainty, “Oh my apologies, then should I say Commander Joffrey of the Queen's Guard.” Renva bowed as Joffrey let out a small laugh. “You’ll do.” Joffrey said and turned to his brothers to play.
“You will make a fine mother someday, Renva. I just wish mother were here to see it.” Cregan spoke to his sister with a slight tear forming in his eye at the memory of his mother. “I have you, and Ranvir and father. That's all I need.” Renva then turned her attention to the young boys as they waved another toy in front of her as a way of asking her to join them.
“You and your father raised her well, you both should be very proud.” Rhaenyra turned towards Cregan. “Thank you, your grace, she is the best of House Stark.” Cregan looked on with admiration at his sister's caring nature. He knows however she needs to be more than caring when he leaves her with dragons.

Chapter 14: Betrothal
Renva waited nervously in her chambers for her brother's return from his meeting with Princess Rhaenyra. She could not sit still if her life depended on it, just thinking that if Rhaenyra declines, she will have no choice but to be forced into marriage with the second son of the King. When word got to Alicents ears that Jacaerys was in fact going to marry his cousin, there would be no way for her to escape the snake's den.
Renva was on the verge of chewing a hole into her cheek as the door burst open revealing her brother who looked enraged. “She declined, hasn't she brother?” Renvas’ heart broke at the thought of it happening. “No, she agreed. However you will not be returning home with me. Within weeks time, you will be married in front of a small court, in the traditional Valryian style. You will then be residing in Dragon Stone until Princess Rhaenyra takes the Iron throne after the passing of her father. Unfortunately due to the timing, father and Ravir will be unable to attend. Instead I will be there to send you off before I return to Winterfell.” Cregan dropped himself onto the seat in front of the fireplace. “I have failed you Renva, I thought I could’ve given you more time for your freedom.”
Dropping in front of her brother to make him look at her Renva spoke, “You have done no such thing Cregan. You gave me the best childhood a girl can ask for. You trained me to protect myself because you knew that I deserved to be able to wield a weapon. You are the one that came all the way here to protect me. You have made my life without a mother worth living, and You are the reason I am who I am today. I love father I do, but you were the one always watching over me no matter what.” Renva grasped her brother's hands. “But I-” Renva cut him off, “No buts, I truly care for Jacaerys and I know while my life with him will have restrictions. He will never keep me from being who I am.” Renva met the eyes of her eldest brother, “When do we leave?” Renva asked, “At sunrise. You and I will be on the boat alongside Princess Rhaenyra and her youngest children.”
Nodding Renva stood and held her hand to her brother. Confused, her brother accepted and stood, letting Renva drag him out of the door of her chamber and through the halls of the Red Keep. When they left the castle through an archway Cregan saw them to have arrived in a garden. “Why are we out here?” Cregan questioned his sister's motives. “I know you saw him earlier but I wanted to introduce you to Prince Jacaerys. We promised to meet at the Weirwood tree after lunch.” Renva spoke, she thought if she introduced the two, she had more of a chance at calming her brother's nerves about leaving her alone forever with strangers.
Cregan and Renva sat under the weirwood, Revna leaning on her brother's shoulder. Which for once was not covered in heavy armor, but instead the soft material of his tunic. Cregan was nervous. Not because he felt like he should be intimidated by the young prince, but due to the fact that this was the person who was going to be uprooting his little sister from the only home she’s ever known. He knew he shouldn’t feel that nervous, for these are the customs all families face. However when he looked at Renva, he saw their mother. With Renva leaving them, it felt like his mother was disappearing from his life a second and final time. He saw so much of his mother in his little sister. Although he only had six years with his mother before she passed, he remembered her warm nature. Renva held the kindness that had left with their mother. While Cregan hardened his heart when his mother passed, only Renva was able to break through the walls and see her brother's vulnerability.
That was until he met the love of his life Arra Norrey, he married her two years ago. Unfortunately it seemed the women in Cregan's life were destined to leave him. After giving birth to their son Arra, like many women in the Seven Kingdoms, was lost on the birthing bed. After Arra’s death, Renva helped her brother with his son, taking almost a maternal role for his son. It was seeing them interact that pushed their father to try to find a match for his only daughter. He knew his mourning period was supposed to be over, and he should find someone to help raise his child and continue the Stark line. He just couldn’t bring himself to do it. He did however promise his father that once Renva was securely married off that he would then look for another wife. It saddened his heart that that day would be within the current moon.
He hoped however his sister would be able to outlive him, but anything was possible when dragons dance.

Chapter 13: Decisions
Back in her chambers, Renva was wrapping her shoulder with some herbal oils given to her by the maester to make sure her shoulder wouldn’t bruise. Once the wrap was secured on her shoulder Renva slid her sleeve back up and tied her dress in place. Looking at the spear that was leaning in the corner of her room along with her training clothes, she released a heavy breath she didn’t know she was holding. Having her eldest brother here made her feel as if she was home again. A knock sounded at her chamber door, the guard outside alerting her of a visitor.
“You may enter.” Renva spoke as she crossed the room and ran her fingers along the small detailing that was on the spear.
“His Royal Highness Prince Jacaerys.” The guard spoke as he took post in the doorway of Renva’s room. Most likely by order of Queen Alicent or even her brother, both having different motives for the guard being stationed there.
“Hello Jace, it has been some time.” Renva spoke, glancing up to see him twisting his family ring along his pointer finger.
“And for the Renva I take full responsibility. I know the news of the betrothal offered by Rhaenys was sudden and my mothers lack of decline was also a surprise but I promise you I had no knowledge of the event-” Renva cut him off, “I believe you. There is no need to stress yourself.” Renva placed the spear back down and fully turned towards Jace. “I do, however have one question.” Jace was quick with his response, “Anything Renva.”
Smiling at the Princes’ nervous nature Renva walked over and placed a delicate hand on his shoulder, “What is it that you want? It seems that no one has asked your opinion on any of your sudden betrothals. Mine and Baela’s offers were thrusted upon you by others. What is it that you want?” Renva spoke with such softness Jacaerys felt like he was finally seen as more than the First born son of Rhaenyra and heir to the iron throne, and finally as a person like he should have been this whole time.
“I love my cousin, but that’s just it. I love her like I should love my family.” Jace took her hand off his shoulder and held it softly as if he could break her any second, “With you however, I feel like I can see a future. Growing old together, having children with heads full of brown hair, and no matter the gender being trained to protect themselves just as their mother has before them. I’m scared of losing you to my uncle because if you end up with him, I don’t know if I could go on.” Jace spoke while looking at their intertwined hands, refusing to meet the eyes of the person he just confessed his love to. Feeling her hands slip from his, he was sure he lost her.
The soft hand placed upon his cheek swiped a stray tear away and made him look up at her. “If you will have me, Jacaerys Velaryon, I would love to be your wife.” Renva spoke with her own tears falling. The tears were not because of the sadness of loss of freedom if she accepted, but because she would be able to spend the rest of her life with the one person who made her feel like she was more than a piece on a chess board.
Renva loves her brothers and father, but even she knew that a woman would only ever be under the control of man unless seen as an equal. Her family tries to break their prejudices, but sometimes they slip through the cracks. She knows they’re trying to change, but it would take longer for one generation to be the change she wanted to see.
“I will talk to my brother about conversing with your mother, and if your mother agrees then he shall break the news to the Queen Alicent.” Renva spoke composing herself to leave her chambers, as she turned to leave she was stopped by Jace. “Before we speak to them, can we have one more day knowing that we have no responsibilities?” Renva smiled at his words and nodded her head as they moved across the room to the pile of books.
