Allahabad Food Tour | Street Food India
Tumblr media
Burp!!! Yes, I just burped more than thrice ha ha ha. I had been eating all day long. This single day trip, I believe I had this hush rush just to eat all the best Street/Local Food of Allahabad. I didn't leave a single chance to skip even one.
Since my mother had accompanied me on my One day’s trip so, as always Maa's focus was to visit Sangam, wherein my heart was just wandering in the local streets of Allahabad for flavour-full food. Folks! Not my fault, if you have to cross the streets where all sort of Indian Kachori, Chaat etc are being served Hot and Fresh! And their flavours are just hitting the most prominent senses - So that you can smell and taste. Then you are not tending to, you are forced to lose your senses right there and eat like aaa..aaa…😛.
I started with my almost never ending trip of local food. I had visited almost all the local famous street food, to start with:
youtube
Famous Old and Authentic Food Joints of Allahabad (Prayagraj:
1. Netram ki Kachori Sabzi at Katra Chouraha - I chose to go with Netram’s specialty Kachori, I found this Thali very economical – ₹70. I was served with 4 Kachori and unlimited serving of Aloo gobhi, Sabji, Baigun, raita and meethi saunth.
Spicy Medium, what I loved the most was, the food was served in pattal, reminded me of old days, where in villages when we used to visit someone’s celebrations such as marriage or birthday parties, in villages even today these occasions are referred to as Daavat/Dawat.
Pattals are being made by using dried leaves and are being stapled using wooden sticks or dried leaves stems. Nature’s friendly and a perfect use of dried leaves. I have always loved the taste of the food especially when it is being served in such plates. I would say one try once for sure.
2. Raja Ram Ki Lassi at Loknath Gali – I can’t even remember, when was the last time I had such an authentic brilliant taste of Lassi. I am a die-hard fan of earthen pots, Kulhad, and few of the items such as- Indian delicacies and drinks such as Kala Jamun, Lassi, Dahi, rabri, kulhad wala doodh to be precise, I get emotional when served in earthen pots. The fragrance of this pot multiplies the taste and I feel content. Yes! You heard me right, for me good food is like a meditation. Let’s come back to Raja Ram ki Lassi, one of the best lassi, he prepared it fresh, served with malai and rabri on top, ohhh! What a lovely thick consistency of lassi. Now I can’t elaborate any further, as my mouth is almost filled with water. However I must say, if you are in Prayagraj (Allahabad), do not skip this place come what may!
3. Shri Radhe Ras Kunj Sweet House at Loknath Gali – The moment you will enter in this Gali, to your right you will find this shop- Shri Radhe Ras kunj, and very generous owner welcoming you to his shop with overwhelming smile. As he had shared his story with me, His late mother used to prepare this Fruit Cream over-night to be served to the customers. By taking this legacy forward his wife does prepare fruit cream.
This fruit cream is prepared with milk, as he has claims creams are not being used, be it brand. Everything is prepared at home. Hence it tasted so different; texture was smooth and soothing for your senses. You should try, it is worth it.
4. Nirala Mishthan Bhandar at Loknath Road – If you are in Prayagraj     (Allahabad), you can’t skip Nirala ki chaat. Bang on taste.
5. Dehati Rasgulla at Old Laskar, Bairhana – Bhaiya Ji, Rasgulle dijiye, He gave me Gulab Jamun in Kulhad (Earthen pot). Here only in this shop, rasgulla means Gulab jamun. I think that was my day, as where ever I had stopped over to eat, food was served either in pattal or kulhad. Typical back dated Indian style. What else one can ask for. The sweet taste of Gulab jamun mixed with the aroma of Kulhad captivated my taste buds for I don’t know how long. Perfect!!! Hey folks! Good news for you! You can get them packed and take it home in earthenpots, if you are as crazy as I am. People were getting them packed ₹20 pcs-40 pcs. The shop is not very well maintained. But who cares about the looks of the shop. What matters is the taste. At least for me Taste     matters.
6. Lallu Pan Bhandar at Civil Lines – I went to try cold drink, and there he served his special lallu’s cold drink- fizzy drink I must say. Taste was fine however if you are alone female traveler, then get your drink and find another place to relish the taste as there is no place to stand. Not much, but yes a bit     awkward you find yourself standing and sipping.
Tumblr media
My Day in Allahabad (now Prayagraj):
My day also started with the visit to (Prayag- Sangam) during the days of "Magh Mela 2018". Thank God, e-rickshaws are available so we hired an e-rickshaw who took us to Triveni Sangam, there I went to check the rates from the boatman, at first they quoted ₹1400/- which was too much. Then I asked few more, after all the bargaining the least they offered was ₹950. I refused all the quotes and one uncle in Police uniform called us to know what is the issue at the bank of the river. So I had shared my issue, he being too generous, he called one of the boatman, who charged only ₹400/- for just 2 of us.
Prayag- (Triveni Sangam) – One of the holiest places in India to be visited. Though I missed the Sun-rise, but I would recommend you to gauge the sunrise for sure.
Gothlic Style All Saints' Cathedral Church – One of the historic buildings you would love to visit. This place will connect you with the story, why this church has not been completed yet.
To sum it up, this city has lot more to offer for a traveller, people are overwhelming here. Be careful with molesters, as this is one of the busiest holy cities for pilgrims as well as for travellers. Solo female travelers, I wouldn’t mind if you will act strict and rude to local unreasonable guys and this kind of lot you will find anywhere in any city. Else, people of Prayagraj (Allahabad) are very helpful, respectful and kind. I shall visit Prayagraj (Allahabad) soon to see Sunrise.

Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan
Tumblr media
Being a "Marwari", I have always had a close connection with the Royal culture of Rajasthan and its Fort. The huge architectures of the Fort have been narrating stories of great warriors of Mewar and their epic Veer Gatha. I visited Kumbhalgarh Forte - The Pride of Mewar, Located on and surrounded by Aravalli hills.
Lets take a quick virtual tour of this fort in my Vlog.
youtube
The walls are standing high and wide as a Fortress with 38 kilometers long wall by securing all fronts and leaving no chance for an enemy to cross the line. I have been to 2 other forts too, somehow the structure of this place from the top had my jaw dropped, I meant it, hadn't been there other people around, I doubt if would have had stayed as calm as I tried to be.
Tumblr media
Visiting The Great Wall of China has been in my bucket list since I read it in my G.K. book in standard 3rd if I am not wrong. While taking a walk in Kumbhalgarh Fort, I was having a hard time to believe, I being a proud Indian too have “The Great Wall of Kumbhal Garh Fort”,
Tumblr media
This was my expression (no offense to The Great Wall of China- which is still in my bucket list). I had started imagining of the good old days how all people of the security regime must be keeping an eye from distant, as I was able to see everything. Then there were two separate sections for King and Queen and the Birth place of the Greatest Warrior Maharana Pratap Singh.
On the way to Kumbhalgarh Fort, I had fun sitting on Ox-cart which were collecting water for irrigation in old fashion for uncle’s farming field. In Hindi we address it as कोल्हू, in English I shall have to dig in to my vocabulary (laugh out loud). I didn’t expect to witness this one ever. I could barely stop laughing as I laugh when I am happy, I just don’t smile. Loved It!!! To understand it better, you may see it in the beginning of my vlog that how I lived that moment and how that ox-cart look like. My Kumbhalgarh Fort Vlog has got it all.
The only thing I was upset about was the time, as I had reached late, so I couldn't get to take a walk on the complete wall . Watch my enlisted video to get a glimpse of this Indian Heritage Site.
Tip : Once the Fort is closed and you still wish to spend sometime then there are other activities such as sound and light show towards temple, which you may purchase tickets for if you wish to. I didn’t as I was occupied in fabricating stories in my head (are there any spirits or not if yes then what next?) (WINK).
I would Like to extend my gratitude to the state government of Rajasthan "Rajasthan Tourism" for maintaining the site well, ensuring to keep it clean. They have built new Washrooms for the visitors. Food stalls are also available there. You need not be bothered about food or washrooms if you are traveling with Family or friends or if you have toddlers.

Ahoi Ashtami - Prayers for All
Tumblr media
When I was a child, I often used to listen to our neighbours and friends instructing my mom not to offer prayers on the account of Ahoi Ashtami or observe fasting in North India. And my mom being a righteous woman used to ask a simple question, why is it so difficult for you to offer your prayers for your both children be it a girl child or a boy. Where has it been mentioned in any of the religious old texts, or forbidden that a mother should only offer prayers followed by fasting, if a female is blessed with baby boy? God doesn’t discriminate among his/her children. Then why should we? I cherish my daughter, I cannot see her crying, being in pain, I pray for her all day long. What was the sin of my daughter or any daughter that she doesn’t deserve our love and prayers? When we are in pain she is the one who is ready to sacrifice her sleep, her studies and carrier over us. She is the one who carries the burden of two families and carried forward our values to the next generation. Don’t you think if needs the blessings too, in fact she needs attention, care and love more than anyone in this universe. My mom sobbed, she proudly said my daughter is my Treasure in true sense, she is my pride. She left everyone stunned few of the ladies were not happy, for them my mother doesn’t value our rituals.
Tumblr media
But from where I see, these are the ladies who do not cherish their girl child, and raise them as a burden. My mother was lucky enough as she was blessed with decent in-laws, where my grandparents used to support her for her belief and used to admire her for being the great mother in true sense. Here is my question to all the families, their in-laws, mother are you really being unbiased parents to both of your child. Do you really think daughter should be excluded from this Ritual? Do you? The answer lies within you; let your conscious work. Let’s see how many mothers come forward and their respective families shall support their daughter-in-law, daughters, sisters and wives. Just let your daughter know you are fasting for her too, and see her twinkling eyes will be filled with oceans of love for you… for once do the right thing. Will you?

