My idea for Inktober Day 29 „Unity“. 🖤 Ok it’s not pure ink but I needed to experiment a bit with decent colors. I also noticed that a more loose line application (I don’t know how to translate german „Linienführung“) is more fun and makes everything a bit more natural looking. I think this is my last inktober piece because today my 20 hour journey back to Germany starts 🚌🚗✈️🚅

There was so much love and good vibes in this place, what I never expected when I choosed "Graus" for a workaway location. Now my weeks in the pyrenees are over but I'm sure I will keep them in my heart forever ._.

🌲And it's done! Finally !🌲 It's a personal piece but luckily it fits #inktober and #drawlloween 🕯Although it's not having a title yet, the alternative would be: "Damn Sarah, just learn drawing stupid hands!"

I like those rainy days. They are perfect for reading and reflecting about whats going on lately. Currently I have a lot of projects that have to do with art, but are not drawing or painting...fo example a fotoshooting yesterday in an old farbic. I love the rusults, you can see them here: Elisabeth Mochner - Photographie I thought this sketch from last year could be interesting. I never thought, drawing children would be so challenging...I always fell back in the routines of drawing womenes faces. But it shows how special anything "childlike" is and how we all getting older ew :D The studied object was the painting  "Her favourite Pets" by Sophie Gengembre Anderson.

Happy Women's Day to all the amazing girls, mothers, grannies, sisters, girl-bosses, daughters, girlfriends, tomboys, muses and ladies out there!👏 For a reason I prefer to paint females. Women are such beautiful creatures that deserve to be treated with respect and equality of opportunities. I want you to ✖️empower each other and ✖️fight against any "labels" they put on you. ✖️Never be afraid to stand out and ✖️spread your magic to the world!

A little sketch I created during the Graphic Days. Comfort Zone for sure, but I absolutly adore landscapes like this you normally find illustrated on black magic cards. I don't care if they offer cookies, I would always choose the dark side anyway.

I'm having a great time at the #graphicdaysberlin! The other competitors are setting high standards, but its great to be a Part of this creative awesomeness!

Remember the sketch I posted last week? Yay so here you see an extract from the final result for the artcontest. For the challenge we had to create a "badass female hero"🤔...so my gurl is kind of a "breaker of chains" for endangered animals.⛓🦏🐘🐆⛓ The concept behind is serious but you have to read her story with a wink. Wish you all a "badass"-start in the new week!🙅🏼

I started quite reminiscing into the weekend, so I wanted to show you an older piece called "Reflector" I created in 2013. Yea...all owls are beautiful, but I can identify the most with the barn owl. 🦉🌑

That moment when you have the same face expression like the character you draw, because there is another blackout in your house...four hours. Again. Like the week before. Without any notifications grr.

Good News: I got accepted for an art exhibition in Erfurt. The last days I worked out a concept. In the last years I created about 40 drawings/sketches/artworks/illustrations and one poem(eh :D I'm studying literature...inspiration = 0). I'm proud that I created so many pieces, but they make it difficult to select. In this picture you see some studys I made in 2014 and totally forgot. I think they are still beautiful...you don't believe what you can find when moving out ;)Do you go to art exhibitions? What do you like there?

Yea I know, I’m a little late, Comic Con is over since this weekend. As always I had a great time there and was so happy about my new products. Now my artprints come with a passepartout and in foils.