Sitting on the two seater bench they read until it was time for lunch to which they both went their separate ways to inform their family of their decisions. Cregan was in his own chambers a few doors down from her own. Her brother however had no guard posted outside his room, even if one was sent there she knew her brother would just send them away. Knocking on the door before opening it slightly Renva announced to her brother it was her.
“You do know you do not need to knock.” Cregan spoke to Renva as he wrote a letter presumably to their father. “And if you were indecent I would have to pluck out my own eyes as a result so I shall continue to knock thank you very much.” Renva spoke as she sat in the chair closest to the desk her brother sat at. “Is that a letter to father?” Renva questioned as she toyed with her mothers necklace that hung around her neck. “It is, how is your shoulder?” Cregan asked, he knew his sister was tough so he didn’t feel too bad, she endured harsher training back at Winterfell.
“It hardly throbs after the oils given by the maester. I do have something I would wish to tell father if you could include it.” Renva said changing the topic of conversation. “And what would that be little sister?” Cregan spoke as he glanced up at Renva, “I have accepted Prince Jacaerys betrothal proposal.” Renva sucked in a deep breath, momentarily forgetting to breathe and release the breath.
“You have?” Cregan spoke, turning his full body towards his sister, “I would like for you to speak to Princess Rhaenyra about the terms if she wishes to continue it, since father is not here.” Renva bit the inside of her lip, a habit she had yet to break since she was little. “Well alright then, if that's what you desire.” Cregan sent a small smile towards his sister as he stood. “Wait where are you going?” Renva urgently stood, “I am going to secure your proposal of course, I heard about the other offer and would like to settle this as fast as possible. Also between you and I, I do not like the Hightowers, I more so do not like that dog the Queen has running around. The quicker we settle it, the quicker we leave.” Renva was all too happy to hear her brother's words.
But even she knew happiness didn’t last long, not while she was trapped in the house of the dragons.

Chapter 12: A Familiar Face
Days have passed since Renva rode to the forest. Avoiding all in the Red Keep, Renva tucked herself away into the library where she would read for hours on end. This morning however was no different, Renva awoke and spent her time in the library only after breaking her fast alone. Focusing intently on the book in her hands, she paid no attention to the door opening and foot steps pouring in. However when a hand latched onto her shoulder she sprung up without hesitation, drawing the knife she kept attached to her thigh, to point at the attacker.
“Dear sister, is that anyway to treat your eldest brother?” Renva dropped the knife with a squeal as she launched herself into her brother's arms.
“Oh Cregan, how glad I am to see you.” Renva buried her head in her brother's shoulder and he swung her around.  “I missed you too little wolf,” Cregan said as he placed her on her feet, “Now tell me everything I need to know about this place.”
Cregan wasted no time in getting to the point, “Come brother let us go to my chambers and we shall discuss where there are no prying eyes and ears.” Renva latched her arm on her brothers and dragged him through the Castle. Once in the safety of her chambers Renva spoke freely about those in the Keep. How the Queen was keeping her under close watch, while Rhaenyra offered a safe place, to those who she was expected to choose between. She hasn’t seen Jace in who knows how long, while Aemond started to act like a decent person. Renva spoke about her conflictions and what advice her brother should have to aid her in her decision.
“It seems as though you’ve been through a lot since father left, and on your own nonetheless. That ends now, you will not be alone as long as I’m alive.” Cregan glanced at his sister, who seemed to have aged due to the stress placed upon her shoulders. He crossed the gap between them and for the first time since they were children gave Renva a hug only an older brother could give his shattered sister.
Renva finally let all the stress seep through her cracks as she broke down in her brother's arms. While she loved Ranvir, he couldn’t give the type of hug that seemed to shield her from the world. “Shhhh.., there there. You're not alone anymore. I will always be your protector.” Cregan spoke into his sister's hair and she sobbed into his arms. Cregan himself shed a singular tear, he did not wipe it. Renva hated when he hid his pain from her, glancing up at her brother Renva herself wiped the tear from his face, placing a kiss on his cheek thanking him for existing.
After calming Renva down by promising to start training her immediately, the two walked out to the training grounds. As the Stark siblings approached, Cregan spotted who Renva described as Ser Criston Cole. He already had a bad feeling about the man, as if he was on the verge of snapping at any moment. It was something that worried Cregan, he knew a guard should have self control and a proper mentality to hold a sword, let alone for the Royal Family. Along with Cole, Renva spotted Jace, Luc, Aemond and Aegon. She sucked in a breath, the Princes didn’t notice her or her brother right away which Renva thanked the old gods for.
“I brought you a present dear sister.” Cregan spoke, drawing the attention of the Princes and their trainer. Cregan pulled out a large thinly wrapped parcel. “Are you going to hand it over?” Renva spoke, their old banter coming back without hesitation. She almost didn’t feel the eyes on them, almost. “Once we complete todays training you shall have the chance to open it. Until then you will have something to work for.” Cregan smirked at his sister as he placed the parcel with the direwolves who were just off to the side. “Very well.” Renva spoke as she whipped out her daggers. “Father told me that you received some training while here at the keep. Let's see if you are still as good as you used to be.” Glancing to Cole who was off to the side with the Princes.
Raising his sword, Cregan invited his younger sister to attack. Renva held her daggers, as she used her footwork to get closer to her brother. Renva swung with her right hand, her brother who was much more experienced, raised his sword and brought it down to block his sister's upswing. Knocking the dagger out of her right hand Cregan spoke, “It's almost as if you’ve regressed” Cregan to a side step, swinging the sword down knocking his sister's forearm in just the right spot to send pain down to her hand but not strong enough to leave a bruise. Refusing to make a fool of herself, Cregan suspected that she would release the dagger and clutch her arm to stop the pain. Instead, she fought through it, and swung at her brother's abdomen. Cregan dodged with grace, swinging his sword around and pointing it at her throat.
Smirking, Renva used her dagger and knocked the sword away from her throat, continuing their small battle. Cregan was pleased with his sister's skills. However they were not up to where they should be, had she remained at Winterfell she would have progressed further than where she was now. Cregan decided enough was enough, as Renva was coming back for another attack, Cregan used his strength to swing his sword down to where her dagger was aiming and knocked it out of her hand with a hard thwack. Renva winced from the pain, she knew however this was the end of their battle, he now had the upper hand since she didn’t use her speed to her advantage and tried to match his strength.
Cregan used his right foot to swipe her off of her feet which resulted in Renva hitting the ground with a hard thud. “You’ve made your point brother.” Renva said, sitting up and rubbing her shoulder which took most of the blow to the ground. “You tried to beat me in strength, a feat which you can’t achieve. You are much faster than any man could ever be. Use that to your advantage. It seems whoever trained you has never trained anyone in a way of speed. From now on you shall run laps as you did in Winterfell. I shall accompany you if you wish or Signe will.” Cregan walked to the direwolves.
“Do I get to open the parcel now? Or do I have to wait?” Renva spoke to her brother as she nodded at his instructions. “I suppose you deserve a special gift.” Cregan spoke as he walked back with the parcel in his hands. Renva held out her hands eagerly as her brother placed the parcel in her hands. It was lighter than she expected, she thought from the shape it would be a sword. After peeling back the packaging she realized it was a spear. “I made it myself for you, it is a double ended forked spear. It shall be the last thing I teach you. You have to finish dagger training, then I shall train you on the sword, and finish with your spear.” Cregan placed a hand on his sister's shoulder, the one that didn’t make contact with the ground.
The Princes watched the siblings interact, the Targaryen siblings were envious, knowing that they would never get along the way the Starks did. The Velaryons were in awe that even though they seemed to have little in common, what they did, they cherished. As for Cole he was seething at the comments the eldest Stark threw at him.
