Wenzel-Hablik-House in Itzehoe, Germany
Wenzel Hablik was a painter and graphic artist, architect, designer, and craftsman of the early twentieth century, associated with German Expressionism. This was his house and the wall and ceiling paintings were hidden under wallpapers for nearly 80 years. In 2012 the painture was uncovered and they even searched the original furniture to revive the original spirit of that time. This dining room is now in the same condition as on the last b/w photo from the 1920s. More at hablik-projekt.de (German).