My question is that why do you love being a travel blogger
Dear reader! I have been writing since I was a child, only 2 people were aware about my love for writing. When I travel, I am bind to share and write about it. I want people to know how I felt when I was there. Nothing could be better then Blogging to reach out to as many travelers, I can and stay connected. May be few people might get inspire and gift them this quality time by traveling to places. I have mixed notions. There is  not just one thing, the places I go to, I want everyone to know of how I see things. I may write a book for this one simple question.

Weekend Getaway to Haridwar - Rishikesh | Travel Vlog
youtube
My much awaited trip to Haridwar - Rishikesh, sharing with you through my travel Vlog & Blog. Since weekend was due I thought of traveling to the nearest place which is Rishikesh (I am highlighting weekend getaway as if I have been going to office everyday for work and weekend is the only time I get to relax Ha Ha Ha, I never leave a chance to pose as workaholic, even if am just busy in day dreaming). Started the engine around 2:00 PM, wheels rolled from Delhi towards my favourite city of temples.
Dare to miss it ;) Famous Meerut's Jain Shikanji
Right after crossing Mohan nagar I kept looking for only one place to silent my cravings. "The Famous Jain Shikanji" of Meerut. I loved the style it was prepared with. Watch my Travel Vlog to get a glimpse of what I am referring to with a wide smile on my face.
Yippee.. time to pull the lever at our first stop which was Jain Shikanji (Kadrabad). I can bet, you would never find the same or better taste of Shikanji else where until people are not using their shikanji powder at least I couldn't ha ha ha... Along with Shikanji I placed an order for Matar Kulcha (lajawab) what a taste! Aghh. I would not suggest, I would rather insist whenever you are on this route, make sure you are grabbing Shikanji and Matar Kulcha. How can I not mention the Nan Khatai I had at the same place. This shop is at the extreme right corner of the Jain Shikanji (Kadrabad). They are too soft and yummishh. Do try for sure.
Haridwar - Food at Hari ki Pori
We continued our drive towards Haridwar, after driving for approximately 4 hours  we reached Haridwar. This place has been very close to my heart since childhood. I can walk in this Holy City all alone and can be your guide any given day. Maha Aarti at Hari Ki pori or having kulfi served in fresh leaf at the ghat is one can't get enough ever. I love to spend my time during the midnight at main ghat feeling the abundance of Holy Water "Ganga Ji".
The moment we were crossing the bridge the view at the night was so insightful which brought a big smile on my lips. Without wasting any minute we parked our car and straight away headed to Hari Ki Pori. I went to Main Ghat, offered my prayers asap and ran for food.
I raided "Mohan Ji Poori Wale", and had Poori sabji, Suji Ka Halwa and Samosa with aalu ki sabzi, all at once. I found authentic taste of poori sabzi, the best place for travellers like I am. You may order anything, the taste would never disappoint you! I must say.
Once through with my dinner, I sat on the main Ghat and spent quality time by just dipping my feet and observing the current of Gangaji. The Holy water has healing properties, you feel relaxed when you just sit on the stairs while keeping your feet under the water. I find it as a kind of meditation for me, which calms my nerves system and rejuvenate my thought process.
*I prefer my visit Only at the midnight! since its over crowded with the devotees for Holy Shower.
I didn't want to leave somehow I had to as I had planned to visit Rishikesh as well. We started again towards Rishikesh. Checked In the hotel had a tight sleep
Rishikesh - Explored and Did it ! (What?) Allow me (Wink)
Morning in Rishikesh- Woke Up and post crossing the bridge I wandered in the local streets of Rishikesh. I went to Ganga Beach Cafe for Breakfast- there I had Bruschetta and Ginger Lemon Tea, at the bank of the river. I can’t forget the taste ever of this tea, couldn’t have find the better taste. The view was perfect for my breakfast so was the taste.
I took a walk to Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, tried the local fruits such as Chakotra and Ramphal etc. Whenever I am travelling I always prefer the local food, fruits and drinks. Else my travel is incomplete. If you are travelling to any place be open to explore new taste and places if you really wish to know the place by heart.
One of the activity from my to-do check-list was cycling not In Delhi but else where. I found a shop which rents bicycle for INR -300 more or less, so I rented the basic bicycle and terrorized people on Ram jhula (hahaha as people were running for their lives) and then city. I had fun, poor friend of mine I made him ride his basic bicycle on uneven high and sloppy roads (laugh out loud). My day couldn't have gone better than this.
After the sunset we went to Royal Cafe and Freedom Cafe, both places offers their own specialty. Music is great at Royal cafe, food is also good, on a personal note I prefer Freedom cafe as the view is what always troubles me whenever I have to pick a place. And what had added jewel to the night was the locals singing and playing musical instruments at the best. The exhilarating eve it was!
Watch the video, let me know if you second the opinion!