Renva twisted the spear in her hands a few times before smirking up at her brother.

Chapter 11: The Wisp
Once she made it across, she noticed that the light was further back than she had thought. She swore it was right on the other side, but she couldn't see it very well. She heard what sounded like a whimper from a child, glancing around with her left hand ghosting the location of where her dagger was situated on her hip. Renva saw nothing, no sign of anything else with her in the woods. Turning back to where the light was, it was almost as if it moved to be 5 feet in front of her.
Renva took a cautioned step back, the light wasn’t just a light. It was a wisp, one like her mother saw before she was condemned to death. It was a ball of what looked like blue fire, with two white glowing orbs in it which looked like it was the eyes of the creature. She heard the small whimper like noise again, it seemed to be coming from the wisp. Once it realized it had her attention it turned and disappeared, only to reappear further ahead down the path. Renva knew she shouldn’t follow it, but wisps were some of the only things she was truly interested about. It made her feel connected to her mother in a strange way.
She followed it alone for what seemed like forever, Signe having stayed on the other side of the creek because she didn’t like getting her fur wet. It led her to an alcove that was nestled under a cliff side. She took a few caution steps into the alcove, running her hands lightly along the wall she felt what were to have been carvings. She exited and found a piece of wood to light. Walking back she held the torch close to the rocky wall. Once lit up she was able to depict exactly what was drawn on the walls. They were dragons, many of them, all different sizes and shapes. On the wall was something in high Valyrian. To her right was a small piece of wood, taking out her small hunting knife, she carved what was written on the walls. Once she was done she pocketed her knife and the wood. Glancing back at the wall she took in the images of the dragons.
The color of them had long since faded, but the shapes of them were there. She had not seen many of the dragons but she’s heard stories and seen them in books. She could make out one to be what looked like Vhagar, it was the biggest of all of them depicted. It was fighting another dragon, one with a very long neck she assumed to be Caraxes. She wondered if they had fought before or if this was something to come.
Renva decided it was time to leave the cave. A sense of dread washed over her after looking at the image. Walking back the way she came, she couldn’t stop thinking of what Helena had said and now what she had seen. The wisp led her there for a reason and she didn’t know why. Was she to try and stop this? Was it inevitable and destined to happen no matter what? Retracing her steps she came back upon the creak and crossed it towards Signe who was sitting upright waiting for Renva to return.
“I’m back Signe, no need to worry.” She spoke softly as Signe pressed her snout to Renvas hand. The two walked together back to where her horse resided. As they approached the horse they saw a dark figure step out from the tree it was tied to. “Who goes there?” Renva said whipping out her knife, Signe stood in a protective manner in front of Renva.
“Where did you run off to?” She knew that voice, only heard it a few times. Aemond stepped into the stream of moonlight, he had a smirk upon his face.
“I needed to take a walk. It is none of your concern.” Renva said, sheathing the knife, but still keeping her guard up.
“It is my concern, you are a ward of my mothers and thus if you get hurt under her care she will be to blame. Unless that is what you were trying to accomplish.” Aemond said, taking a step closer to Renva.
“I can take care of myself, thank you very much. Also how did you even know where I was? Were you spying on me?” Renva said, pointing her finger at him accusingly.
“I was leaving the dragon pit when you rode by like a mad woman. So in the kindness of my heart I followed on behalf of my mother. Now Lady Stark I believe it is high time to get you back to the castle.” Aemond said, closing in on her. Signe growled as he approached, however her growls didn’t stop him. When he was close enough he turned slightly and ushered her to walk ahead of him. It was his way of making sure she returned without trying to run again.
“This is ridiculous, just wait until my brother comes and hears about this.” Renva grumbled as she pushed past him, giving his side a slight nudge. Signe followed in the middle of the two, keeping Renva as far away from Aemond as she could. Aemonds smirk never left his face the whole way back from the forest to the castle.
“Goodnight Prince Aemond, let's never do this again.” Renva spoke with an annoyed expression as they went their separate ways, only she didn’t see Aemond’s smug look as he turned and departed.
If only she knew that her defiance triggered something in the young prince that was sure to make things very complicated.

Chapter 10: The Forest
Renva couldn’t sleep after the events of the petition. After seeing the King struggle so strongly to reach the throne, Renva felt for the Queen. She could tell Alicent truly cared for the King, whether it is love or not there is a respect there and for that Revna is glad. She witnessed first hand the wrath of the Dragon. Vaemond Velaryion’s head was sliced like it was nothing. Renva saw death before, that didn’t scare her. But the fury behind Prince Daemon's eyes scared her.
Then came the news she was dreading, Princess Rhaenys spoke about a betrothal offer and Rhaenyra didn’t immediately decline. Renva felt betrayed by the Princess who consoled her when she was on the verge of a breakdown. Now all the thoughts she had pressed down were resurfacing and Renva needed to get out. Out of bed, out of her chambers, and out of the Red Keep. She threw her covers off and dug through her closet to the bottom which held a sack of her brother's old clothing she would use or practice before she had her own. She knew it would come in handy at some point.
Now all she had to do was figure out how to get past the guard stationed outside her door. She knew if she jumped from the window she would break many bones, so that was out of the question. Remembering back in Winterfell there were few secret passageways used by the staff to help them travel about the castle quicker. That led Renva to quietly pace the room and press on the walls in hope that one would open into a passageway. It took her a few tries until finally she pushed on the wall just to the left of the bed where her brother had slept, and it flung open revealing an empty corridor.
Moving swiftly through the tunnels she heard the kitchen maids preparing food for tomorrow's meals which led her to realize she was almost out of the castle. Renva mapped out the castle while she was there, a habit she developed from her father. He made sure to remind her to always be aware of one's surroundings. The kitchen was close to the stables and that's all that Renva needed to get to.
She pushed open a door and there it was, a few feet away she saw the stables. She ducked and weaved her way towards it making sure to remain unseen. However Signe following close behind might be a dead giveaway. How the wolf found her Renva didn’t know, she chopped it up to their bond. Entering the stables she saw a horse that looked the right size to ride without a saddle. She has done it many times before in Winterfell so it wasn’t a challenge for her anymore.
Once she was up on the horse, she slowly trotted him out of the stables and towards the exit for all the staff. That way she would be as inconspicuous as possible. Once she was out of the Red Keep she gave a slight squeeze and he took off at a higher speed. She bobbed and weaved all throughout Kings Landing. Finally making it to the Dragon Pit all she had to do was continue towards the woods that stood on the outside of the wall. Then she would be free for a while.
While passing the Pit she heard the grumbling of the dragons that resided in it. They fascinated her but also terrified her. She knew Signe was still a wild animal no matter how strong their bond is and could decide to do the exact opposite of what Renva tells her to do. She couldn’t imagine handling the responsibility of having a dragon. Turning back towards the road, she kept up her pace and not soon after reached the exit towards the woods.
Slowing down once outside Renva took what felt like her first actual breath in a while. She decided to continue on foot and once she started growing tired would turn around and go back to the Keep. Wrapping the one tie the horse had to the nearest tree, Renva made sure that the animal would be able to bend down to rest if need be. After giving the horse a little pat, Renva turned with Signe right besides her further into the woods.
After walking for what Renva assumed was an hour based on the patter of the stars, she came upon a small creek. She stopped so Signe could take a drink, she knew the wolf must be a little tired from all the running she did. Taking a seat at the water's edge, Renva held her knees to her chest and just watched the water ripple. She thought of her mother, how different would her life be if her mother were still alive. She thought about how little she still knows of her mother, she has almost no memory of her. Just the one lullaby she would sing to all the children to get them to fall asleep. Letting a tear fall from her eye, she looked towards her wolf.
