Browsing Wikipedia and discovered there was an intense discussion whether Zagreus Hadesgame was culturally significant enough to include in the 'In Popular Culture' section of the Zagreus Wikipedia entry.

Every once in a while I see someone saying that they "miss" podfic, that they wish podfic was a thing "again", and I'm so baffled by this, because there's more podfic being made now than ever before? Sure, podfic has always been a bit of a niche thing and it still kind of is, but on AO3, there's currently 47k works in the Podfic tag, and 56.7k in Podfic & Podficced Works, and most of it made from 2020 onward (over 30k in both tags). Not to mention all the people who don't post their podfics on AO3 and instead upload them to YouTube and Spotify (and some other platforms too, probably).

If you're so enthustiastic about podfic, then please stop telling everyone we're dead and instead go and listen to some of our work (and leave us some feedback when you do). And if your fandom doesn't have a lot of podfic, then guess what! Making a podfic is also easier now than it has ever been! Just grab your headset/laptop/phone and start recording! I know it's been said a thousand times before, in fandom and just in general, but if you want more of a thing, then you either have to make it yourself, or support and encourage the people who are already making it.

Every time I advocate for voting people are like "no you shouldn't vote! Read this literature, it'll totally change the way you view voting!" And every single time it's the same fucking "you shouldn't vote because both parties are exactly the same so it won't make a difference who wins" bullshit wrapped up in some fancy language