Sbarro - New York Style Pizza Slice in Connaught Place | Foodcritic
It was beautiful evening and I was craving to munch something. That something could be anything. In the quest of didn’t know what I was looking for? I walked across the inner circle twice at Connaught place, Delhi and hopped in Sbarro.
For the love of God! These guys are serving New York Style Pizza Slice, so I don’t have to over loath me with all the slices. Now this time we had placed an order for atypical taste which was ‘Barbecue Veggie. It was a combo served along with 2 garlic bread and soft drink. As they were preparing fresh slices, they had served us with Garlic bread along with tomato sauce.
Tumblr media
Breads were soft and when I dipped in the tomato sauce, scrumptious! Come on I can barely write now, wish if I could make a run to Sbarro at this moment. Aghh!
Time to snap out of dreams, now the time for Pizza slice. My first bite of barbecue Sauce with smoky toppings, yummy yum. Slice was perfectly baked toppings were flattering the taste. You can’t feel it until you have it.
Tumblr media
Ambience: seating arrangement is fine.
Cleanliness: Staff was on the spot to clear the leftovers.
Service: service was delayed. It would be wise, for Connaught place site if they increase the manpower. As what I could see, there was only one guy who was at the billing and serving. When I asked for the paper napkin, it took 5 minutes for him to hand me over.
Price: I found Sbarro as a better option for the people like I am, who would love to have single slice. Affordable pricing I would say. You will find varieties in combo. I would suggest opting for combos. For taste I would say one of the best taste I have ever had in India. Pizza Maniacs this is right place for you.

Stopover at Dehradun | Vlog at Gucchu Paani
Next day after having my breakfast, I spent 15 minutes on Mall road, Mussoorie. Thereafter I had started driving towards Dehradun Valley. Weather was so pleasing and it was lightening sometimes, just few KM’s before the city, there is a Temple named Prakasheshwar Mandir (Lord Shiva), I have high regards for the people who are running this place. You are not supposed to make a donation to anyone, and what I loved the most is that the milk or water they are offering to Lord Shiva’s Ling, it is not being wasted or trashed out in sewers, this milk is used to prepare tea and is being distributed as Prasad. They have very strict rules regarding donations, I completely agree with their thoughts, God is Supreme, he doesn’t need anything, if we really wish to do good, lets help needy, not beggars I insist. So I accepted the Prasad, sat there for sometime and then started on the road again. The moment I had entered outskirts of Dehradun, Rajpur road it started raining heavily.
Gucchu Paani (Robber’s Cave)
I had been to Dehradun several times, so this time I decided to go to a place where I have not been already. Next morning, I drove approximately for 7 KMs, for Gucchu Paani (Robbers Cave).
A unique cave which has a hidden waterfall flowing across the trek has given the cutting edge distinction to Uttarakhand Tourism for the abundance of its natural resources.
Tumblr media
I was scared at once as my friend had encountered 4-5 water snakes in the cave years ago, however lucky me Wink!. I was spared and I couldn’t find even one… ha ha ha. Still whenever any dried leaves were touching my legs I was jumping off the ground with terror. I had been in to caves but this was different due to its waterfall. I was passing on caves from one to another with an ease. The complete view was engaging, it is just I have been wondering why is it called robbers cave, and looking for the real story behind Guchhu Paani, not the story made up by some guide. Genuinely I want to know!!! To give you a short tour of Guchhu Paani, I have attached the video, enjoy your virtual trip.
youtube
To sum it up, I would say, this is one of the best place in Dehradun I had visited till date. I would anxiously keep coming back to this cave also I would suggest you to visit once for sure.
Travel Tips: 1. Carry an extra pair of clothes and allow your-self to play & get  soaked in this waterfall. 2. I would strongly recommend you to rent foot wears (slipper) which costs ₹10/- only per pair.