Signe was the only thing that was constant in her life when she thought hard about it. Of course her father and brothers are there for her but there are times they go on trips where her father will still not allow her to travel. Thus making her stay in Winterfell with the handmaidens, they were never constant after Ms. Kaila’s passing. It was almost as if it was Renva driving those away from herself subconsciously. She feared that those she cared about would end up leaving her, and her heart just couldn't take that happening again. After all, it seemed to her that she was alone more than she was with other people. Thinking back to Helena's dream the day before, she remembered her utter the phrase ‘lone wolf’, it clicked and resonated with her because those that resided in Winterfell often called her that name.
While she knew not all of the Princesses' dreams actually came to light, she feared that this one would. Taking her attention away from her wolf and back towards the water she spotted a little blue light coming from across the creek. Curious, Renva stood to her feet, and tried to get a closer look. There were walking stones in the lake, lucky Renva had trousers on otherwise she would have had a drenched dress.
Taking a deep breath she started for the otherside of the creek.

Chapter 9: A Visit From an Acquaintance
Renvas eyes widened once she heard the lone wolf. She knew it was about her, who else could it refer to? Aemond looked from his sister to the Stark girl. Once making eye contact Renva sprung into action, “She passed out due to stress probably. Hold her up for a moment,” Renva spoke to Aemond. Their first speaking since that day in the training grounds. Once Aemond held her up, Renva loosed her corset, allowing blood flow and air to easily move. “Now lay her flat on her back on the floor.” Aemond did as instructed. Once on the floor Renva put her ear to the Princesses nose, feeling air flow and hearing her low breathing she knew she would be okay.
Turning towards the handmaidens who stood idle in the room not knowing what to do since the Princess never passed out before. “I need a cool cloth, the coldest water you can get.” The maids rushed out of the room at Lady Renva’s request.
“How do you know how to do all of this?” Aemond asked, turning towards her and looking her over with his one eye. “Growing up, my personal handmaiden Ms. Kaila, would faint from time to time. Maesters said that it was due to the stress of watching over my brothers and I when my father couldn’t. However I don’t think that was the actual reason.” Revna spoke while brushing the hair out of Helena’s face.
“What do you think the real reason is?” Aemond asked, remembering his mothers orders to befriend the girl for a potential marriage to bind House Stark to the Hightowers specifically. “She was a fighter, always going against the males in Winterfell, the only man she ever respected was my father. She was the one who introduced me to fighting secretly.” Renva spoke of the women with a smile upon her face. “She wasn’t one to stress out easily. Kaila did however confide in me one evening, she said she was sick, it wasn’t contagious or else she would have left Winterfell in a heartbeat. But it was something that would take her from this world earlier than she had thought.” Renva finished her tale and glanced at Aemond, he was about to speak when the doors slammed open again. The maids came back with Queen Alicent at their tails.
“What happened to my daughter?” Alicent asked no one specifically. “She fainted, your grace, she spoke a dream and then just collapsed.” Renva said, taking the cold cloth’s from one of the maids and placing one on her forehead and one on the back of her neck. Helena stirred and started mumbling the dream again. “Renva helped me make her comfortable until she woke up.” Aemond said standing to his mother to console her and distract her from his sister's mumblings. A side of him that Renva never saw before, she knew Alicent was closest to her middle children rather than the oldest and youngest. Although she never saw Aemond reciprocate any feelings of love or concern until today. “I graciously thank you Renva.” Alicent spoke with a tear in her eye as she went over to her daughter who slowly opened her eyes.
“I will leave you all then, if you need me I will be in my chambers after I return a book to the library.” Renva excused herself and let what of the family was there be in solitude.
—---
Renva was not interrupted for the rest of the night. She wondered where Jace was, she hadn’t seen him all day. She wondered if everything was okay with the Velaryon boys. Glancing out of the window in her room she stared at the Weirwood tree. A tree that they also had in Winterfell, she would sit there for hours and read until it grew too dark to see anything without candle light.
Looking under the tree she spotted Signe. She was fast asleep, close enough so if Renva needed help she could be there but far enough to still feel the freedom she had in the North. Renva wondered if it was a good idea to keep her in the Red Keep with her or if she would have been happier going back to Winterfell with Nika. Hearing a soft knock upon her door, she responded with “Come in.” Turning to see who would enter the room she was shocked to see Princess Rhaenys. “Your grace, to what do I owe the honor?” Renva spoke and bowed to the older Princess.
“Please rise child. I have come to speak to you about some accusations that have been made about my grandchildren.” Renva was confused. Why would Rhaenys speak to her about such things? “I mean no offense you grace, but why are you talking to me about this?” Renva said, speaking of her confusion. “Because when my good brother comes tomorrow there shall be a petition on the succession of Driftmark. To secure my houses protection, I will be offering Princess Rhaenyra a proposal. Two actually.” Rhaenys said. Renva knew where this was going. Any logical woman would, and she didn’t blame Princess Rhaenys for it at all.
“I’m guessing it is with Princess Rhaenyra’s eldest children and Laenas children? And for that to work you would like me to step back from Prince Jacaerys.” Renva said, connecting the dots and looking at Rhaenys. “You are a smart girl. You will survive here-” Rhaenys said and was about to leave when Renva cut her off. “I didn’t say that I would, If the time comes, I won’t fight for Jace. But I won’t hurt him either.” Renva said and gestured for Princess Rhaenys to leave her chambers.
“You remind me of my daughter. You will do great things.” With that Princess Rhaenys left and Renva was alone with her thoughts again.

Chapter 8: The Dream
Renva stood between Queen Alicent and Princess Rhaenyra as she watched her father and brother pack the last of their things. Rickon decided to leave the next morning instead of that night. It gave Renva time to collect herself and stop her tears before they left.
“I will miss you my young wolf, your brother should be here in a week's time, he’s decided to ride alone which lets the horses travel faster.” Renva gave a slight nod to her father as he placed a hand upon her cheek.
“I shall make you proud here. I will write to you when I get the chance.” Renva turned to her brother who had just approached. “I will miss you Ranvir, and I’m sure Signe will miss Nika.” Renva gave her brother a tight hug which he gladly returned. Glancing at the two direwolves who seemed like they were saying their own goodbyes, Renva almost shed a tear. She would not give the Queen the satisfaction in seeing her cry.
“We will take good care of Renva, Lord Rickon. You have my word.” Rhaenyra said, placing a hand on the young girl's shoulder. “I’m sure you will, Princess. Thank you again for hosting us and allowing my daughter to stay.” Rickon gave his daughter a hug before he placed a hand on his youngest son's upper back and guided him into the carriage.
Once the carriage door shut behind her father and brother, Renva took a deep breath, almost as if she was preparing herself for the weeks to come. Ranvir peeked his head out of the window one last time to give his sister a small wave, to which she returned. It was only a moment after their wave that the carriage started moving out of the Red Keep.
The carriage was out of sight when Renva turned to the Queen. “If you may excuse me, Baela, Rhaena and Helena invited me to practice our embroidery together.” Renva bowed her head, a gesture which she believed the Queen did not afford from her. Renva didn’t stop to look back at either the Queen or Princess, she wanted to get as far away as she could from this courtyard.
—-
The guard that stood post at Helena’s chamber door allowed her in. As she walked in Renva spotted Prince Daemon’s twin girls, on their embroidery looms Renva noticed them making the Velaryon house crest. Renva smiled to herself, she knew the two girls had also lost her mother, it was new all over the kingdom how Laena went out by Vhagar’s fire. She was proud of the two however that they are still honoring their mothers house. Glancing at Helena, on her loom was a spider, what kind she didn’t know.
