As a side hobby, I've started pressing and preserving the old leaves of my houseplants when I prune them. The top and bottom leaves are from 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘪𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘶𝘮, center left is 𝘚𝘺𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦, and center right is 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘶𝘮. If you would like the try this yourself, simply place a leaf between two layers of absorbent paper (I like to use large coffee filters). Place the layers of paper between two pieces of corrugated cardboard. Lastly, place a heavy object on top of the cardboard, such as a stack of books. My favorite Aroid right now is definitely my 𝘚𝘺𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 '𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵'. I love the heart shape of the leaves, which are unique in this genus in the fact that they do not divide as the plant matures.