A Day like this in ‘the Queen of the hills’; Mussoorie
It is early summers in India and the temperature spiked in Delhi after 15th of March. This time I thought of traveling to Uttrakhand. Recently I had been to Jammu and pilgrimage Mata Vaishno devi. There I took almost all my woolens to stay warm in cold. Surprisingly I could not bear the temperature in Jammu. My mother and I kept sweating, during the trip. So I decided not to carry even a single woolen what so ever. When I had started my journey towards “The Queen of the Hills”, the climate was really hot; however after crossing Roorkee, the climate had favoured with clouds and drizzle.
Freezing welcome in Mussoorie!!!
From Roorkee to Dehradun it was dark and the trees were narrating the stories of ghost. I was not scared but if anyone who is scared of walking right in the middle of scary trees in the dark needs to be careful, imagine!!! while crossing through these woods all of a sudden see a stranger face sitting right next to you!!! Laugh out loud. After driving for few kilometers it had started raining just right in time. I took a tea-break for 15 minutes, from where my destination was just 20 KMs ahead. I had never seen the Dehradun valley at mid-night, while driving towards Mussoorie, Spectacular view was it; the entire city was covered with colourful lights. Cool drizzle was pleasing all of my senses aesthetically.
I had reached Mussoorie around 03:00 A.M. in the morning, I got out of the car and there I was slashed by freezing wind. My expression was, “What is this? It seemed like in winters I was drenched with a full bucket of cold water. What A WELCOME!!!
Thereafter I checked in the Hotel slept well. Next day instead of driving to the Mall road, I decided to take a walk, HAHAHA, you know what! It was spine chilling day!!! And I really mean it. People were wearing sweaters, jackets and I was in cotton mix apparel. I acted like a pro… and… ahhh! In my itinerary there was no sign of woolens not even close to warmers.
Tumblr media
Smart ME
I chose to visit the aquarium, in order to avoid these cold waves which were killing my enthusiasm. Aquarium ticket costed me only 35/- per person. They are maintaining really well. They do not have a lot of species however whatever they have, they are worth watching. Well it was time for me to be knocked out in the shivering night once again.
KALSANG - Tibetan Restaurant at Mall Road
Time to flatter my taste buds, to start with their ambience: all pale lights in yellow and red, and Tibetan music creating a soothing aura around. I had placed an order for Devil’s Vegetable Momos in Tibetan style costed approximately 159. They were served soaked in a red hot curry, luscious I must say, spicy yet I couldn’t resist the taste. I can drive to Kalsang any time only to have Devil’s Momos at any given time.
Tumblr media
For my Main Course I had ordered Thai green Curry with steamed rice. This curry was creamy, the vegetables were fresh, and the aroma and the taste of the curry was authentic. I would recommend each one of you, to try their food. It’s worth it.
Tumblr media
Kempty Falls
Next day I had started early and drove approximately for 16 kilometres. Kudos to Uttarakhand Tourism! as they have maintained this place really well, and still in the process of keeping the standards. Also they have started Gandola services for the people who are not able to walk down to the waterfall, but possess the wish to enjoy the serene beauty of this natural fall.
Forgot to carry an extra pair of clothes, or you could not resist from jumping in to falls, then need not be bothered here you will find plenty of changing rooms which would provide you rented clothes.
The only thing which I could not stand is that the waterfall has been turned in to a natural pool. It has commercialized thoroughly. Which has trashed out the natural beauty of the waterfall, however the fall is still the same, and I couldn’t hold for long without jumping in to the fall. I had loved the stimulating water. Felt so relaxed after spend some time. Here you may engage yourself in other activities like flying fox and few more. There is a vlog attached to my blog to give you the details of this place.

Doctor Strange Movie Review
Moviecritic of Doctor Strange
Last night I watched Doctor Strange from Marvel Studios in 3D. I wasn’t aware of what I was about to witness however one thing I was certain about this movie was that this one is going to be beyond my imagination and expectations. This story is about a Neurosurgeon who met with an accident after which he learned something which we know but do not accept. Actions are very well cast. Visuals have been crafted so well, surreal experience. I loved this movie not only because of actions but the knowledge which has been shared as spiritual one. How can we harness our energy, use it for our own betterment and others too. We have enough power to heal our ailments; the only thing which is missing is the belief and zeal to surrender. I am so much moved with this movie, the visual effects which have been used as other worlds or dimensions  have ripped me apart.
Performance of Benedict Cumberbatch & Tilda Swinton in Marvel’s Doctor Strange
Now coming to Actors, Benedict Cumberbatch has already done tremendous job in Sherlock Holmes, which I used to watch, somehow what I didn’t know was that he has acted in movies as well. Hence this is my first movie to see him as a lead actor and I am off the ground.
Tumblr media
Expressions are so real, I liked his cape, and laughed out on scene when his cape tried to wipe his tears… there are lot of scenes I had enjoyed the most. Tilda Swinton I had seen her work in Chronicles of Narnia all the sequels. I am already a fan. In this movie her character is ancient one and the way she has played her role is flawless. All the supporting actors have done a great job. And now I am more excited and waiting for the sequel movie of Thor and Doctor Strange. Well I would rate this movie 5/5. I am thrilled.