She heard Helena say what some would deem ‘weird things’, Renva however knew her Valaryian history. She knew about dragon dreamers and she had a high speculation that Helena was one. In front of Helena on the floor sat her own twins, both with white hair. Renva could only tell them apart by the outfits they wore. Jaehaerys in boys attire and Jaehaera in a dress that Renva swore could fit a doll.
“Hello Princesses.” Renva gave a slight bow. Walking over to the last open seat which was next to Helena, Renva picked up a loom for herself. She wanted to make a pattern for Cregan, to show how grateful she was for him coming to her aid. First however she had to practice before she attempted to put it on clothing. “Hello Renva, I take it your father has left?” Helena spoke softly to her. She knew Helena didn’t mean it in a mean way, the girl had not one bad bone in her body. “Yes, they departed right before I came here. It saddens me to see them go but I know that I will be in good hands here.” It seemed that all Renva was capable of doing was lying through her teeth. She did not feel safe here without her family.
“Time will pass swiftly, Renva. I just know it.” Baela spoke kindly to Renva, Rhaena hearing her sisters words gave a smile to the lone girl. The girls then plunged into silence, each girl focusing on their own embroidery loom, the only noise being from the two children who were playing with one another. The first to leave was Rhaena, having finished her pattern she informed her sister that their father was planning a lesson for them to practice their High Valyrian. Rhaena excused herself, Renva gave her a small smile. If she were to be here by herself she would try to make as many allies as she could.
Baela was next to leave, along with the nannies and the young twins. Helena noted it was their nap time and asked them to be brought to their chamber to sleep. Leaving just Renva and Helena, Renva was mid-stitch when the door burst open, scaring her and making her poke her finger. Quickly putting her finger in her mouth to stop the bleeding she glanced at the door to see who the intruder was.
Prince Aemond stood at the door, his hair tied half back to stay out of his face.
“Excuse my intrusion, I thought Princess Helena to be alone, I saw Prince Daemon's daughters in the Library.” Aemond said in his usual monotone voice. Renva made eye contact with him, “I can leave if you need to talk in private. It's not a big deal.” Renva said as she stood to get up and put her loom away. “That won’t be necessary, Aemond normally comes to visit me and my children after his training session. It seems however brother your session ran late, the twins are taking their naps.” Helena said, glancing back down at her loom.
“I shall leave you too then.” Aemond turned to walk away as he and Renva heard a gasp and the sound of a loom dropping to the floor. Turning to Helena they saw her in a daze, Aemond rushed to his sisters and grabbed her face in his hands. “Helena, you must snap out of it. Helena!” His voice grew with concern for his sister. However her attention did not waver. She looked towards Renva who stood still not knowing what to do. “The whispers will come, and with them the choice of black or white. Both will lead to darkness, neither to light. The lone wolf will decide the fate of the pack.” Helena spoke before slumping against her brother's arms.

Chapter 7: The Kings Request
Rickon was walking back towards his childrens chambers when he was stopped by the Queen's Hand.
“My Lord Stark, I have been requested by the Queen to bring you to meet her.” Ser Cole spoke to Rickon like he was a wild animal that would go ballistic at any moment. Knowing he would cause more issues if he denied the Queen’s guard, he followed.
Cole led him down hallways and up many stairs before stopping in front of chamber doors. Cole knocked softly on the door, before it opened. Following him into the chambers, he realized they were of the King. Glancing around the room he spotted the King sitting in a chair near the unlit fireplace. Behind him stood the Queen, placing a shawl over his shoulders. Noticing the Lord enter approaching him, Viscearys turned. Rickon took note of the golden mask that covered half of the King's face.
“Your Majesties, to what do I owe the honor?” Lord Stark bowed before the King mainly.
“Ahh Lord Stark, Come sit please.” The King spoke while gesturing towards the empty chair that sat next to him. “I received word that you wish to depart from the Red Keep, may I ask the reasoning?” Rickon glanced towards the Queen, a knowing look already on her face. She knew what he had planned and was trying to stop them from leaving.
“I received word from my eldest son that some issues have arisen concerning members of the wall. As warden of the North it is my duty to make sure those that serve the wall follow their duty.” Rickon took a deep breath before continuing, “However that isn’t the only reason your Grace. My daughter and Her Majesty had a conversation earlier today, it seems as though her grace was insinuating that my daughter was using the crown.” Rickon made eye contact with the King.
Taking in the information Viscearys glanced towards his wife who put her head down. “I mentioned the night we came here that my daughter will not be forced to choose who she will marry. It is up to Renva who she shall form a connection with. The only one who has willingly spent time with her is Prince Jacaerys and his siblings. I would like to make it clear that I am not spouting false claims against your son, but since our time here he hasn’t  spoken to her or acknowledged her presence.” Rickon spoke slowly making sure his words could not be misconstrued.
“I see. And why is that Alicent?” Viscaerys turned towards his wife, knowing that since he has not been able to spend much time if any out of his room she shall know what their second born son has been doing instead of entertaining his guest.
“I am not sure my King. You know Aemond, he runs off with that dragon most days.” Alicent said to avoid being the center of attention. “Well then I have a wonderful idea. Since you are needed back home, your eldest son can take your place here. That way Renva can spend more time here to know my son equally.” Rickon felt trapped, he couldn’t deny the King’s Request. “Very well then your grace. I shall send my eldest son back in my place, Renva will have to accompany me back, however since there is no one else to watch over her.” Alicent saw just what the Lord was trying to do.
“She can be my Ward. I shall watch over her until your son makes the trip back here.” Alicent said, smiling at Rickon, who was seething under his skin. “I shall send a dragon rider with the message to him to make sure that there is less time where she is with those she is unfamiliar with. I hope you enjoyed your stay here, my Lord.” The King spoke, losing his breath at the end of his sentence. “We shall get you back to bed.” Alicent said as she helped his stand and waved for the Kings guard who stood near the door to come and assist her.
“Thank you, your Majesties. I shall inform my daughter.” Rickon bowed before he left. Stalking down the hall the anger disappeared from his body and in its place was fear, fear for his only daughter. He was leaving her in a dragon's den all alone. A small tear fell from his left eye, he quickly wiped it away remembering just who his daughter is. Renva is a Stark, and he made sure she was raised as such and to know how to defend herself. While he regrets having to leave her, he knows she will be safe.
Opening the door, he saw Rhaenyra holding his daughter as she cried. Hearing him enter Renva’s head lifted and she ran to her fathers side.
“When are we to leave, Father?” Renva spoke her nose stuffy alerting Rickon just how much his daughter had been crying. “Renva, I think you need to sit down.” Rickon led her to the edge of one of the beds. “As I was returning to alert your brother and yourself of when we are to leave, the Queen's guard found me and took me to meet with her grace.” Rickons eyes flickered to Rhaenyra as she held onto Jace whose eyes were red, she furrowed her brows. “When I entered the room it was not only the Queen but the King as well.” Renvas eyes widened along with Rhaenyra’s.
“You met with my father? Why?” Rhaenyra questioned, her father has not been in good health and has rarely spoken to her or Daemon. “He received word that we were leaving and has made the request that while Ranvir and I go to deal with issues at the wall for you to stay here until Cregan comes in my place-” “No.” Renva cut her father off. “You want me to stay here alone while you leave and go home?” Renva’s eyes once again filled with tears. “They are sending a dragon rider to inform your brother, you will not be alone for long.” Rickon spoke.
“She will not be alone, my Lord. She will have us.” Turing Rickon saw Jacaerys step towards him and his daughter and place a comforting hand on her shoulder. Renva looked towards Rhaenyra and Jace and knew while her father was gone, she would be safe with them.

