I've been playing Wasteland 3 for a few weeks now after watching a friend play it a little bit and I'm enjoying it a fucking lot 馃憦 So have some preview sketches of the dysfunctional sibling trio鈽濓笍
The game is just so great and I love how your skills matter a lot in certain scenarios and you need to put a decent amount of thought into your placements during battles and make sure you keep your ammo and gear up.
I recruited Victory, partly because I wanted to see something different because my friend chose to kill him and also because he's fucking funny.
I also hated to steal President Reagan from the Gippers and put him in the HQ but I didn't want to kill them or Valor, I really wanted Party Pal though 馃ズ
I also got the two dlcs but haven't started those yet, I've got some side missions to do first 馃憣 I'll probably rant some more in other posts the more I play. :)
THIS GAME SERIES NEEDS MORE RECOGNITION BY THE WAY THERE'S LIKE NOTHING WHEN I LOOK IT UP ON HERE AND OTHER SITES.

So I鈥檝e been to see FNAF twice now and I have some ideas regarding certain scenes and speculations so I鈥檓 gonna put those forward. Last chance to look away:
FNAF spoilers below
So the springlock scene. I鈥檝e seen quite a few people talking about how it doesn鈥檛 make sense William was able to move around and physically fight hand to hand combat style in the suit. Which I think is a genuine question especially when the cupcake of all things is what ended up triggering it. But here鈥檚 some thoughts that occurred to me as I was watching it for a second time.
William has killed in this suit before. It is likely if not absolutely true that the original five murders occurred while he was wearing it as well as any previous or subsequent murders. This is just based on his pathology as a killer, the timing, and the condition of the suit itself. While in better condition than some of the scrapped ones it is pretty beaten up and missing an ear. So he鈥檚 definitely had time to get used to how to move in it safely. It also seems to me that the suit was kept off site and probably wherever William has been living meaning it鈥檚 likely been maintained which leads to my second point.
This is William Afton鈥檚 personal suit. That he wore on the regular. Probably in a springlock suit more often than anyone else ever was. That means he would definitely want it to be safer and better maintained than any of the others that were either rushed or unfinished. It鈥檚 a source of pride for him and clearly something he鈥檚 got a psychological attachment to he鈥檚 going to maintain those locks. It can probably sustain a lot more movement than suits that have been left to rot for decades or newly introduced suits that were pushed out for a launch.
Okay okay last point- I don鈥檛 think it was actually the cupcake that made the springlocks fail. If you pay attention throughout the scene there鈥檚 a couple points where Afton repeatedly takes a bit of a hit in the same area. Most notably when Vanessa shoots him in the chest (which if you watch his face he seems not only surprised but more concerned than anything, perhaps considering the possibility of a failure), and when the animatronics are coming towards him and he bangs his fist against his chest in anger. I could be entirely wrong but I really believe between the time of his entrance and the time the cupcake takes a big chunk out of him the springlocks were getting weaker and weaker and that was the final straw.

Fnaf movie spoilers. Theory Speculation
I was on the hunt for easter eggs and.........
I think "Henry" will be in the movie universe (unfortunately for me lol) .. cus... um...
I wondered why they barely showed the Dad besides a passing glance.
Then I thought for my own sanity I wanted to make sure... cus like..... It couldn't be could it- no way that guy I'm thinking about looks similar and...
Oh crap.
They do look similar....
I checked the credits, and it's impossible to tell. Only "Mike's Dad" has a credit, but the bit background parts in the Tape don't. (I don't think the Tape Girl gets a credit)
It's hard to tell if it's the same actor, but if it is, that could be the reason they didn't show Mike's Dad as much...
I think i found who our "Henry" is...
and maybe have found motivation to why Garret got kidnapped.
Since I 100% Garret will be the Puppet in this movie universe. Considering the music box at the end credits and the "Come find me" speak and spell from the same minigame sounds as "Save him" minigames....
We at least know why this was a premeditated kidnapping (since the car had no liscense plate) and they traveled all the way to Nebraska.
The map in the background is the state they're in. Which is either Utah or Wisconsin? I think? My american geography is rusty. I can't tell what that state is... but I know it's not Nebraska.

