what eastern europe is doing to brutalist architecture rn is precisely what the soviet union did to historical buildings during their occupation and it pains me so much people of our current time dont see it.

you can think its the ugliest piece of art but it still has historical significance. you cant just tear it down or remake it into a modern glass cube, thats what we are still blaming the soviets for decades after.

if i am evil. i create character A, who indulges often. always eating, always fucking. but time and time again reveal that he is not hungry. he is not lustful. he performs hunger and doesnt truly feel it. he performs sexuality and doesnt truly feel it. and for fifteen years he performs indulgence into desire he doesnt feel. i create character B, who does not indulge. never eating, never fucking. but time and time again reveal that he IS hungry. he is lustful. he denies hunger but feels it deeply. he denies sexuality but feels it deeply. and for fifteen years he refuses to indulge in the desire he feels. and then. in the final season. allow character A to finally desire something. allow character B to confess his desire. and then kill them both before either is able to really indulge in something they truly desire. if i am evil. i do this.

ordered a random, completely good omens unrelated book, and tell me why i get it in the mail today and a neil gaiman quote is on it. why is this man everywhere.

the relationship and soulmate stuff is definitely a part of what i was trying to convey with that post but for me personally its more about how i will never know someone so deeply and so little at the same time bc i have simply not known someone for thousands of years with the obstacle of being enemies as well. its such a unique bond, they are so loyal and devoted to each other as a result of what they went thru and that i think is just not physically and psychologically possible for a mere mortal like me lol. their bond is a one of a kind thing, even in fiction, in my opinion, and i just wish i could love to the extent to which aziraphale and crowley can love.