Chapter 6: Tears Will Fall
A few days have passed since her stroll with Jace. The two have had more conversations since then and Renva was starting to think about accepting Princess Rhaenyras marriage proposal for her and Jace. Renva had been attending training with the boys and shockingly, Ser Criston was eager to witness how much the two Stark children knew about fighting. Cole had paired up Renva and Aegon a few times, all resulting in the young Stark to lay Aegon flat in the dirt. Renva was just finishing up getting ready after her training session when she heard a knock on the door.
“Who is it?” Renva asked, putting her hairbrush down on the small table next to her bed. Walking towards the door she heard a voice respond, “It is I, Lady Stark, Queen Alicent.” Renva felt her blood drain. The past week that they have stayed at the RedKeep Renva could count on one hand how many times she had seen the Queen. Now here she was, at Renva’s temporary chambers. Knowing it was bad to leave the Queen waiting, Renva responded, “Come in your grace.” Renva opened the door stepping aside to allow the Queen to enter.
“Please sit your Grace, what do I owe the pleasure?” Renva said pointing to the sofa for Alicent to sit down on. Choosing to sit opposite her she felt an odd feeling near the Queen and she couldn’t put her finger on exactly what it was.
“I wanted to have a small chat, Renva. Is that okay with you?” Alicent said with a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Of course your grace, what would you like to talk about?” Renva asked, digging her left thumb into her right palm, a habit she had when she was nervous. “I know that you’ve spent some time with Prince Jacaerys, how come you have not spent time with my son, Prince Aemond. He is who you originally came here for, was he not?” Renva gathered that Alicient was accusing her of using the proposal as a means of getting closer to the throne. She knew the former Hightower was power hungry but she didn’t know she would go this far as to accuse House Stark of such things.
“My intentions were to form a relationship with Aemond, but ever since I won in our sparring match on the training ground the second day I was here. He has not spoken to me, I fear that I overstepped but I will not sit aside as a woman who has fought hard to get the opportunities I have. It took a lot of begging to get my father to allow Cregan to train me.” Renva spoke sternly to the Queen. The shock on the Queen's face showed no child has ever spoken to her like that before, especially one not of her own blood. “I see, well I shall have a talk with my son. I bid you a good day Lady Stark.” The Queen stood up abruptly and walked out of Renvas chambers. She released a sigh she didn’t know she was holding. A moment or so after the Queen left her father had stormed into the room.
“What happened with the Queen?” Rickon spoke with ferocity. Renva explained the conversation she had with the queen moments before. “She was accusing us of using her?” Rickon stroked his beard and wrinkled his eyebrows. “I think it is time we leave. I do not like the assumptions being thrown at my family and I will not stand for it.” Rickon spoke urgently, “Find your brother, and pack your things. I will ready transportation.” He was gone before Renva could respond.
She ran through the halls of the castle, trying not to cry while finding her brother. Instead of finding her brother, she literally ran into the future Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
“Renva, are you okay? Your face is beat red. Did someone hurt you?” Rhaenyra spoke as she took the girl's head into her hands to examine her face. “I am truly sorry your grace, I know you are with child and I don’t know what I would’ve done had I hurt you.” Renva let out a strangled breath. “You are fine Renva, where are you going in such a hurry though?” Renva was nervous to tell Rhaenyra, but she could see from the determination on the Princess’s face that she wouldn’t believe anything but the truth. “My family and I are leaving. My father sent me to retrieve my brother but I cannot find him.” Renva said softly, crying to the Princess. Rhaenyra let one hand slip from Renva’s face. “What happened to cause this? I thought your family was enjoying themselves? Did the Queen ask you to leave?” Rhaenyra felt fury rise inside her.
“No she would never, my father took an accusation she said to me to heart and doesn’t want to stay. He is readying transport. Before we leave I believe he is going to tell the Queen we reject their offer for my marriage to Prince Aemond.” Renva spoke, squeezing Rhaenyras hand that slipped from her face to reassure the Princess that it was by her fathers will and not of the Queens.
“You’re leaving?” Renva whipped around, more tears falling from her eyes at seeing Jaces heartbroken face. Renva never wanted to hurt anyone and here she was breaking the heart of someone she deeply cared for. It took Renva a moment to realize that her brother was with Jace. “I don’t want to leave but it is my fathers wishes. Ranvir, father, wants us to pack now. He wants to leave before nightfall.” Renva said, looking at her brother, wiping the tears that had fallen onto the sleeve of her gown.
“Can we talk for a moment Renva?” Jace pleaded, Rhaenyra saw just how much her son didn’t want the young Stark to leave. “ Of course, you can accompany my brother and I to our chamber. We really must start packing.” Renva said, latching arms with her brother for comfort and turning to walk back towards their chambers. “I will come as well. I would like to hear the full story on what has transpired.” Rhaenyra said, placing a hand on her eldests shoulder for comfort. No one spoke until the doors to the chamber closed behind them.
“Why do we have to leave?” Ranvir started, which led Renva to explain the conversation had with the Queen. Rhaenyra was just as furious as Rickon. The Queen practically ambushed the young Stark and said she was using the crown. “So that's it? You’re all leaving?” Jace said, picking at his nails. “I don’t want to go, Jace, you must believe me, but I cannot go against my father.” Renva said, going up to Jace and lifting his head with her hands. Once his head was lifted his eyes met hers and his wall finally broke. Jace let out a strangled cry, trying his best not to let his emotions get the best of him. When his eyes met Renvas he saw how much she didn’t want to leave, “I’m sorry Jace.” Renva said and wrapped her arms around his middle bringing him into a hug. She knew it was unladylike but before she left she needed him to know how much he meant to her. Jace hugged her back, both of them burying their heads into one another's shoulders.
In that moment, Rhaenyra saw just how much the Queen's actions hurt her son and the girl she grew to care for. Rhaenyra had formulated a plan at that exact time; once the Starks returned to Winterfell she would send a raven. Asking the Starks for permission for her and her family to visit. She would not let Alicent ruin other things she loved again.

Chapter 5: Afternoon Stroll
Making her way through the castle, Renva twirled a small chunk of her hair between her fingers. A habit she and her older brother shared. Much like Renva, Cregan had one curl where his widow's peak was, that if it was long enough would twirl when he was anxious. Thinking about their similarities Renva realized how much she missed her older brother. While he was strict they still loved each other deeply and cared if the other was hurting. Oh how Renva wished life could go back to how it was before receiving the letter from the king and queen.
It was nearing lunch time, so Renva made her way to the dining area where there was always some food laid out. When walking into the room she spotted the Velaryon boys along with her brother huddled together.
“Hello Lady Stark!” Joffery yelled as he spotted Renva approaching. The young boy ran up to Renva and gave her a hug, almost knocking her to the floor.
“Joffrey, be careful with our guests. It is impolite to hug without asking for permission.” Jacaerys spoke as he approached the two.
“Oh it is certainly okay. I love hugs, just ask my brother.” Renva responded nodding to her brother, while bending down a little to hug Joffrey properly.
“I wouldn’t call what you do hugging. You ambush us and tackle us.” Ranvir chuckled as he reminisced about his sister's actions. “Well father begs to differ. He loves my hugs.” Renva said as she let go of Joffrey. “Where have you been sister? Training ended a while ago?” Ranvir said concerned for his sisters’ whereabouts. After spending much time with her two suitors he rather liked Jacaerys over Aemond. Aemond was too cold for Renva, whereas Jace was much kinder and lighthearted. The two got along quite well, he hoped for him to be a match with his sister.
