*SalahRush Home-Ed updates and actions:* 1️⃣ January goals: Memorise three Rabbana du'as. These rabbana du'as have been specifically chosen because they focus on brotherhood/sisterhood, forgiveness and virtue. 2️⃣ February: Memorise two variations of Du'a Al-Qunut. 3️⃣ March: Memorise three adhkar to recite after the salah. I will send you these regularly and may set up occasional check-in Zoom sessions. Their graduation will take place after Ramadan, because we will also have a Ramadan goal and I will hold a ceremony and presentation assembly for all SalahRush students, where children will be expected to present, act, sing and recite inshaAllah. This Thursday: a small (but fun) party as its our final session for this course, so please send something to share. I see the blood, I hear the cries. In faith the Palestinian people unite knowing it may be their last day. Strong. Brave. Hopeful, even after so many years of pain.

They are our brothers and sisters in faith. They are joined to us by a moral case. I can't believe it, my mind cannot conceive it. We live in a world that commands justice, countries that claim they are at the pinnacle of civilisation, yet as people suffer, they hide away and spend their time going astray. They fail to prioritise, regardless of their faith. Palestine is not a religious issue, it is a moral issue, it concerns everyone, you and I. We live in a time when really, deep down we don't care. We claim we do, we feel sad, but that's it? Do we really even make du'a for them? Do you pray for them? Imagine if that was you? Is your reaction as you'd want others to react? People go on about animal rights, they care about women rights, but in Ghaza everything is on stake. Women are dying, men are crying, there is no agriculture. Isn't this a crime against humanity?

Why is it that everyone is so quiet? It just makes me think.

Problems, what problems do we face when people are dying, they're crying, death for some is decreed. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon. May Allah (swt) protect them from the opressors :(

I forgot caring about what people thought about me a long time ago, and focused on what my Lord perceived me as. A desirable path to tread, due my love for You. Tripping, slipping and falling sooo often, but I stop and wonder if I really care? Have I deceived myself, have I deceived the world? Is my desire for your pleasure as I hope, or has Shaytan tricked me all bare? May Allah (swt) protect us all!

We care to much of what others think of us, and this is a major factor in how we perceive our own actions and what we decide to, but sometimes it's good not to care so much, for your own sake. O Allah (swt) help me to care about You, above all else, aameen.

I have been deceived I chose you as my friend, when you were my enemy. Enclosed within beauty I could not let you go, but the deeper I wonder, the ugliness become clear. I need to run away. I need a way out. Truly, my Lord is stronger than your hold. Truly, you, Shaytan are nothing compared to the One above.

A being of wisdom. An individual of experience. Powerful. Sombre. Dedicated. But, beyond his might - he was unable to control his emotions. Hence, he let himself down. And due to him *failing* in his responsibility, others suffered the consequences. He's still wise. He is alive. Motivated. He has centuries of experience, but some things have changed. He has become the pinnacle of evil. Full of pure hatred and anger, as he blames the world for his own demise. He is the cursed Shaytan. And I seek refuge in Allah, from you, my sworn enemy.

Time has passed, it didn't go so well. Was it worth falling... Ah - if I'd known, I'd have ran away fearing Your displeasure. A lesson learnt. Time to step up.

I let You down. I forgot. I *almost* fell. Then as I slowly fell to the ground, You caught me and I felt safe. I meant well, I always did what I thought would bring me happiness, in reality I thought he was *right* for my Hereafter. But as time went on somewhere along the road we both lost our way and much to our dismay, we both compromised our deen. I held on, knowing it was incorrect, it was though I was holding on to a burning hot coal, the heat didn't seem to burn me then, but its black mark had stayed with me till this very day...

There will come people in the day of the judgement whom there iman is amazing. Their light is between their rights and their hands. It will be said to them: good news today, enter the paradise eternal In it. The angels, the prophets and the people will be jealous from the love of Allah to them. The sahaba said: Who are they 0 messenger of Allah? He (saw) says: They from me and not from you. You are my companions and they are my lovers. Those people will come after you. They will find a book abollsed by people and a sunnah that had been made dead, so they will start teaching the people the book and the sunnah. The Iman of one of them is like the iman of forty of you and the shaheed of one of them is like the shaheed of forty of you. They will be surrounded by the oppressors from every where. During this time, the victory of Allah will come, and the might of islam will be on their hands.

I want an adventure... Sometimes I want to run away and explore the world. I want to see the poor, feel their pain. See the rich, and see how they live. Come across the criminal, understand where they went wrong, look at the righteous and think, what causes you to be so strong? Wait, is that just me?