William Afton also has a blue tie on when we first see him, in the scene where he realizes who Mike is and briefly shows what looks like remorse/guilt. Also he's in bluish lighting and a couple of blue arcade games are behind him after stabbing Vanessa.馃憦

So I noticed while rewatching the movie that the color blue/really dark blue represents guilt. We see this color on Mike and Vanessa who both clearly have that feeling A LOT. Mike for us inability to see who took Garrett and Vanessa for helping her dad with his crimes and never stopping him. We also see it on Max who's guilty about helping slimy fucking Aunt Jane in trying to get some dirt on Mike. And also even Aunt Jane's lawyer Doug is wearing a blue suit, and he also seems pretty guilty for helping Jane and overhearing their illegal discussions.
And then there's the color yellow which clearly seems to represent Evil/Bad people. We see it on fuckin William the most, he has a yellow shirt on when we first see him in his office with Mike, and then of course the SpringBonnie suit, and he's even wearing a yellow mechanic's jumpsuit on underneath that. Aunt Jane is also seen in a lot of yellow, and she's a greedy cunt trying to take Abby from Mike for the money, and Max's asshole brother/friends are also seen wearing yellow.
The only person this doesn't match with is Vanessa, who isn't really a bad person yet has a yellow shirt on near the end of the movie, but maybe it's to represent how much control William has over her? Like even when he's not there his presence still weighs heavily on her decisions and actions when it comes to going against him
Yeah, that's about all I noticed when it came to color stuff. It was fun rewatching the movie and noticing things I didn't before. 馃憖馃憤

Garrett theory:
so you know how serial killers can be sentimental in a way? like theyll keep a trophy of their kill? i think thats why William kept Garretts plane.
why? i personally think that Garrett was Williams first kill. like ever. its so far from the Pizzeria. its in a random camping spot in the woods. it was so sudden. like it was a spur of the moment thing. he saw the opportunity and just. did it
and then we went as far as to keep the kids toy and give it to his own daughter. its horrible
but its JUST like Charlie Emily. im an Evan Afton was the first death believer, but Charlie can just as easily be. no matter what, Charlie was Williams first murder, and then he kept going.
with that in mind, lets look at the fact that Golden Freddy is inhabited by TOYSNHK. aka the movieverse Cassidy. that slot is filled.
Its Me appeared on the mirror in front of Mike. the puppets music box played during the credits. immediately after 'COME FIND ME' is spelled out with the fnaf 2 minigame robotic letters.
mike himself even said Garrett felt closer in the pizzeria! theres a lot of evidence right now pointing towards Garrett being the puppet. he was the first kill. the first before the MCI, like Charlie
not to mention how the Schmidts seem to be replacing the Emilys in a way. the family name vs family name type thing. dont forget theres also that theory of mikes dad being Henry.
but back to my other point about Evan and Charlie, and how either of them could be the first based on what you believe, it still counts. garrett takes both evan AND charlies roles in the story. like how Vanessa takes Vannys and Michael Aftons. Like Mike schmidt takes michael aftons but also the story of an innocent family who are victims of williams killings by losing a loved one.
Garrett is both the lost first kill of the 'good' family of the story (the emilys in gameverse), AND he has the role of Evan with mike, with mikes guilt and the idea that he can avenge him or save him in a way. hes the Its Me. hes the puppet
(the family (afton + schmidt) duality also works because of the symmetry theme in the movie. also Garrett would be two game characters combined, also applying. just like how the characters i mentioned above also have combinations of two game characters as their own)
anyway this universe is super intriguing and awesome and i cant wait to see what theyre gonna do next