“I was in the library reading about wisps.” Renva spoke, “But you are quite the fast reader sister, how big was the book?” Ranvir joked with his sister wrapping an arm around her shoulder. “Actually as I was finishing the book Princess Rhaenyra came in and we talked for a little while. That’s when I lost track of time.” At Revas words Jace perked up, his mother speaking to someone he might marry was nerve wracking. He wanted to know exactly what they had talked about.
Turning to Jace, “You have a wonderful mother. You were surely blessed.” Renva spoke with a warm smile on her face. It made Jace’s heart flutter, a feeling he hadn’t felt before. “Thank you Lady Stark, my mother is truly a godsend.” Jace agreed,  taking a few steps closer to Renva. “Would you care for a walk?” Jace asked, stretching out his arm gesturing to the door. “It would be my pleasure, My Prince. Let me just grab a quick muffin before then.” Renva agreed while quickly grabbing one of the muffins that sat on the table. Ranvir knew it was his duty to follow them as a chaperone, so he followed a few steps behind the pair.
“So Lady Stark-” Jace started before Renva interrupted, “Please your grace, call me Renva. Lady makes me feel old.” He gave her a small smile, “As long as you call me Jace instead of ‘your grace’.” Jace said. “I think that can be Gillianenged.” Renva said, giving a slight smile.
“I know it hasn’t been long, but how are you enjoying the Red Keep?” Jace started to spark conversation. “It is lovely, I love the feeling of the warm sun but the cool breeze.” Jace nodded for her to continue talking. “In the North the only real warmth is if you are standing in direct sunlight. Otherwise it is dreadfully cold, you can easily get hypothermia in the winter months if you aren’t constantly dressed properly.” Renva spoke, occasionally glancing towards Jace only to find that he was already looking at her.
“I never really experienced much cold. Ever since Joffrey was born we stayed at Dragonstone. I have memories of it here but they aren't all fond.” Jace responded remembering the day Ser Harwin left due to him not being strong enough to go against Aegon and win.
“All memories can't be fond, Jace. If they were we wouldn’t be able to tell what the really good ones are. We need bad days to make the nice ones feel amazing. We wouldn’t learn much otherwise.” Renva spoke, placing a hand upon Jaces shoulder. The small gesture made Jace feel whole. A feeling that hasn’t been a constant one for him lately.
“I guess you are right, or else how would I be able to remember how amazing this one is right now.” Jace gave a warm smile to Renva. “You are too kind Jace. I do have a serious question for you however.” Renva started changing the conversation. “Ask away.” Jace grew nervous, he had no clue what her talk was with his mother and could only hope it wasn’t related to that.
“Do you know if your mother was offering your hand to spite the queen, or was it genuine.” Renva was nervous asking Jace this question. If Jace perceived it as rude it could cause trouble between not only them but the Starks and Rhaenyra’s family. “I think she offered because of your ancestors' pledge to ward the crown. I’m sure you are well aware of the conflict between my mother and my uncle. If my grandfather were to pass, Queen Alicent is sure to try to put Aegon on the throne.” Jace glanced at Renva to see her reaction, all she was doing was furrowing her brows which is something he noticed the night prior when she was heavy in thought. “She has wanted me to marry for some time. We had made a deal that I wouldn’t have to be betrothed until next year. However I am not upset that she has offered my betrothal early. I am very lucky to be an option for you.” Renva turned to look at Jace as he said this.
When he smiled the outer corners of his eyes did a little scrunch that she found charming. Renva glanced back at the sound of thundering paws. Spotting Signe running towards her, she smirked. She decided this was a good opportunity to see if Jace was a good match. Signe did not like people outside of the Stark Family, so if she was able to tolerate Jace, it was a sign that she felt Jace was a good person.
“Signe my beautiful girl, how are you?” Signe rubbed her snout on Renva's hands at her words.  “This is your Direwolf?” Jace said remaining where he stood, he learned about direwolves from the maesters. He was not going to spook the she-wolf and cause his own demise. “It is, would you like to greet her?” Renva said, stretching a hand out to Jace. Jace saw the wolf at the training grounds earlier that day and she looked much bigger in person. He wasn’t scared per say considering he rode a dragon, however dragons and direwolves are alike in the sense that they care for their companion. “I would be glad to.” Jace accepted her hand. Stepping forward slowly Signe let out a light growl, Jace took a deep breath as did Renva. Signe sniffed the air around Jaces’ hand before stepping past Renva towards Jace. Jace felt the wolf’s cold snout press against his hand, the hot air coming from the creature's nose reminded him of his dragon Vermax.
Jace looked towards Renva with a light smile. Turning back to the wolf Renva saw a sight she never thought to see. Signe sat down in front of Jace and nudged his palm signaling for him to pet her. It was what she did to those who she thought had good intentions. Renva only saw this once before, right after she bonded with Revna did Signe go up to her family members and give them all a small nudge with her head. Since that day she has never done that again. “Does that mean she likes me?” Jace said petting the wolfs’ neck which she only allowed Renva to do before. “I believe that is her saying that you passed.” Renva said, smiling back at Jace.

Chapter 4: Library Talks
After her encounter at the training grounds, Revna sought peace in the library. While roaming the shelves, she looked for a book about the North. More specifically a book about wisps. Her father would tell her stories of the wisps, how they can either bring doom or luck.
Her mother, Gilliane, encountered one once according to her father. Her mother had gone for a walk at the end of her pregnancy with Renva. She came upon the last wisp, reached her hand forward and it disappeared. Looking up from where the wisp was,  she spotted an evader from the wall. Gilliane had hid behind a tree, in hopes of not making herself known to the evader. Unfortunately he had spotted her, startled Gilliane had broken into a slight jog. It was hard to run being at the end of her pregnancy, but she knew exactly the way she came.
It didn’t take long for the evader to catch up to her. He latched onto her left arm and spun her around. Scared for her unborn child, Gilliane had started weeping.
“They’re plotting, the cold blue eyes. Tell the King. We will be done for.” The man had sputtered out, fear showing in his eyes. Confused, Gilliane stayed quiet, “Please you have to tell someone. We need an army, they just keep rising, ple-” The man got out before an arrow lodged itself through his eye socket into his skull.
“My Lady are you alright?” A guard from the wall had tracked the evader and stumbled upon him with Lady Stark in his grasp. “Thank you. Can you please help me get back to my husband?” Gilliane wiped her tears as the guard approached her. “Of course my Lady.” That was the day that Renva was born. Due to the stress of her encounter, Gilliane had gone into early labor. After the birth of Renva she was never the same, Rickon noticed it before his children did.
It was as if she saw something else that day. She would stare off into space mumbling things about having to tell the King about the knight with cold blue eyes. Rickon had no idea what she meant. Eventually she broke free of whatever trace she was in, but it was too late. The maesters would pay her visits daily. Gilliane struggled with walking long distances, it then was hard for her to even get out of bed. She knew her time was coming, so she wrote letters to all of her children. In them she wrote about her hope for their future, things about herself so they would be able to look back and remember what she was like. Gilliane wrote what she looked like. Every miniscule feature she could remember about herself, she wrote down.
She passed not long after Renva’s second name day. It was a sad and quiet time in Winterfell. Rickon mourned for his wife, along with not knowing if he was good enough to raise his three children. Cregan seeing his father mourn, made him want to be able to protect his family. Cregan practically begged his father to start training him at the age of eight. Rickon accepted, which led to them spending most of their time together in the training ground. Ranvir and Renva would spend their time together, forming their sibling bond.