Chaayos | Tea cafe in Noida | Restaurant Review
I have been to lot many local food joints lately which I have not shared yet as I was too lost in the food I forgot to click the pictures. Well this time I had ensured before I receive my order I shall click few pictures for sure. I was in DLF Mall of India, Noida for killing time, it was Monday. After checking out few stores I craved for something to drink. So instead of any other joint I thought of trying Chaayos. First thing first, while placing an order the representative was courteous and friendly. He suggested me to try Vada pav along with my Peach Ice tea, and I liked his confidence the way he insisted me to give it a try for sure impressive. So my final order was one peach iced tea, Modinagar Shikanji and Vada Pav.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile my Ice Tea was getting ready I decided to look around, sitting arrangements are decent, staff was very proactive when it was the question of hygiene and cleanliness. The moment people left and their leftovers on the table, very next moment someone would come and clean the table and leave as it has never been used before.
Now time for my treat, their service time is 10 minutes at max. First sip of my Peach Tea, taste was average, and it was lacking the effect of ice. My first bite of vada pav bun was soft which means they have used fresh bun, vada was close to perfect not too spicy not too blunt a good try to bring all the flavors of Marathi vada pav to Delhi. I would give 6/10 to Vada pav since the most important ingredients were missing like fried green chillies which are served along with Vada Pav. Now time to sip in Modinagar Shikanji, nada, nowhere close to Modinagar Shikanji. Over all experience was great. I liked Vada pav. However I think improvisation is needed in Drinks. That’s all for now shall come up with more reviews soon.

What all I did while Celebrating Dussehra in Delhi
Ohh My God, this is the first time when I am going to witness the Grand celebrations of Navratri Season. I was getting impatient how it’s going to be. Well we parked our car nearby Ramleela ground, Delhi. When we entered what I saw giant wheel spinning, wohoo! I love to swing in full swing (a wide open smile with bright eyes). There we saw lots of food stalls, games stalls, but first thing first, we served ourselves to the big food stall where they were serving the authentic taste which has capacity to outcaste any restaurant running in town for Indian dishes as these chefs are none other than “Halwai” who have never been to any college per se to learn the cooking, they are the legacy of India ohh I was so overwhelmed with the flavours and thanks to my friend as I was introduced to “Fruit Kulle” (Delhi style fruit chat), Luscious each fruit had a filling juicy, synced in with sweet and sour taste. Single plate was not enough not to me at least.
Tumblr media
Opposite to the food stall “Chapters of The Ramayana were being narrated by the actors.” I had never seen before Live Ramayana that’s too in Ramlila ground, New Delhi.
Then we moved to next fair which was adjacent to where we were standing. There we go, another section named “ Lav Kush Ramlila Committee” Live show, but this was more towards modern Ramayana, same fables with improvised technology, more music and dance. In fact for the first time I saw characters in Ramayana flying, not by themselves but with the help of crane. However I had enjoyed I was mesmerized with the performances of the dancers, their energy and the gigantic stage set up. What else I can say I insist if you are in Delhi then don’t you dare to miss this opportunity, oops my belly started bloating again for more food and new taste (laugh out loud). So this time we went back to our food stall and had “Moong dal Cheela” prepared in Desi ghee, with paneer filling, accompanied with green chutney and sweet saunth. Delectable I couldn’t resist green chutney, essence of purity, mouth-watering. Hmm ok time to snap out of it. Fellows I can guarantee the goodness of taste which you will find here you would not be able to find elsewhere, other than their own local shops.
Tumblr media
Time for sweet, haah we moved back to the next committee and had fruit cream, which was exquisite, or rather I must say there is no such word does exist in the dictionary which may compliment the taste of fruit cream, however not everyone can serve so I must insist the same people who had served us “Babu Ram Gupta Kulfi Wale” are the best. After fruit cream we had Aam” Papad flavor and then Rose Water, Rose Water was unusual in taste you wonder why, I would suggest try it Wink !

BurgerPizza from Domino’s is moreish fast food | FoodCritic
Tumblr media
I was super charged with an idea of how Burger and Pizza would flatter each other. Hence we placed an order from Domino’s for new edition to Pizza family “Burger-Pizza” vegetarian, which costs @ Rs 89* plus taxes. Each moment for me was battling with my own senses, patience, I was equally impatient as any toddler would be when he/she are told that there is a surprise wrapped in a particular box and they can’t open it until its time. Oh My God!!! What kind of a craving was that I still fail to understand? Even there were three boys having the same Burger pizza next to our table and only one word could define my feelings “Covetous”. Ahhh!
Well here is my Pickkkkkkkkk! Before I jumped on to my order, with a heavy heart I got the picture clicked so that I may share experience with you. After which no talking my first bite, “mmmm” soft and fresh bun, filling inside was moreish, melting cheese, fresh vegetables I was like taking a deep dive. Ok, that’s it, now if you want to feel the same, then I would suggest you to visit the Dominos instead of placing an order online. Share your views if you too feel the same.