Renva believed deeply in the wisps abilities. After the stories told by those in Winterfell, she wanted to learn more about them. Flipping the book open she started reading about them. She was almost done with the first chapter when she heard footsteps approaching. Glancing up from her book she spotted Princess Rhaenyra.
“Your grace.” She spoke nodding her head and addressing the Princess.
“Revna, I did not expect to find you here. What is it that you’re reading?” She pulled up a chair and sat next to her.
“It’s a book about Wisps. Those of us in the north believe in them, we believe that they either bring doom or luck to those that encounter them.” Renva explained, showing her the page in the book where there was an illustrated wisp. “My mother encountered one the day of my birth, after that she was never the same. My father thinks the wisp doomed her, she would keep mumbling about the ‘cold blue eyes’ but no one knew what it meant.” Renva continued as she closed the book. Picking at the skin around her nails, she glanced up at the Princess. Making eye contact, Rhaenyra took Renvas hands into her own.
“I never met your mother but if she is anything like you I believe she was a wonderful Lady.” Rhaenyra consoled the young girl seeing her eyes tear up as she spoke of her mom.
“Thank you, your Grace. I never really knew my mother, so being able to honor her last wishes is what I can do to feel connected to her.” Renva said, glancing up.
Rhaenyra felt sympathy for Renva, she having lost her own mother was challenging. While Rhaenyra got to know her mother and bond with her, Renva barely remembers her. Rhaenyra couldn’t fathom what she would be like having not known her mother. It made her respect for Lord Stark raise if anything.
“If you ever need a mothers opinion on anything, you can always come to me.” Rhaenyra pulled Renva in for a hug. As the two hugged Rhaenyra could feel the young girls’ body shake trying to withhold the sobs from coming out of her mouth. Rhaenyra herself let a few tears spill from her eyes, making sure to wipe them before the two separated. Rhaenyra knew in the moment, no matter who this girl chose, she would be there for her.
“Thank you for this conversation, your grace. It means a lot, however I must be on my way. I promised to meet the Princes and my brother after their training. It seems I have lost track of time so I must make haste to meet them.” Renva said, wiping her tears and collecting herself.
“Of course darling, and remember what I said.” Rhaenyra spoke, watching Renva slowly depart, giving the Princess a slight bow.

Chapter 3: Training Grounds
Renva was up before the sun was. Thinking about all the things that could occur after last night's dining fiasco. She looked out the window of her and her brother's room and saw what looked like the whole of King’s Landing. She knew in reality it wasn’t, King’s Landing was much bigger than she had thought. All she wished for in that moment was to go back to the cold of the North. To spend her days with her brothers and father. Normally back in Winterfell, Signe would sleep on the floor near the foot of Revnas bed. Unfortunately, those in King’s Landing were weary of direwolves and so treated them as they did dragons. Finding a specific place for them to stay.
Revna got dressed by herself. She didn’t find the need for others to dress her, she’d rather have that time to be alone and to think over things that she has to do for the day. After dressing and styling her hair, Renva left the chamber. Revna had crept through the castle, only seeing servants running about. She came upon an open door which led to the training grounds. There she spotted Signe laying with Nika, she walked over and laid her upper body on her direwolf. The gesture was something the two did often. When Revna was feeling overwhelmed she would often seek solidarity in her direwolf’s company.
She laid there until the sun was up and saw her brother along with the Targaryen and Velaryon Princes step into the training grounds. Revna sat up straighter to get a good look at their training. Oh how she wished women could be trained alongside men, but her brother Cregan told her that it was not a Lady like thing to do. To which six year old Revna rolled her eyes and said, “a lady could do as she pleases, it's men that feel threatened by our greatness”. Her brother would use that line on her whenever she would start to slack in her training.
Renva watched as Ser Christon Cole dueled with Aegon. Even Renva could be a better swordsman than Aegon, it was as if he had no care in the world for training. It didn’t take Ser Cole to disarm him, Aegon was then sent to practice with a practice dummy. Renva chuckled to herself. She knew about the battle for the throne and how many would rather see Prince Aegon on it, rather than Princess Rhaenyra. After Aegon’s display of combat she was sure even a child could beat him. Next up was Aemond, she noticed how Ser Cole spent more time on the Targaryen boys rather than the Velaryon. It didn’t settle right with her, she knew there was something Ser Cole was holding against them.
She couldn’t deny that Aemond was a great swordsman. Seeing him give Ser Cole a hard time was comical. Renva watched as Aemond swung his sword underhanded and knocked Cole’s sword out of his hand. Aemond then gave Cole a swift kick to the chest which knocked him to the ground. Seeing as Cole’s sword was too far for him to reach, Aemond won once he held his sword to Cole's neck.
Renva gave a small clap. The heads of the boys whipped towards her,  noticing her as  she got up from her spot next to sitting Signe.
“Could I have a go?” Renva said as she approached Ser Cole.
“I don’t think so, Lady Stark.”  Cole said as he stood from the ground grabbing his sword.
“And why’s that?” She spoke, crossing her arms. Ranvir took a deep breath knowing where the conversation was heading to. He knew his sister like the back of his hand, and knowing her she was taking Cole's words as if she wasn’t capable of fighting.
“I mean that I am training the Princes and your brother. I cannot possibly train you as well. Jacaerys, you're up.” Cole spoke as he looked to the eldest of the Velaryon Princes.
“I guess you’re not a very good teacher then.” Renva said, unfolding her arms and clenching her fists. Coles head looked towards her. Not one person on the training ground had moved a spot. “Excuse me?” Cole walked towards her, “I mean if you can’t even train a woman what makes you think that you are fit to train Princes?” Renva said with a slight smirk. “I am a knight of the King’s guard and a sworn protector of the Queen. I am fit to train the Princes.” Cole said as his nostrils flared in anger. “Then you should have no problem training me as well.” Renva replied. The Velaryon Princes tried to hide their chuckles, “I think Ser Cole is right, the training grounds are no place for a woman, Lady Stark.” Aemond spoke as he strided up to her. “Then you and I shall spar, If I win I get to train with you all for the remainder of my time here. If I lose I will not bring it up again.” Renva said, looking up at Aemonds face.
She was growing to really despise the one eyed Prince. If he would not let her train, what would he try to control if they were to be married. “I don't want to hurt you Lady Stark.” Aemond responded by taking a step back, “Funny, I don’t want to do the same to you Prince Aemond.” Renva said, stepping forward.
“Very well Lady Stark, go grab a training sword and come back.” Ser Cole said, knowing that once she goes against Aemond he will be able to rid her from his presence. As Renva went to grab a sword Ranvir leaned towards the three Velaryon princes, “This is going to be fun to watch.” He spoke with a smirk.
Renva approached Aemond, twirling the sword in her left hand, “Are you ready”
Aemond swung first, aiming for her sword arm, Revna blocked with minimal effort. Going on the offense Revna stepped forward taking a swing at Aemond’s left knee, her swing was blocked, their swords struck one another. The force of Aemond’s swing knocked Revna back a foot. Regaining her stance she blocked another blow, as he swung down to hit her right shoulder.. Revna faked another swing towards Aemonds knee, as he went to go block Revna swung upwards and hit his right wrist which held his sword. Aemond watched as his sword flew out of his hand and Revna put hers to his throat.
“I win.” Revna smirked as she walked away towards Singe signaling for her to rise. As she heard her brother and the Princes’ minus Aemond clapping, she walked towards Ser Criston Cole with Signe at her heels. “I guess this means I will be joining the lessons. I’ll start tomorrow.” Revna smirked and walked towards the godswood that was in the Red Keep. “Your Graces, brother, I shall see you all after your training.” She slightly curtsied and walked out of the training ground.  Following her were the eyes of a certain brown haired Prince.