Delhi - Goa - Delhi, Road Trip
Delhi To Goa in 44 Hours via road
So here what we did, out of the blue, we planned to go to Goa once again this time it was the eleventh hour, around 8:30 pm. Next move was to choose mode of transport, since Myles (Self driven car Rental Company in Delhi) have discontinued our all-time favourite TATA NANO, so which car should we pick. We opted for Hyundai i10 Grand, reason 1. Diesel  2. mileage. I was sceptical due to the seat comfort, but we made the booking. This time we didn’t wish to make a stopover in any of the cities, we thought let’s go at one stretch. I couldn’t sleep, since I was damn excited of driving non-stop to GOA, at the same time I was scared what if I fall asleep…
So we started at 04:30 A.M. from Delhi to conquer our Love, GOA!!! We took the route from Delhi - Udaipur - Surat - Thane – Konkan district - Goa, we skipped Pune route we didn’t find it interesting.
Tumblr media
We took halt where we slept in car in total for 3 and a half hours, I slept more than 4 hours we parked our car at Gas station and took a power nap for not more than 45 minutes at one go. This time we didn’t miss any scenic beauty coming through our way. Be it mineral mountains OR green vegetation. After 30 hours of driving I was sitting and enjoying the view suddenly unexpectedly I fall in to the trap of subtle nap, as an act of innocence like I never closed my shutter bugs not even for a second so that my friend would never get to know if I am sleeping at all, hahaha, my bad he is an smart … very next moment he starred at me taunted Parima, and I began with my justification I said, “I was thinking was not sleeping”, laugh out loud!. That’s how we managed to enjoy our trip, lost in roads, highways, and after 44 hours we managed to reach GOA!!! Around 12:30 AM. The moment we entered Goa, what we saw after which we couldn’t stop but laugh, is Mr. LOBO’s Birthday, Mr. LOBO’s Cutout(MLA in Goa). Last year the same time we happened to be here and witnessed the same. We started our night patrolling even before the check-in at the Hotel.
What we did in Goa in 4 days?
Day 1: Next day we went to Baga Beach invested our evening at the beach side; there was one Beach shack, we ordered for Malai paneer tikka. We took a long walk then left to check out the market for the most happening street of GOA TITO’S lane. Since I fall asleep as soon as I sat in the car hence we returned to the Hotel and slept.
Day 2: Followed by next day we went to our all-time favourite Anjuna Beach, nothing had changed. We decided to sit in shack where in we placed an order for Olives toast.
Tumblr media
I couldn’t get enough of Anjuna, soon after it started raining. We left early around 03.30 PM since we had to attend our Pool party at Sinq Beach Club. There we go, we paid INR 500/- for a couple entry and we were at the party. What was exciting the most, the DJ “BULLFROG”, what an enthralling event it was; they know how to engage people, more than 1000 clubbers, electrifying music. We had potato balls there and drinks. Just like the last time just before closing the night we were drenched in the rain, souls soaked in the music. Didn’t wish to go home, but had to…Phew…party got over by 11:00 P.M.
Now what to do for dinner so we headed towards our Favourite café Curlies, we ordered Veg Gourmet Pizza, view was complimenting luscious Pizza.
Day 3: Next day we planned to explore where we have never been to, so we got one location Beach Arambol. But I cannot move an inch if am HUNGRY!!! So we went to my favourite ‘Vada pav’  shop, and had my brunch. Even I had been troubling my friend to buy me Vada pav after we crossed Thane. The moment we reached Arambol beach, turned out to be I didn’t expect, I thought Morjim was the only beach where we can drive. Folks I forgot to share with you this time it was different me being at beach, you want to know why? Because I was not scared of waves anymore I was feeling connected with their force, I played there for some time and then entrapped my view from one of the shacks took our back seat at sun-loungers. During monsoon this beach is not crowded; Thar is available if people want to experience driving on the beach. The way waves were emerging; taking a leap on one another was a treat to my eyes and nevertheless sounds of sea waves were like a music playing into my ears. My dear fellow took his relaxing nap, I think each beach has its own speciality the sand of this beach is a mixture of Gold and Black. We spent our entire evening there relaxing as next day we had to leave early so we said Goodbye to the beach and left for the day.
It’s not what we decide, it’s what is in our fate, I met friend of my friend, ‘Mr. Butter Chicken’, who wanted to relax and drink, so we crossed out all the options except one, which was Anjuna Beach, or you can say Anjuna called us back to show off his tantrums once again, Terrific view I must say, words can’t define the beauty of Anjuna.
We left half-heartedly the site as we had to leave early for Delhi. Next Day we woke up had breakfast and left with a never ending URGE! to return to GOA.
In total we drove 4413 KM.

Carl’s Jr. Chargrilled Burgers in Noida | Foodcritic
Since I and my friend were hungry and are always ready to explore new food joints. What a coincidence we were killing time in DLF MALL of India. Here we go we opt for Carl’s Jr. Chargrilled Burgers.
Tumblr media
As usual in the quest of showering my taste buds with new and different taste I placed an order for Mango Jalapeno Burger thinking that Mango must be the main ingredient and I started visualizing how would that burger look like and how about the taste. In the meanwhile when we turn around to be seated, what we encountered all the tables were occupied, Wait!!! Not with the customers it was their leftovers, and staffs were not even bothered to clear the tables. My friend relate this mess as few minutes ago birthday party was catered hence they could not clean the tables. Though it was 10:30 P.M. at night but we were not the only ones, who were there to have burgers, already people were sitting there and enjoying their orders. We had to ask thrice from the staff to get the tables clean, in return they simply cleaned up only one table, rest all the tables were filled with trash.
Anyways we took the table and time to dig in. I was all about taste my first bite, and that burger didn’t tickle my buds, I thought maybe I was in a hurry, let’s go subtle this time. My next bite, didn’t ring a bell at all, I was expecting mango, nothing as it was mentioned. Ideally if you are naming a dish that’s too first name should be the main ingredient of that dish, instead they had used signature sauce. It was too spicy as it was giving burning sensation in my throat due to which it became difficult for me to swallow. I didn’t like the patty either; this was the first that I had been disappointed thoroughly.  I shall only give 1 out of 5, as we were hungry needed something to eat. Had it been great if they have lived up to the Burger’s name as it’s suggested?

Moviecritic of Baaghi | 2016 Bollywood movie
Movie was shot in Kerala & Bangkok. In this movie what I liked the most is that they have focused on fight scenes, each move was a Wow for me. Even I was not aware that it’s not a Chinese art; these fighting techniques have been originated from India. To be honest for me both Actors be it Tiger Shroff or Sudheer Babu were a hero. Though there is a disconnect in story like what happened when Tiger left, since Shraddha was supposed to marry Sudheer, but the action sequence was so powerful I could barely took my eyes off. I loved the way Guruji was training him, the discipline to train the mind along with the body. Also I enjoyed one dialogue the most, when Tiger Shroff said “Chinese zyada din chalta nahi hai” Laugh out loud. Tiger Shroff despite of being a great dancer and a fighter still he really needs  to work on his expressions I didn’t connect not even once, in fact I found Sudheer’s expressions very well executed at least I could feel. Not even a single song I can recall, the only Key to the success of this movie is action nothing else. Last part when Ronny (Tiger) broke his ribs, spine using mixed martial arts (MMA) and the way this has been visualized is remarkable. I have witnessed few moves in Munnar, Kerala, which is known as Kalari, even today people practice such arts. These fighters are so subtle in their acts, they had used swords, fire and more.
Director has done a tremendous job only in actions, expressions of a leading actor were awful, Soul less expression. To sum it up, just go and watch the movie its worth of your time for only action lovers, as romance hasn’t done well in this movie.

Akshardham Temple | Delhi Attraction
I enjoy anything when it comes to me as an unplanned visit, so there I was at Akshardham Temple, Delhi. Though I had been living in Delhi since the year of 2003, but never get a chance to visit this spiritual edifice. Time for my Grand entry (laugh out loud), since I already have been to Heritage temples, old to one of the oldest so I wasn’t really mesmerized by seeing the artefacts of this temple however I loved the way it is been constructed, combination of history with modern technology has created such a soothing environment where in you can enjoy the ancient structure in nowadays style. I felt better after the dusk as during the day time, this place was so crowded I couldn’t feel connected or peaceful like I did in Bodh Gaya or Dzong/Tiger Nest in Bhutan. One needs at least a day to explore the entire facility.
Tumblr media
Life of Creatures in jungle is very well being carved specially the Elephants and Lions. Let’s talk about Swami Narayan’s Temple or main temple, great work; you can see the story of Swami Narayan, and his Gurus. The best feature was yet to be explored by me, which was “WATER SHOW”. Only thing I would say ancient story with today’s technology “Deadly combination”. I couldn’t imagine any better at all, message is conveyed through a story and I want people to know very well received. Must Watch, for Adults it costs only 80/- but this show’s worth is beyond what any of us are paying for. Entry is free, enough space for parking, stringent security check for the visitors which I appreciate. Cloak room is available for phones, cameras, and digital item, big handbags, people chewing tobacco or who have consumed alcohol during their visit, shall not be permitted in the premises. Akshardham Metro Station is on walking distance if you are planning to commute by public transport
Since visiting Akshardham Temple consumes almost entire day hence one can find food joints, as per their own taste. Almost everything is available including sweets. Such as Chhole - Bhature, Khichdi, Samosa, Kachori, Dosa, Thali (North Indian and South Indian), Dhokla, Aloo Tikki, Gulab jamun, Mishti Dai, Shrikhand, varieties of Pastries etc  at a nominal price. Very Clean, staff makes sure that each table should be clean before anyone occupies it.
Note: Cameras/Mobiles are strictly not allowed inside the temple. Staff will offer you a free cloak room service to store it.
I am going to visit this place to watch “WATER SHOW” once again worth of my time.
